my son lost his iphone. trying to tracking it by my pc computer and dont know how. his gps is on. how do i do this?
The only way to track is vis find my iphone app on sn ipod touch/iphone/ipad or icloud.com on most any internet connected device/computer

Hi, I followed the instructions from Apple MFI website, to apply for the Made For iPhone Program. After submission of the necessary documents and information, I have not heard back from Apple for couple weeks. How to track the application progress? Can someone help? < Edited by Host >

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone/iPod Touch is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, and running iOS 7.0, then phone cannot be activated or the passcode removed without knowing your Apple iD/Password. It will be nothing but a useless paperweight.
If not running iOS 7.0, the phone can be forced into recovery mode & restored. -

You cannot track with the imei number it is not possible. The only way to track is to install find my phone and have that turned on and then you can track the phone on icloud.com but only if the phone is on and has internet

It can't be tracked unless it has a data connection to the internet, either via cellular data or wifi. Unless you set up iCloud, enabled Find My iPhone in settings, and the phone is turned on and (in your case) connected to wifi, you won't be able to track it.
