How-to: text lift off page (ala: ESPN 30 for 30 - Straight Outta LA effect)

Hello,
I am looking to do an effect that I saw on 30 For 30 - Straight Outta L.A. an Ice Cube Documentary. In it, a newspaper moves onto the screen and then the text from the paper appears to lift off the page.
Does anyone know of a good tutorial. Some years ago, in the first version of Motion, I did a "Kid Stays In The Picture" effect with still photos, which is a similar concept, but I have forgotten exactly what I did and I am still working my way through the new interface in Motion 4.

Text disappearing off page.

While working with Pages, whether with a text box or with a table I find that when I get to the bottom of a page the text disappears - it does not appear on the next page. Help!

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, then swipe the slider to power off.

How to get pics off of adobe .pdf file for emailing.(mac computer)

What happened: I got copy place to scan 8.5x11 pages that had 2-3pics on each. They scanned in as .pdf file which I open with Adobe reader and see 8 pages of several pics on each page. I'd like to be able to drag or copy off pics from these pages so I can email to others, but I cannot find out how to do this. I saw under the readers TOOLS the submenu of "select and zoom" and submenu "snapshot tools" and tried that and it shows "the selected area has been copied", then what do I do? I try going into email program (mac computer and using Thunderbird email) and the "paste" is greyed out. I try opeining iPhoto and same greyed out PASTE option. WHEre can I paste it to after using that? It won't go to desktop either. Is there any other Adobe program that will make this work on a Mac computer? Thanks ahead for ALL help!

Adobe supports Macs for 99% of their applications. I'm not sure where you found that information.
Photoshop isn't an inexpensive application so you may look in to buying the less expensive version of Photoshop Elements.

How to set the home page in FF14.0 for Android?

Just installed FF14.0 for Android. Previous versions allowed users to set their own home page - how is this done in this version?

Shame Firefox does not have ability to support this.
Have recently downloaded Firefox Beta for Android & had been using Aurora. For both - get this Tab home page - not user choice. Was hoping the ability to select own Home Page would be added to a future update.
Didn't like this feature in Chrome - so deliberately don't use Chrome in any OS. Lots of people complained about this in Chrome. Not sure why Firefox would want to restrict what users can do??

How to load one report page at a time for heavy reports of over 100 pages.

Three banks merged together and now my reports have to pull massive combined data of all 3 banks. Even after tuning the queries, applying indexs, its taking long to load. A normal report now has over 100 pages.
Do you know if I can just load 1 page at a time and show it to user so the user donot have to wait for all 100 or more pages to load before they can see the whole report...? Kind of spooling...or something.

I am not aware of a simple solution to set the file name. You need to set the content-disposition, but I don't think this is possible with any of the report parameters. A workaround is to save to save the report as a pdf file (destype=file&desname=myreport.pdf), and then open it in the browser after the report is finished.
About the timeout: this can be set in the repserver conf file (engineResponseTimeOut) or override it in the url with parameter ENGINERESPONSETIMEOUT. It's all in the documentation, so always start your search there!

How do I print one page at a time for a photobook .pse project?

I am trying to print a photobook project one page at a time as I am using double sided paper that I need to turn over. One other project I did asked me if I wanted both sides and would I do the turning myself, but this one doesn't. I also wanted no border on the prints and it came out with a border. It is also frustrating to have to wait for it to load 75 pages and then it prints them back to front. Is this PSE or the printer software?

Yes, you can print one page one at time as you want .
In print dialog, select other pages and click on remove button.(refer to screenshot).
For border click on more options and ensure check box is not selected ( refer to screenshot)

How do I turn off typing suggestions In Firefox for Android?

I am having a terrible problem with comments I previously typed (primarily in FB) taking over my screen when I am trying to type a new comment. I am unable to see what I am typing and all my previous comments show up for me to insert. If I click on one of the previous comments, it inserts it into the space where I am trying to type. There seems to be no way to close the suggestions and get them off the screen. I never, ever want to say the same thing twice. Can I please get rid of this function entirely? Sorry to hear this. Ok lets try disabling the feature. There is a former question that pointed to [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/addon/clear-mobile-history/ Clear Mobile History Add on] but this essentially does the same as wiping history from the menu.
There is a private window you can navigate in that will also prevent history from being remembered. It is called a new guest window. [[Share your Android device with a Firefox Guest Session]]

Does anyone know how to pull songs off my iPod nano formatted for a Mac to a PC?

I Have an old iPod nano that was originally formatted for a Mac that is no longer around. I am trying to import the songs onto my pc but cannot because re formatting will erase everything. Any suggestions?

How do I "turn off auto renew in Itunes for Magazine subscriptions?

I need to unsubscribe from three magazine subscriptons. It says to loginto the Apple store, view my account, manage. I have done this but dont see an option to "turn off auto renew" Any help would be appreciated.

I recently downloaded iTunes to my new Toshiba Ultrabook. Now when I select a song, I get a female voice telling me about it...it is extremely annoying. I have not been able to find out how to disable this feature, which I believe is called VoiceOver. Note, this happens WITHOUT any device connected to iTunes. How do I turn off the low battery alert for my wireless keyboard?

The question is in the subject line. I find it kind of annoying to have to keep closing the alert window, and am still able to use the keyboard for a while past when the low battery alerts began. I tried system preferences for both alerts and for the keyboard but am not seeing how to adjust it there. Any help is appreciated! And yes I understand changing the batteries would probably help but I am comfortable using the full life of the batteries rather than changing them out right away.

I haven't tested this long enough to know if it helps yet, but it is easy to turn on again. I am so annoyed with not being able to disable these warnings that I am more than happy to disable the whole notification centre, if that is what Apple wants us to do to sort this annoyance.
