how can i get my contacts from the verizon cloud online??

        Hey there zututu,
I'm glad to hear that you are using the Verizon Cloud to back up your contacts. It is a great way to make sure that you have your contacts saved in case you ever switch devices.
Are you just trying to view your contacts online? Are you trying to transfer your contacts from the cloud to your device? Do you have the Verizon Cloud application downloaded to your computer?
Please provide additional details so I can better assist.

  • How do I change the apple id on my new phone

How do I change the apple id on my new phone?

If you want to change your iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted.  If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • How do I send a photo from the Verizon cloud to my phone?

With the old system, all one had to do was click "send a message" under "My Media", drag the photo, and then click "send".  This new cloud service seems to lack that basic functionality.  What's the point of it if you can't do that?

You can absolutely still share your memories through messages, sparkimusprime. When you have logged into www.vzw.com/cloud, select Compose from the left side. There's an Attach section just below the To field you can then select to add a picture, video, or even music to the message just like the previous system allowed.

  • QUESTION: Changing Backgrounds on the Curve ( How To Transfer from the 8700g )

    Good Morning,
I am new to the Blackberry Family and so far, I love it ...... I have a question that could nopt be answered by the T-Mobile Support Folks.
I ended up getting the 8700g phone and it has a ton of different backgrounds that come standard with it, I then decided to order a Curve which came yesterday, I was able to transfer my phone numbers and notes over, I used the CD that came with the unit.
The Curve really came with no additional backgrounds other than that blue one, my question is how can I transfer all of those backgrounds from that 8700g over to my curve to use ?
I would truly appreciate any help and guidance .....
    Thank You in Advance !
    Bill

What you have on your computer is your iTunes library, not your "account."  The "account" you have for iTunes is your Apple ID, which you use when purchasing or downloading from the iTunes Store.  If these songs came from music CDs that you imported into iTunes, those songs are not related to your Apple ID.
Recently my itunes account changed for some unknown reason and now it doesn't recognize the songs from the cds
How are they not "recognized"?  Are the songs still listed in your iTunes music library, but grayed out?  They no longer appear in your iTunes library at all?
If you search your computer (not in iTunes) for the song files, using one of the song names, can you find the song files?

  • I want to replace the hard drive on my IMac but want to know how to transfer from the time machine external hard drive to the replacement drive?

I have reached capacity on my IMac hard drive.   It is a 250 GB drive.   I have an external drive backing up using the time machine utility.  My question is once I replace the HD on the IMac, how do I load the new drive with the back up from the external drive?

    So many possibilities.
I am not an expert, but I have learned this much is doable:
Buy an external enclosure to re-use you old drive.
Buy a new external drive at least as large as as your intended new internal drive.  Make it self-powered.
Download CarbonCopyClone (free download, relatively small).
Make a CCC clone of the original disk on the new external disk
Install the original disk in the external enclosure.
Install the new disk in the main system.
Boot from that new external drive that has the carbon copy clone.  CCC will be installed on it and it will be bootable.
Use CCC on the external to directly clone back to new drive you install in the main system (the "bootable" flag will copy).
NOTE THAT AT NO TIME IS YOUR ORIGINAL DISK BEING OVERWRITTEN IN THIS PROCESS.  YOU CAN ALWAYS GO BACK AND REINSTALL IT.
Step 1 makes your old disk resuable as a spare copy for "anything".
Step 2 gives you something to use as CCC for after the recovery process.
Step 3 gets the software needed for cloning
Step 4 makes a bootable saved copy of your current system
Step 5 shifts your old disk to a usable place
Step 6 positions your new disk
Step 7 boots your existing install of OSX (just from a different drive)
Step 8 puts your original install on your new disk.
Now you have a bootable larger hard drive, and a bootable copy on a drive large enough to save all you can store on your new internal drive.  And you have your old disk to use for "anything".
Now you have TM backup in one place, and CCC backup in another.
Two backups is better than one, and one of your backups is bootable in case of system failure.

  • How do i delete the verizon cloud that installed itself and won't work on my Q10?

Verizon pushed down software updates and installed Verizon cloud which I find out is not supported for my phone.  now I need to delete the junk and get my backup plus restored.
    Any ideas?
    mike

it is beginning to look let a few newer phone will come that way.. environmental issues reasons ? ?  maybe ...
I am wondering about that to.. and would take into consideration of the amount of data and usage one does use .. if high I  would worry about the unit getting to warmer and draining the cell in battery..  I tried to walk another user through one .. they could not get the phone to keep a charge .. thankful they were at the end of contract and took it in and traded up..
and on the backup assistant .. if I go to my apps either under Verizon the app store  or the maker's section and in the search just type backup.. there are a good handful of apps.. are you looking to back up every thing or just certain items..

  • HT201401 have damaged iphone 6 that I replaced with a new one and need to know how to transfer from the old to the new phone.

I dropped my original iPhone 6 and thus crushed the glass cover. I purchased a replacement, same model iPhone 6 128mg, and I've restored from my backup in iTunes and iCloud but now after updating the new phone it displays an error that the states can't restore because 'find my iphone" is on. I disabled this on the new phone as well as the damaged one, is it possible I'm missing something?

    <Personal Information Edited by Host>

What exactly are you doing when you get that message?  That should only occur if you are trying to restore it via iTunes (and you can only restore from iCloud or iTunes, not both).
Also, don't post your personal information like your email address on this forum.  That's not only a violation of the Terms of Use of this forum, but also an unwise idea to give out your email address (and possibly Apple ID) to complete strangers.

  • How do I get the subsidized price for a new phone when I already have a plan?

I have been a Verizon customer since September. I have a dumb phone, and I'm really having trouble keeping up with my life. Now that the Droid 4 is coming out in February I've decided that it's time to upgrade. The Droid is coming out at $199 with a two year contract, I think. My question is, what do I have to do to get the subsidized price for the phone? In my current contract I can't upgrade until 2013. Should I cancel that contract all together and just pay the ETF? Then get a new contract with the new phone? Can I even do that? Also, would there be any way to keep my phone number in this situation?
Thanks for your help, Verizon Community!

Ok I kno it ***** but here is what i have done in the past when i had your same situation I have been a VW customer for about 13 years so i had old equipment lying around that i could use but If you are a new verizon customer you will have to find an older phone that does not require a monthly data package. You say you have a dumb phone so your old equipment mite all ready work for this. Here is what you do
Go to Verizon and get the new phone you want tell them you will be adding a line to your account so you can sign up and get the new Droid 4 phone for the discounted price of $199 tell them you want to add the phone to your plan and convert your existing plan to a family plan this should be around the same price as you are currently paying unless you have an unlimited plan. But there is an extra monthly charge of $10 more per month per xtra phone on the plan up to 4 + the 1 original phone. so you are allowed 5 total on a family plan.
Then the following day you transfer the new phone to your old number and vise versa.
You now shut off the old phone and put it in a draw. You now have the new phone you want and dont have to pay the early term fee. the early term fee is pro rated so every month it will go down by $5-$10 per month im not sure exactly how much. You can call verizon and ask exactly how much it is
Although this way it will end up costing you $240  24mo x $10 you do not have to pay it all up front and if you ever have a problem with your droid ie (breaks, stolen, loss) you have a back up that will be ready to go Plus you get to keep your current number
    Hope this helps
Actually, if you are not ALREADY on a Family Plan, it WILL end up costing you more than this extra $10/month. For example, if you are on the 450 minute Individual Plan, you are paying $40/month and possibly $20/month for unlimited texting. The smallest Family Plan(700 minutes/month) would put you at $70/month and if you want the same unlimited texting, it would be an additional $30/month. This is $100/month vs $60/month on an Individual Plan which comes out to an additional $40/month x 19 months(24 months - 5 months you have already completed on your original line) = $760 ADDITIONAL you would pay until you could cancel your original line. If you wanted to keep your original #, though, you would instead pay an ADDITIONAL $960($40 x 24 months) until you could cancel your new line. Either way, it would MUCH cheaper to just pay full retail for the new phone.
Remember, this is ONLY if you are currently on an Individual Plan and change to a Family Plan with 2 phones. If you are currently on a Family Plan with others, and have the ability to add an additional line, your additional payments would not be this high.

  • How to transfer from old computer (Photo Album) to new computer (Elements)?

For Christmas I'm getting my wife a new version of Adobe and a new computer, as well.  She has 12,000 photos with tags in Adobe Photo Album 1.0 on the old computer.  I'm installing Adobe Elements 8 on the new computer.  How do I transfer the photos with tags?  Thanks for any advice.

I recommend that you first install PSE 8 on the old computer and convert the PSA 1 catalog to PSE 8.  Then once PSE 8 is running correctly, you can use the backup/restore method to move the catalog and photos to the new computer.  Though it is sometimes possible to do it in the other order, or to do the move and conversion in one step, I strongly recommend not doing that -- it will make the troubleshooting much harder.
Though Adobe claims to support conversion of catalog from previous version to PSE 8, many people with PSA and older versions of PSE have experienced problems.  See this FAQ for details on how to deal with common issues that might arise:
    http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#_Problems_converting_catalo gs
See this FAQ for how to use the backup/restore method to move your PSE 8 catalog to the new computer:
    http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshop-elements-faq.htm#_Move_your_photos_1
As you can probably infer by now, it's very likely you'll run into issues, so expect to spend many, many hours (unfortunately).

  • How do I delete a movie from the iTunes-cloud?

How do I delete a movie from the iTunes-cloud? I don't want to hide it I want to delete it even if it means I can't download it again..

Oh sure you can delete it from the computer. I thought that you wanted to permanently delete it so that you can never access it again. In fact, in some countries, you can delete movies and then download that again at no charge as long as you use the same Apple ID.
Launch iTunes on your computer and click on the movies tab under the Library heading, find the movie and right click on it and select Delete.

How do I delete all my information from the I-Cloud?

    Greetings austinfromdellslow,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you would like to store your purchases movies on an external hard drive. To do this, first you will need to download your purchased content from the cloud to the iTunes library on your computer.
Download past purchases - Apple Support
Once your media folder is complete with the downloaded content, you can move that iTunes media folder to your external hard drive using the information in the attached article below.
