step by step process to start ....

I believe the best way is to:
1: read the books I recommend at:
http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5360712&messageID=10578637#10578637
and get some practice on the technology mentioned in that post.
2: read a book on Swing.
Create a a project in Swing (without Spring or Hibernate)
3: read a book on Spring framework.
Create a project in Spring, but dont include hibernate in it.
4: Read a book on Hibernate. Create a project in Hibernate, but dont include Spring in it.
I recommend this because there is a lot to learn about Hibernate by itself without worrying about getting it to interface with Spring.
5: create a project using Spring and Hibernate.
Note: many projects will not benifit from Hibernate. Usually plain on DAO using JDBC is more than enough.
You need to know when and if its worth while to use Hibernate.

Weblogic, Spring, EAR, EE container, how to start spring container?

Hi, I'm a bit stuck and although googled for quite a while, haven't found any hint on how to achieve the following. (If someone notice, yeah, I've posted same question on spring forums :) )
I have some jar which contains spring beans which so far operated as
standalone app by simply starting spring context. Spring context config is within jar, but it could be moved out if required.
Now, I'm trying to embed it into EAR and to deploy to EE container (it is WebLogic server, thus I am posting here)...and it is fine, I've embedded it as javaModule and deployed it,
but of course it doesn't do anything as spring context is not started.
That is my question, does someone has experience with this? All I need is to on EAR start, to start spring context and on EAR stop to stop it...
This does not have any gui or anything so I don't need it to be webapp. Also there are no EJBs as I don't need them, this app actually occasionally calls some system command to process some files.
I am aware that maybe I'd need to extend ApplicationLifecycleListener but if so, what would be good approach to start context and keep it alive until EAR is stopped?
I am aware that I could convert it to web-app and use ContextListener on web-app, but before that I'd like to check, is this achievable,
and what is the best approach to start spring context if I only need container to be started, nothing else?
Furthermore, if I implement singleton service (as I don't need this to be spread throughout cluster) what would be the best approach to start spring context from it?
Any help/tip/info/suggestion is very appreciated.

Well, I've actually solved it meanwhile without webapp stuff.
Perhaps if you are experienced with weblogic could evaluate my solution.
I've implemented application lifecycle listener and in post start I start spring
with ClassPathApplicationContext.start (by giving it config location) and stop it in pre stop.
Not sure if this is the best solution but it works quite fine.

In Flex Builder, select your project and open its Properties.
Select the Flex Build Path. On the window, select the Library tab.
Pick the Add SWC button and browse to the SWC and pick OK. It will
be added to the search path.
If you are using the command line compiler (mxmlc or compc)
use the library-path option.

JDeveloper 11 does not yet provide documentation about the integration with Seam (not only the technology but also the documentation is in early preview stage). However, this is an interesting question you ask and I'll follow up to see if we can get some document out in short term.

How do I tell my movie to start at frame 0 for a HTML5 canvas file?

I am trying to work through the Flash CC classroom in a book and in the very first project, it wont let me test my movie because it says EaselJS has to start at frame 0, not frame 1. Nothing in the books project description mentions how to do this. How do I remedy this?

So I just tried to apply a code snippet and it says I have to convert the photo to a movie clip. The exercise in the book mentions nothing about doing this so I have no clue how to do it. I followed the directions for the exercise exactly and it does not work. I am at a loss.

We have already searched in ISR_Cookbook_2004, however we didn't anything related webdynpro for java in that.

There are a number of issues here. A form that you created with LiveCycle Designer (XFA) cannot be used with FormsCentral. An Acroform, the kind you can create with Acrobat, can be used with FormsCentral, with certain limitations, one of which is skip logic. A dynamic XFA form allows for this type of thing, but as mentioned, they don't work with FormsCentral. You can set up an Acroform to show/hide or activate/inactivate fields based on selections or entries made in other fields, but you'd have to set this up in Acrobat, not FormsCentral. So you can set up something roughly equivalent to a web form's skip logic, but you'd have to learn how to do this in Acrobat using JavaScript. There is a separate Acrobat JavaScript forum here if you have any questions.

Depending upon what country that you are in (films can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the film from your iPad and redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app (or the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes).
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download films, or if you have problems with the re-downloaded version, then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that film and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).

There you can see a package named com.sap.mdm.examples.The classes in it contains some examples using which you can start understanding the code.
You need to have MDM JAR files for it. And these JAR files to be used at build time can be added to the project thru :-
Right click on project-> properties->Java Build Path - > Add external JARs
At run time you can add them the reference in
Right click on project-> properties->web dynpro references->library reference.

Note that this is an open source project. Once you know which libraries you need, create a project in JDeveloper and double click on the project node. There is a Library node that allows you to import libraries to be used in your code.
Under Tools --> Manage Libraries you can configure JSP tag libraries if required

I too beleive that if you are having about 10 years of experience as an IT guy , then definately one would have developed that understanding of the function as well .
In ABAP what i have experienced is that if you are having that business clarity or fucntion knowledge the you would think in a more effective way as compared to a newbie . As you would be aware what the problems coule be and what new would cropp in over a period of time .
As a fresher yes you can start in ABAP but it would make your friend diffrent from the masses based on his 10 years of experience .
