How to Trap Order Line cancle event?

I need to design a interface which will send the sales order line information whenever a order line get cancelled.
Now question is where should I add this interface program to achive real time processing.

How to handle at line-selection event for 2 different fields

Hi,
The requirement is there are 2 fields in a report output.
One is Material number
and the other is Material document number.
On clicking the material number, the user should be taken to MM03 screen.
On clicking the Material document number, the user should be taken to MB03 screen.
I am able to take care of the first one by putting a HOTSPOT on material number and I am using at line-Selection event, call transaction MM03 and it is working fine

How to Import Order Line Items

Hello,
My job requires me to key over 50 order line items (per order) and I receive around 400 orders per week. It's pretty tiresome and its not ergonomical.
I was wondering if there's any way I can "Import" order line items from an Excel sheet, instead. For each line item, there are only 3 columns I key in:
- Part #
- Order Qty #
- Inv. Loc #
Other required fields (Order UOM, Handling Type, Lead Time Cat., (Publish) List Price, etc.) will then populate automattically.
My question is whether this is possible?
Any help will me appreciated. I will then ask the IT department to help implement. Thank you.

Importing can be done through EIM, but involves some work by Administrators.
You can also try to do it with an Import Object, but this is not fully supported by Siebel.
Another option would be through Script.

there is no wrap event.
Wrap happens during relayout. The event which invokes relayout could be different. E.g. change size or chane model (document).
Just add document listener and componnet listener.

How to trap Command Line errors

Sigh. I have searched for 3 hours to the answer for my question. I'm new to scripting, so perhaps this is the problem in my not finding a solution.
In a nutshell, I simply want to gracefully trap command line usage of a script. I want to have my script accept a parameter (ie. a value) and a switch.
Example: <script> -path <path> -set
The problem is that i cannot trap incorrect usage. I would prefer <path> to be position one, and -switch to be position 2 of the parameters passed to the script. I have not tried this "outside" of PS v2.0 ISE (ie. Powershell.exe).
Of course, I would love it to work in both environments.
I KNOW that the ISE will prompt for missing mandatory parameters. Great. But incorrectly specified parameters causes Powershell ISE to "bomb-out". That is, displaying error messages to an uninformed user whom views it as unintelligible.
Example of incorrect usage: <script> -pat <path> -set
Again, I would LOVE to trap this, and display correct USAGE to the screen. Unfortunately, this produces a Powershell error message which has proved unintelligible to "simple" users.
Perhaps I must accept that this is not possible in Powershell v2.0. I simply want to program my script to CATCH this error and take the desired action.

How to cancel "Order Line Fulfilled"?

"You are not allowed to cancel Order Line because:

Is there any method to cancel the order line? Which column decide order line Fulfilled??

1.I wonder why the creditonly line created manually can be cancelled from screen?Also after lines be booked .
But the retrobill line cannot cancel although the line status ='Entered'.
2.I don't wnat canceling from sql but try to make the line not become "Fulfilled" before line created.

Trouble is, I'm not sure that you can. applet.stop( )
and applet.destroy( ) might be called, but there is
no guarentee that you can complete processing before
you are terminated, especially if you need to do
something slow, like returning state data to your
server. And you can't stop the broswer closing.
I know that in Javascript, you can catch and even
stop the browser window being closed, which is how
things like goggledocs can ask for confirmation
before closing. (window.onbeforeunload( ) ).
I have toyed with the idea of having a
javascript/ajax thread in my html, to catch this
termination, and communicate back to the server from
java to say a document has changed, but it all seems
rather heavyweight for such a simple task.Look at Runtime.addShutdownHook()
You could also try using a WindowListener as well and trap the WindowClose Event.
stop() should do very little other than invalidate the current thread/run flags
and then exit. ie: a stop() example

Your run method should look for a stop condition and then exit.
Otherwise you could be doing stop processing while run is still
running.

Details of the issue:
OM: Auto Schedule profile option is set to No and Auto schdule check box at order type is not checked, still orders are getting scheduled upon booking. We are on R12

Check if the profile options have a different value at the user / responsibility level.
Also check if you have any defaulting rules that populate the scheduled ship date.
Check if the order workflow has a step that does scheduling.
Check if the "Schedule Orders" program is scheduled to run every x minutes.

How to save LIST_LINE_ID of Price List when create Sales Order Line

I dont know how save the LIST_LINE_ID of the Price List on Sales Order or anywhere when create Sales Order Line.
I create with the following steps:
Step 1: Create Price List for Item A with two line: Line 1 (Unit Price = 10,5, Pricing Attribute with Tax Classification Code = 5%), Line 2 (Unit Price = 11, Pricing Attribute with Tax Classification Code = 10%)
Step 2: I create Sales Order Line with Item A, Tax Classification Code = 5% --> Unit Selling Price = List Price = 10,5 but dont bookorder
Step 3: I update the Unit Price of Line 1 into 11.55.
Step4 : I book this Sales Order. Howerver, I use form personalization to customize Book Event: if the Unit Price of Item on Price List > Unit Selling Price then cant not Book. But I dont konw List Price of Sales Order belong the line of Price List.

Bob's right - except that if you have OM: List Price Override Privilege set to 'Unlimited' (and from your scenario it sounds as if you have) it is possible that the value in unit_list_price will vary from what was originally retrieved from the price list.
In that case, a safer bet is to use :LINE.original_list_price in your personalization as this will always contain what was originally retrieved and will mean you can avoid any repeat lookup via list_line_id.

This is already available in the additional line information..though..
If you still want that at line level to be displayed..maybe you need to customize the form...not sure how u can handle that logic

How update amount of charge line for a sales order line id

I have a modifier which are qualified for a order line id, i want to update the amount of charges if the Shipping date is > 1 day than resquest date, as I do not have the advances pricing module so i have to do a customization for this condicion.
I want to now how to update these, Does exist a API in order to do that ? or Can i go directly to oe_price_adjustments table and modify the data ??

Hi Fernando,
I'd probably do this in Adv. Pricing using a dynamic formula + factor list (two diff charge levels dependent on schedule ship date minus request date) against a booking event modifier. Obviously, you don't have dynamic formulas in Basic Pricing but could you handle this via creating a new pricing attribute? The charge levels could be maintained on a lookup rather than hardcoded and used in the calculation by your new pricing attribute.
Whatever approach you go for would also need to cope with the scenarios that you either rescheduled the order or manually amended the request date because obviously the gap between request date and SSD would change.
Your first suggestion is feasible, the second not a good move - I'm not sure how much it costs to licence Adv. Pricing but you could always offset the cost against the cost of developing and maintaining a custom update routine.

The responder event is fired after the unlock of text frame in this case.
I was trying the service kEditCmdPreProcessService, but I could not find the companion interface for this service.

How to enter serial number for sale order line which is in shipped status

Hi All,
We have 2 different items which are defined as Serialized at Sale order issue at item definition.
In one sale order,User has forgot to add serial number to one of the item at Ship confirm stage.
He has entered serial number correctly to other item.
Now the both Sale order lines are in Shipped status if we view them through Shipping>transactions.
I am technical guy and new to OM.Could you please let me know the process to enter the serial number for the item to which user has missed it

Since the item is already shipped, you cannot enter serial number for this line.
you have to enter serial numbers after pick confirm only.

As a workaround for the previous lines do RMA and try to receive the goods back to your subinventory.

How to upload sales order line items?

For years my customer service department has been asking for a way to upload sales order line items into the VA01 sales order-entry screen.
Many of our customers submit PO's with huge amount of line items, up to 1,000 lines. Our CS reps need to key in the data line by line (or copy/paste
approx 17 lines at once from Excel into the VA01 screen), and we are looking for a way to make this process leaner. One idea we have is that user creates the order header, and then has a way to upload the material numbers and quantities in a separate (newly created Z-transaction) screen in one go.
Obviously rules then need to be built that deal with the various pop-up messages related to e.g. ATP, material status, etc.
Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on how we could achieve this? A way to make the sales order-entry process a bit less time-consuming? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated !
