How to store / get application initialization information

Hi
Do you have any idea how to store application initialization information in a secured file and get them while running the application? Will appreciate if you could give sample code.

I am not sure what you mean but this section reads records from an ini-file and stores them into different combo boxes.
The name of the ini-file is stored in a resource file and theres where I get the file name.

This specific case use the information to log on to various systems.
