How to stop extended buffering/loading?

Hello!
I have a high speed internet and when i watch video on SMP the video lags, because video is being loaded very fast (thats what i've noticed on every other player, includng youtube), so my question is whether it's possible to allow to load only up to 10 seconds of playback maximum (from the current position) instead of allowing to load video all the way till end?

well. I have a method in my applet that fills an array of images:

when the image array has to be filled with other images, the same mehtod is executed again with other parameters. But, it isn't very fast because it seems the applet waits until the previous images are loaded and only starts loading the new after that. But, I don't want the applet to wait because i don't need the old images anymore.

Goto RSPC find your PC and double click on START then change the timings, i.e. give starting date is 01.01.9999 like that Save and ACtivate the PC, it won't start till 01.01.9999.

Ive just created a page with 12 FLV players, all to play
audio, problem is, when you click open the page, all the tracks
seem to be loading into the players.
Can some one please tell me how to stop this, Im a flash

There are a couple of ways I think would work.
1. Use only one Playback Component. At the appropriate time,
change the content of that single player using
instanceName.contentPath = "new file name";
2. If you use multiple players, set the parameters to not
automatically load. At the appropriate tim use
"instanceName.load();"

hello Nitin1234, the handling of live bookmarks was changed quite fundamentally starting in firefox 13 & upwards in order to improve the overall performance of the browser - now rss feeds won't get updated in the background anymore but will only be fetched when you're actively accessing them. this is probably leading to the unwanted side-effect that you're experiencing, unfortunately i don't know any way around that.

If it's a large app and you've got a relatively slow connection that it might take a while to finish loading.
Does tapping the icon change it's 'state' ? You could try a reset and see if it resumes loading after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
Or you could try downloading it on your computer's iTunes and then sync or drag/drop it across to the iPad device.

This is an example of how you can select the exact content that you want to sync to your device. You do not have to sync the entire iTunes library. You can pick and choose the music, apps, books and so on that you want to sync. This is using music as an example.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on only the albums or playlists that you want to sync.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
You can do this with apps, books, movies .... Whatever .... You have the freedom to sync whatever you want.

HELP - How to stop audio from starting when captivate loads

Hi there,
I'm trying to work out how to stop my audio files attached to objects (images) from playing when captivate initially loads. I have a number of images with audio and when captivate initially loads all of the audios play at once which isn't good. I only want the audio associated with the object to play when the user clicks the item.
I've been researching for days and can't find an answer. Am I doing something wrong, or am I overlooking something.?
Could someone PLEASE help me with this or at least put me in the right direction. Any suggestions will be appreciated!!!

To achieve that you have to separate the audio from the image. The principle I explained in this article http://lilybiri.posterous.com/audio-objects-control-them
The audio will play when the object to which it is attached gets visible. If you attach the audio to another object like a non-visible highlight box (that is my 'audio object' but you can use also a non-visible drawing object), you can set this 'audio object' to invisible in its Properties panel. When the user clicks on the click box, execute the action 'Show audio object' and the audio will play. I would even recommend using advanced standard actions over a simple action because you will be able to hide the other audio objects at the same time, and the play head will not be released - see video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3nKi-DB6Fw&feature=plcp
You have to know that hiding an audio object, will pause the audio. If you show it again, it will continue playing, not restart.

Open the Settings app > Mail,Contacts,Calendars > [scroll down to the Mail section] Tap Show and set to whatever number appears reasonable to you, keeping in mind this is the total email count, including newer messages.
