How to solve? RangeError: Error #1506: The specified range is invalid.

I complie a c library with alchemy, there are some errors in a function, and the flash traces:
"RangeError: Error #1506: The specified range is invalid."
I have set the CLibInit as global, only call the init() function ONCE as other said, but it didn't work.
I think that maybe the reason is out of heap/stack memory in some c functions???
or..??
Help me !!!

This error is result of accessing an invalid memory pointer. You have likely corrupted alchemy, or are accessing an uninitialized or null pointer.
I'm not sure if this also happens in the case of a link problem. The linker does not complain if methods are missing. But, I thought that was a different error.

This is very frustrating.
The more I use Windows built-in backup the more fragile it seems to be.
The D drive is a local drive and the path is valid.
Running check disk finds no problems. The drive is mostly empty.
I tried with and without the anti-virus software, same problem.
There are no other server errors to indicate a problem with the drive or the path.
I ran vssadmin list writers, and none of them returned any errors.
Why would the backup return an invalid path error, for a path that is valid?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll try to mail them to you before the end of the week.
A quick question:
if the backup failed to find and copy a single file or directory (for whatever reason), why does it abort the whole process?
The file in question was not critical, so having it missing from the backup would only have been a minor inconvenience.
Obviously, you want to log such an event very clearly, but it does not make sense to me for it to kill the whole process...
Will this be improved in future versions? I have to admit, I've not seen much backup software stop because of such a trivial error, except maybe "copy" from the command prompt.
I think the built-in Window Server 2008 R2 backup software is very promising, and overall, I like it better than the old NT Backup crud.
However, from my limited use, it still seems rough around the edges; too many glitches and problems, something you don't want to see from your backup software.

I have C# dll which is invoked through a C++ cgi executable which is deployed on apache 2.2. I am getting the following error when I am trying to access the private key of a certificate which is stored in the Localmachine store. It works fine while
debugging in visual studio.
It also works fine when I try to access the same certificate from the current user store through apache.
I have tried running apache as "SYSTEM", even then I get the same error.
I have followed the right process to import the certificate into the localmachine store through mmc.

This is probably because the worker process identity does not have read permission to the machine key store.
And I agree with you. "The specified path is invalid" is a typical misleading message.
You may need to clarify the difference between "SYSTEM- User" and "Current-user "through apache. Good Luck!

Let me tell you my configuration:
software: Windows XP sp3, Labview 8.5 en.
hardware: NI-cDAQ chassis 9172 with 4 modules installed (in this order):
 1. NI-9217 (4 RTDs)
 2. NI-9217 (4 RTDs)
 3. NI-9219 (4 RTDs)
 4. NI-9219 (4 RTDs)
So, i want to aquire 16 temperatures.
In MAX v4.3, all is working fine.
As you aspected, I have the famous error 50103: "The specified resource is reserved. The operation could not be completed
as specified". "Task name: unnamedTask<9>". - highlighting module #2.
My goal is to read these temperatures consecutively, i mean: mod1 ch0..ch3, mod2 ch0..ch3 and so on.
My programm (vi) is like that:
In a while loop I have a Stacked Sequence Structure which has 4 frames, each for every DAQ Assistant asigned and configurated
for those modules.
So i have: Assitant1 for mod1, Assistant2 for mod2, and so on.
The Assistants work well in configuration preview mod. (I see 4 temperatures on each module).
But in my programm, i got the error above, on module2.
I read something about this error and I understand that I can't use 2 or more resource in the same time.
I understand that a resource represents a channel on a module.
At each DAQ Assistant output I have a Split Signal (split in 4)
But with this configuration and this algorithm I suppose I read all 16 channels in total consecutively, not in the same time.
Am I wrong ?

Hi dsasorin,
The error that you have mentioned can be caused due to a number of reasons. There is a knowledgebase article listing several reasons for it that can be helpful. Have you created a task beforehand in MAX? Are you generating the code directly from it or are you writing the code in LabVIEW and asking it to use the channels from the task you specify? Have you tried using the lower level DAQmx VIs such as DAQmx Task name and then tried generating code from that by right-clicking and selecting Generate Code >> Configuration and Example. First try changing your network settings for the interface it uses and disable auto proxy setting.
It is a configuration issue. And yes it could all be "solved" with a simple 600MB direct download link in under 10 minutes.

could it be that the disp+work.exe starts and then ends after a few seconds? I've had the same problem some days ago. Finally after 5 reinstallations and one new Windows installation, all works fine.
So maybe you could answer some questions
Have you installed the MS Loopbackadapter or are you connected to a network?
You need the MS Loopback if you aren't connected to a network.
How is the size of your virtual memory?
Should be great enough: 4096MB works fine.
What's the name of your computer?
Shouldn't be more than 13 characters.

I recently upgraded from 10g to 11g and upon this upgrade, a website of mine stopped working.
It is a classic ASP website. I added a "testdatabase" page to the website to test the basic functionality of opening a connection. I've pasted the testdatabase page below. Anyways, upon running this page, I get this error:
Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 127: The specified procedure could not be found. (Oracle in OraClient11g_home1_32bit, D:\app\oracleadm\product\11.2.0\client_1\BIN\SQORA32.DLL).
I have two other environments where I have done the same upgrade and the site works just fine. I have compared all the IIS settings in my other environments to that of the one suffering from the error. Also, in the IIS settings, I have made sure that "Allow 32bit" was checked.
D:\app\oracleadm\product\11.2.0\client_1\BIN\SQORA32.DLL is actually where this DLL resides.
I have also checked to make sure the environment variables are correct.
The very first environment variable in the PATH setting is D:\app\oracleadm\product\11.2.0\client_1\bin; and there are no other references to oracle in the PATH environment variable.
I have done a google search and I've seen that people also tell me to check ORACLE_HOME to make sure it's correct. I've checked this in both of the working environments and there is nothing there. There is also nothing there in the broken environment. What should be there? If anything?
I don't know where else to look. What could be causing this error?

As a temporary solution, add the Administrators group to the IUSR and IWAM userids and see if that works. If it solves the problem, then it IS a matter of setting the users privledges correctly.

I am making an Auto-Arrange button and clicking on which

stage) in the tile format. Basically on clicking, I manually move
