How to Sync Multiple email Account with iCloud

I have many email account over a local internet service provider and different hosting companie.
Is it possible to sync all my account over my MacBook, iMac, iPhone using icloud?
How can I do this?
Can you help?
Thank you,
BigBlaze

According the this: http://www.apple.com/mobileme/transition.html, "After moving to iCloud, family member accounts are no longer linked to the master account."  You can share an iCloud calendar (see http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2690), but I don't think you will be able to share iCloud contacts unless you are signed into the same iCloud account on both phones.

  • How to setup multiple email accounts on one apple device It syncs to the rest of my apple devices?

    I have a Macbook pro (10.8.2), iPad 4 (6.0.1), and iPhone 5 (6.0.1).
I have multiple email accounts set up on my iPhone:
    3X Work
    1X personal
    1X School
They use Gmail and Microsoft exchange.
Is it possible to have all these accounts automatically created on my ipad and Macbook without typing in all info again?
    Heres a visual:
I hope this makes it a little more clear.
I'm sure in the time it took me to type this, I could've manually added all the accounts to the devices lol
Oh, and iCloud > Mail is enabled on all devices.
Thanks for any and all help!

Your post is a bit open ended....
First thing - You need to decide if you want to use virtual domains or not.
    If
         [email protected]
         [email protected]
         [email protected]
all should be separate mailboxes, then you need virtual domains.
If those 3 addresses can all go to the same mailbox, then you don't.
If you don't need virtual domains, then don't use them... things are simpler without that feature.
If thats the case, in the domain name field in Mail service, enter your primary domain.
You'll then need to enter your other domains via command line.
First, check your mail domain setting with:
    sudo serveradmin settings mail:postfix:mydomain
Here is how you enter more than one domain:
    - Quit the Server app
    - Issue this with your domains between the quotes
    sudo serveradmin settings mail:postfix:mydomain = "domain1.com, domain2.com"
    - Restart postfix to activate your change
    sudo postfix reload
If you open the Server app, you will notice both domains are now listed.

  • How to sync all email accounts AT ONCE in N8 Symbi...

    Hi to all
There is any way to sync all email accounts AT ONCE in Nokia N8 with Symbian Belle ?
Because syncing one by one is very unpleasant (I have 12 email accounts on my phone). Is there a way to sync all accounts at once?
    hank you for your attention

iSync does not synchronize mail at all, and .Mac Sync synchronizes only mailbox structures, rules, signatures and smart mailboxes, not mail content.
To 'synchronize' mail, you must use IMAP technology, as opposed to the far more common POP3 standard for incoming mailboxes. The OS X Mail program supports IMAP account creation, as do most electronic mail providers, including AOL and Yahoo. Notably, Google does not support IMAP with it's Gmail product: it's probably best described as a slightly whacky, non-standard POP3 offering, and is not a good choice if you want to 'synchronize' you mail among two or more clients.
This sort of POP3 vs IMAP and mail synchronization discussion occurs frequently in the Mail & Address Book forum, and there are several 'experts' there—listed typically in the Top Rated Members in Forum list in the right sidebar—who help users all the time. You can search the forum by subject or their user name, or browse and look for related subjects or their answers, to get a better idea of how to deal with these issues. You can find that forum here:

  • Is there a way to change how Thunderbird checks multiple email accounts from several at once to checking them one at a time?

There is one problem I've had that I've never seen anyone else have! I live in an area of the Philippines with very poor performing Internet service. Things are slow but, it's enough if you have patience. My freelance work requires that I have multiple email accounts. Thunderbird handles this well except when initially checking emails. Because it checks email accounts all at once, I usually get timeouts and then have to resort to checking them manually, one at a time. So, I'm wondering if the way Thunderbird checks accounts can be changed to one at a time, especially at startup? Thanks!

Don't know any 'automatic' way - but, i have "Fetch Headers only" set on each of my 'secondary accounts'.
With varying internet service, manual "Get Messages" is probably the "Best Practice" because you will know how good your service is before you even try.
maybe set "Check for new messages every 'n' minutes" to different times
(3 minutes, 6 minutes, etc.) on each 'secondary' account.

  • Multiple email accounts with redirector BB software v4.3

Can you set up redirector to work with multiple email accounts (work/home) from two differnet pc's? If so how?

Redirector can only work with one email account per device. However, each BlackBerry data plan includes an additional 10 accounts that can be synched. Set those up from the Setup Wizard on your BlackBerry or by going to your carriers BIS website.

  • Syncing aol email accounts with mail?

I'm new to Mac, and I love my macbook but I can't figure out how to set up my aol email accounts using imail. Is that possible? I have two aol email accounts and I've been going on aol.com to check my messages but lately it hasn't been loading so I don't know what to do!
How can I sync my aol email accounts with imail? Is aol considered IMAP?
    Macbook   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

Yes, AOL accounts must be set up as IMAP in Mail, but AOL has a lot of idiosyncrasies and some really nasty “features” that normal IMAP accounts don’t have and that you should be aware of.
To more easily set up your AOL account in Mail, you may use AOL Service Assistant, which also provides assistance for using other AOL services in Mac OS X.
Instructions for setting up an AOL account in standard mail clients such as Mail should be available somewhere on AOL’s website, and can also be found here:
    http://members.aol.com/adamkb/aol/mailfaq/imap/applemail.html
These instructions are for Mail 1.3, and are somewhat outdated, but they can be used for Mail 2.x as well noting that the Special Mailboxes preference pane is called Mailbox Behaviors in Mail 2.x, and I believe you can now enable SSL for both the incoming (Preferences > Accounts > Advanced) and the outgoing mail server if you wish.
Instead of the settings shown in the article for Trash, you may want to turn ON Move deleted messages to the Trash, but in that case you should turn OFF Store deleted messages on the server.
AOL doesn’t let IMAP clients such as Mail to create or manage mailboxes at the root level of the account directory, only as subfolders of Saved — that’s why you must turn OFF Store messages on the server for all the mailboxes in Preferences > Accounts > Mailbox Behaviors, so that they are stored locally instead.
You may also want to read the more general guide the above article is part of (which is also somewhat outdated, but still useful to understand how AOL’s IMAP access works):
Accessing the AOL Mail System using IMAP - An Unofficial Guide
Note in particular that AOL automatically purges your mail from Inbox after some time. There is nothing you can do about it other than moving/copying your messages somewhere else to avoid losing them. You can create custom local “On My Mac” mailboxes in Mail, for example, and move/copy your mail there manually or set up rules to do it automatically.

  • How do I sync multiple email accounts on ipad

So I'm now, dubiously, the lucky owner of iPad mini with up to date software and iMac with latest software.
It now seems apple have decided they don't want me to use more than one email account and so have stopped me being able to sync them ? Even for apple this is breathtaking in its arrogance and fascistic nature...
    Anyone any ideas?

By synchronize, I suspect you mean that reading or deleting a message on one device will result it its being read or deleted on the other device. If so, this is only possible for IMAP accounts or exchange accounts. This is not an iPad limitation but a limitation in the email system protocols. iCloud mail is an IMAP system; so, iCloud email will synchronize automatically. There could be a slight delay in this, but it works.
Many email systems (Comcast may be one of the more common) are POP accounts. Those won't sychronize at all regardless of device used.
If by synchronize you mean that you can have the account on multiple devices and that's all; no problem regardless of the system. But, remember that you will download all your POP messages even if you have read and deleted them on another device. That can be a pain.

  • Multiple email accounts in icloud

Hi, I've got a client who is currently using icloud calendar, google mail (for her business emails) and icloud mail for her personal emails.
I need to try and sync things up for her so that I can manage her accounts for her. What I would like to do, if possible, is the following:
Share her calendar with my calendar
Keep her private emails in icloud
Forward / copy her emails from google account to icloud mail so that they sit in a seperate inbox from her personal emails BUT, when she responds to the business emails from the icloud mail, the recipient still sees that it has come from the google mail address. (reason why I want her to move away from googlemail is because I don't think it's as tidy a system to use as icloud mail)
Is this possible - and if so, how do I do it because I can't seem to get any answer from other forums on here.
    Thanks
    Nikki

In fact you weren't using MobileMe to send 'From' the other account, you were using the web page to send using that account's SMTP server (MobileMe's own server only allowed the use of its own addresses).
That facility is not available in iCloud, and similarly you can send using only your @me.com/@mac.com address as the 'From' address.

  • How do I delete email account from iCloud advance?

    Hi,
My iCloud email is merged with two other alien email accounts in my advance iCloud account information on my device, how do I delete those accounts?

Welcome to the Apple Community Utch.
I suspect you might be referring to your iCloud email aliases, which can't be seperated so far as the inbox is concerned. You might consider making some mail rules to move them into different folders.

  • How to sync my google calendar with iCloud ?

To sync my work calendar (that uses outlook) with my iPhone, Is sync my work calendar with my Gmail Calendar so I get my gmail alendar on my iPhone.
But on my iPhone the gmail calendar is not the account that is linked to my iCloud account.
So how can copy all my calendar items into my iCloud calendar, so it get synchronised on my MAc ?
    Thanks

Yes but if set iCloud as my default calendar it wont resolve my problem. Because If I add an item into my Gmail calendar, it will successfully get synch into my iPhone but as it is the gmail cal it won't be ssnch with my mac
(If I add directly an item into my iphone, it will get synch with my mac)
So to be clear, is there a way to copy on the fly items inserted from GCal to Icloud cal ?
add item in my work calendar -> get synch to GCal -> get synch on my iphone GCal -> copy that to iCoud Cal -> get synch through ICloud into my Mac

  • Organizing multiple email accounts with multiple folders

I'm a new mac user trying to figure out this whole new mac thing. I've used outlook and later on Mozilla Firefox for my emails.
I'm trying to figure out this mac mail app since I keep hearing use the mail and the phone book apps already in the system, they work great. They seem to, yes, but I'm having problems wrapping my head around how am I supposed to organize my emails in a coherent way in this apple mail app. Like every thing else mac it seems overly simplified, not necessarily a bad thing, but very frustrating.
Here's the folder structure I'm trying to recreate:
    Email Acc 1
    subfolder-Facebook
    subf.-Ebay
    subf.-GoogleAcc
    subf.-yahoo group1
    Email Acc 2
    subf.-Facebook
    subf.-yahoo group2
    etc, etc, etc...
I have about 10 different email accounts I communicate through and each of them has their assigned Facebook account, incoming yahoo group messeges, etc..
I started setting up my accounts and then realized that all the inboxes were grouped together, then all the outboxes, I saw one shared junkmail, cringed and stopped. I tried playing around with the smart boxes, rules, etc, and I can't seem to be able to split up all the inboxes etc.
    HELP!
    subf.-yahoo group3

    SizzlingChicken,
This whole mac thing is taking some getting used to There are certain aspects I'm really liking and others that seem so strange.
What, you wanted to stay in Kansas?? When it seems strange, lean towards a default "Am I over-thinking this?" I can't guarantee that this will be the case in all situations, but many of the "Switcher" issues I see fall into this category. I'll try to throw in a few "general purpose" bonuses at the end of this reply to help you on your way.
I noticed the Sent folder is also split up based on the accounts which will be nice for since I some times need to back track through sent messages from the different accounts.
Yep. This is one very good reason not to move messages out of their default locations. You'll always have "To" and "From" info to determine origins, thread, purpose, etc., but there's nothing like having them organized the way they come in. Especially with the number of accounts you're dealing with.
Maybe you could explain to me the advantage of using a smart mail box?
Have done, I think. If you have additional questions, let me know.
I might not even need to use the Entourage
    EEEEEK!!!!
Of course Mail works seamlessly with iCal and Address Book. And with the Finder!!!! I'll give you an example of the power you're dealing with, here. Open Text Edit (yeah, I know it doesn't make sense. Just do it). Begin typing email addresses, any email addresses (make them up, if necessary), separated by commas. No spaces, just commas. When you have typed enough to entertain yourself, triple-click the text to select it all. Click and hold the selected text, then drag it out to your Desktop.
Normally, dragging selected text out to the Finder creates what we call a "text clipping," which is like a portable and semi-permanent clipboard. This clipping can be non-destructively dragged into any other application window to paste in its contents. I use them all the time for these discussions. In this case, however, the Finder uses the "Data Detectors" built into OS X to make the determination that these are email addresses, and that this is a list of them. The resultant file, dragged out to the Desktop, gets a ".mailoc" extension, meaning it is a "Mail Location." Quit Text Edit. Now, double-click the ".mailoc" file. Lift your jaw, and close your mouth.
On to the bonus goodies. Perhaps the best advice I can give to you is to learn and use your keyboard shortcuts. The same in Windows pale in comparison. First off, those in OS X actually make sense. Generally speaking, your keyboard modifiers operate in a logical way: "Command" for issuing commands, "Option" for various options, and "Control" to control something. For the most part, this latter translates to choosing items from a contextual menu. It is the same as a "right-click" in Windows.
For now, let's just consider one function of the "Command" key. We all know what "Delete" is for. It is intended to be used in applications to remove text or items, or to backspace (which amounts to the same thing). If we select a file and press Command-Delete, though, we issue the command to "move this file to the trash." Give it a try. But wait, that's not all! You can also elevate the command, just like we "elevate" text to upper-case, by also pressing the Shift key. Move an unwanted file to the trash, as described. Then, press Shift-Command-Delete. Cool!
Now, try the same paradigm with the keyboard shortcut for "quit" (Command-Q, of course).

  • How to configure multiple email accounts (not aliases) in Thunderbird?

    Hi,
I have my own personal Oracle email account and 2 other Oracle email accounts that I own (these are accounts used for our team's customer newsletters).
I previously used Thunderbird for all 3 accounts with no problem. Now, I can no longer get mail for the 2 newsletter accounts. I have tried changing the sever to: stbeehive.oracle.com and entering my existing password but that does not work.
Should I run the Beehive config assistant and enter the account information for each of my 2 email accounts which are not yet working on beehive?
If not that, how do I get these other email address accounts configured in Thunderbird? I need to be able to send and receive emails.
    Thanks,
    Catherine

    Hi,
Please repost your question at the internal deployment forum, here .

  • Syncing Multiple Email Accounts

My question is I want to sync two mail accounts to my iPhone and didn't know if it is possible. I use a Gmail account for all my personal emails and I would like to sync my work email account to the phone as well. At work I use Microsoft Outlook. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

You can retrieve and send mail from any number of accounts via EDGE and WiFi. Mail does not sync via USB cable, only over the air. What "mail sync" actually does is sync mail SETTINGS, not the mail itself. You can sync only one set of settings, but you can manually enter as many accounts as you want to.
To sync work mail if your company uses Microsoft Exchange your company's Exchange server must have IMAP connectivity enabled. Check with your IT department.
