How to test credential Mapping
I have used the default adapter provided by the BEA n also made some services n
events working on it sucessfully, and also made a mapping between the remote user
n the WLS user in the WLI console.wat i want to know is how do i test the mapping
that i have established.
could u plz forward me the way to test this credential mapping

What kind of scenario are you working on, IDOC to file, file to IDoc or what.
Depending on the scenario you have created, enter all the details such as Sender Service, Receiver Service etc in the transaction SXI_MAPPING_TEST (in your XI box).
The next step is for you to enter your source XML file, if it is a file to IDoc scenario enter your source xml file. If it is a IDOC to file scenario, then enter the XML payload.
And once you execute it you will be able to test your mapping and see if it successful or not.

Help : How to test interface mapping in n:1 scenario
I have a scenario two message interfaces==> one message interface.
Then I new one interface mapping, and choose two source interfaces, one target interface. Also filled the mapping program.
But when switch to the test tab, there is no display about the source and target message.
How to do the test in this kind of scenario?

First check in Message mapping first if you have one.
Secondly when you select source or target message while developing message mapping did u get message like No objects found or something.
It should show either error or source message when you test interface mapping in any case.

In the Interface Mapping there is an option to test the
map. But it is not for the ABAP Mapping.
How can we test ABAP Mapping ?

How to test message mapping in XMLSPY if two receive message types exist?
Hi gurus,
In our message mapping, we have one send message and two receive messages, the testing is ok in message mapping test tool in ESR. While in XMLSPY, it gave the error because of the reason as follows:

Even after we added those statments, the error was still there.

In the source XML message you may find some extra tags being included.
Just remove those extra tags, then it will work fine.
For example:
If your source XML message is:

I've debugged ABAP Mapping with SXI_MAPPING_TEST transaction.
If you have creted a scenario including your ABAP Mapping, you only hace to put the correct sender/sender interface and receiver/receiver interface. You have to put some XML document as an input.
I wrote in my code the Break-point instruction an debugged the process without problems.

I'm trying to test the SAP example found in document "How to use Abap-Mapping in XI 3.0". This one is:
class interface = Z_TEST_ABAP_MAPPING
method = IF_MAPPING~EXECUTE
But I cannot test it.
1. In IR, when I uses the "Test" option inside my Interface Mapping, I have the following error message:
"Unable to tes. You cannot execute program Z_TEST_ABAP_MAPPING in the test environnement".
2. and when I uses transaction SXI_MAPPING_TEST, I have first this message: <i><SUCCESS>Services Processed Without Error</SUCCESS></i> But in the Trace folder, there is that:

Have you create a scenario in Integration Directory ?
Check in the Directory if in your interface determination you put correct information.
The sender service : SENDER
The sender interface : BookingOrders corresponding interface.
The sender namespace : http://sap.com/test/ABAPMapping
The receiver service : RECEIVER
Under Configured Inbound Interfaces, you can find :
The Inbound interface : MsgOut corresponding interface.
Interface mapping : BookingOrders2MsgOut that use your ABAP Mapping.
I am not sure the Receiver determination is necessary.
Then if it's OK, check that you put exactly the same information in transaction SXI_MAPPING_TEST :
Sender Service : SENDER
Sender Interface Namespace : http://sap.com/test/ABAPMapping
Sender Interface Name : BookingOrders corresponding interface.
Receiver Service : RECEIVER
Receiver Interface Namespace : namespace where you define your MsgOut Interface.
Receiver Interface Name : MsgOut corresponding interface.

Different service packs SAP MDM 7.1 supprot the same Syndication and Import map format.
For Import map is updating you can use Import manager
For syndication map is updating - Syndicator
If your syndication and import map have been saved into repository just archive repository from your source landscape and unarchive it in destination.
If your syndication and import map haven't been saved in repository.
Exporting your maps to xml(syndication maps from syndicator and import maps from Import Manager) before migration and importing it to new repository.
According updating(modification) repository structure:
For Import map is updating you can use Import manager
For syndication map is updating - Syndicator
Another way(very exotic) - make changes in exported xml maps.

I need some assistance on how to display a Map in JSP using struts or core JSTL. I have a HashMap which has a List of keys and each key maps to a value of an ArrayList.i.e I have an ArrayList of taxCodes and each taxCode maps to a value of taxDetails which is an ArrayList of details for for that particular taxCode. I have some trouble to display each taxCode then display taxDetails for each taxCode. Here is my code below:

You can test in three ways.
1.) In message mapping directly give the relevant data and then execute. Here you can test whether the mapping is correct or not.
2.) In Integrstion Directory after completing and activating the Configuration, in tool you can find the Test Configuration tab. There you can give the sender and receiver details along with payload. Here you can test whether the Configuration is correct or not.
3.) In RWB in COmponent monitoring. Select the Integration Engine Monitoring. Here give the sender and receiver details, Interface name, name space, Quality of service.
Now give user name and pass word.
Paste the payload from massage mapping and then press test tab. Here yoyu can directly send the message from XI server to the receiver system.

How to specify a mapping file using annotations?

i am trying to deploy a WebService (with annotations) on oc4j 10.1.3.1.0. but all i get is the following exception:

tdeerWe you codegen a Policy annotated WSDL, the policies are get included in the stub. Hence you don't have to specify a separate Policy file.
But if you need to use a separate policy then you need to set them in the AxisDescription object that you use in the ServiceClient and OperationClient.
e.g.
ServiceClient serviceClient = new ServiceClient();
OperationClient operationClient = serviceClient
.createClient(ServiceClient.ANON_OUT_IN_OP);
FileInputStream fis = new FileInputStream("path-to-policy.xml");
Policy servicePolicy = PolicyEngine.getPolicy(fis);
AxisService axisService = serviceClient.getAxisService();
axisService.getPolicyInclude().setPolicy(servicePolicy);

Credential Mapping not working

I wanted to achieve single sign on using in-built Credential mapping feature of weblogic server.It means using weblogic inner capability.
I thought of getting connected to pointbase server which can act as Enterprise Information System(EIS).
I did following steps.
Configuration Phase:
1) I configured Examples as username and Examples as password in pointbase server which will act as my EIS.
2) I wrote and deploy one connector class for connecting to pointbase server.
3) I configured Admin as username and Admin as password in my configured security realm which will act as Weblogic User.
4) I did credential mapping in the connector class for mapping my Weblogic (Admin) user to EIS(Examples) user.
Calling Phase:
1) I deploy one application to call pointbase server using the connector class.
2) I try to get the connection to pointbase server using the follwing code
getConnection("Admin","Admin");
Where Admin username is my weblogic user mapped to Examples user of point base server whose mapping is already done in the connector class.
I hope it to work for getting the connection. But it doesn't work.
whearas when i try to get connection using
getConnection("Examples","Examples");
which is my point baseSorry I'm still a little confused.
Do you have a unique index defined over the set_id and cust_id?
Why are you generating a sequence number for just the unique combinations of the above columns? How is that being done?
What happens to the generated sequence column if you find a non-unique match of the columns?
What is your ultimate goal here?

How to test a webservice scenario...
Hi,
In SAP PI, I need to test a scenario that involves webservice. I can see in Integration directory
that a communication channel has been defined as sender with adapter type as File. So I assume that a file is being picked up
from the FTP server.
Also There is another comm channel of type receiver, adapter type as SOAP with a target URL.
Now I dont know how to test this ? Any pointers how to check
from where this request to webservice is initiated ? I have not worked
on web service scenario before, so need help to understand to test the end to end.

1. Do you have test data? any file that is archived in sender FTP under archive directory.If not then go to your
mapping progrram->test tab-> fill test data (all mandatory fields)->switch to xml tab- Copy the whole content
->save it in a text pad->see the file name maitained in the sender file adapter->rename the file and place in
the location mentioned in the sender FTP.
2. Check in RWB if the channels is active and you can see the file being picked in the log ,you can see SXMB MONI
also if there is checkerd flag.
3. To see if the soap posing has happened or not you can see the soap channel monitoring in RWB and read the log
or you can confirm the posting with the team which received the data( portal /Webservice).

I done mapping from source to destination as per tech spec in my scenario based on some conditions
i used node functions also..
But my question is how to test the every mapping filed , condition is correct or not, what i used node function working properly or not...

If you want to check mapping for individual mapping then in design go to test tab and put your data there and then come again on Design tab and click on any target field fro which you want to check mapping then right click on target field in mpping area and click on Display queue and check whether it is expected output for that particular field mapping.
