How to trigger XML messages for FWO

Hello Experts,
I’d like to trigger a XML outbound message after creation of an air forwarding order (FWO) in my TM system. It could not be a confirmation. I need this XML to provide the results of charges calculation in a legacy system (B2B communication).
Could someone help me in this?
Regards,
Alberto.

Dear Alberto,
You can follow below steps to achive the same.
1 You have to setup PPF framework.
A. You will be having output profile (which is for processing the actions in background) assigned to Air FWO document type.
B.Go to PPF customizing (Tcode - SPPFCADM) -> Select the Action profile -> Create Action definition ->choose the processing time as 'Processing when saving the document'-> processing type as 'Method call' -> Create the BADI implementation for definition EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF''. Here you can check if any filter before you trigger XML Message.
2.You have to create a custom Proxy and proxy class to generate the XML message and send to target system.
You will call this proxy class in BADI implementation EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF and build the XML message with required Charges data.
After all the setup is done, you can test and make sure you have XML message generated in SXI_MONITOR / SXMB_MONI t-code.
Let me know any challenges while doing it.
Thanks,
Bharath.

    Dear Experts,
I have a requirement for making material description as non mandetory in change request view of mdg material screen.
I have done that using field usage in get data method of feeder classes, but still message is displaying.
This message 'Material description is mandatory is displaying with check action only, but not with save or submit after i anhance field property as not mandetory.
How to prevent error message for material description in MDG material detail screen, when user click on check action.
    Thanks
    Sukumar

    Hello Sukumar
In IMG activity "Configure Properties of Change Request Step", you can completely deactivate the reuse area checks (but will then loose all other checks of the backend business logic as well).
You can also set the error severity of the checks from Error to Warning (per CR type, not per check).
Or you provide a default value for the material description, e.g. by implementing the BAdI USMD_RULE_SERVICE.

  • How to generate xml-file for SAP Fiori (UI add-on) with Solution Manager 7.0.1?

    Hello Guru,
could you please help with my issue with Fiori Installation.
We want to install SAP Fiori Front-End (GW+UI) on the Sandbox system with SAP Netweaver 7.3.1. (SP14)
Gateway component (SAP GW CORE 200 SP10) was installed without any problems.
But I need to install UI-add-on (NW UI Extensions v1.0) and when I try to install it via SAINT, transaction said me that I need to generate xml-file for it (as in General notes for UI add-on mentioned).
But I have Solution Manager 7.0.1 and in MOPZ for this version I do not have option  "install Add-on" as it written in Guide for ui add-on installation.
Could you please help me with advice how to generate xml-file for UI add-on installation on SolMan v.7.0.1?
If where is no way, but only to upgrade Solution Manager, maybe somebody could give me xml-file for your system (for NW 731) and I will change it to my needs, I will be very grateful!
Thanks in advance for any help!!!

  • How to write Error message for select options?

    Hi
i have this select option statement
    SELECT-OPTIONS: s_fevor FOR afko-fevor.
how to write error message for this?
    Regards
    Smitha

Error messages are displayed for Select-options mostly on two conditions:
    1) You needs to check wether a value is entered or not its done by:
    a)
    Select-options:SELECT-OPTIONS: s_fevor FOR afko-fevor Obligatory.
In this case error message is automatically throwed by system.
    b) You can do this in Selection Screen events.
    Ex:
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN./AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON S_FEVOR.
    IF S_FEVOR-LOW IS INITIAL.
    MESSAGE 'XXXXX' TYPE 'E'.
    ENDIF.
    2) You need to Validate the entered value:
You can do this in Selection Screen events.
    Ex:
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN./AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON S_FEVOR.
    SELECT FEVOR
                 FROM AFKO
                 INTO AFKO-FEVOR
                 UP TO 1 ROWS
    ENDSELECT.
    IF SY-SUBRC NE 0.
    MESSAGE 'XXXXX' TYPE 'E'.
    ENDIF.

This is the class for a JCP I created to perform the following:
    1) Launch an existing Concurrent Program that produces PDF output
    2) Grab the PDF and apply a watermark based on user input or conditions
    3) associate the modified PDF to CP output for PASTA printing
It isn't elegant but it is fairly simple. I added the email capability and tested it but am not implementing it at the present time.
there is a fair amount of information out there that explains how to create a JCP councurrent program but very little that demonstrates the class needed.
    I hope this helps

  • How to send XML Messages in XI

    Using XI 3.0, XDV
    Tcode XSMB_MONI
Display all errors, how to sent automatically in email
please tell me step by step procedure....
    Thanks

    Hi,
You have to configure alert for you requirement.
    Prerequisites
The following prerequisites have to be met in order to use the Alert Management (ALM):
    ·        For using the Alert Inbox (BSP based display program of ALM), the corresponding service has to be activated in the service maintenance transaction SICF. Choose Default_host  ®  sap  ®  bc ®  bsp ®  sap ® alert inbox, and Activate in the context menu.
    ·        For customizing or administration of the Alert Management the corresponding authorization role has to be assigned. The end users do not need any additional authorization.
    ·        The central alert server must be maintained as an RFC destination in transaction SM59 in the local system. If there is no suitable user, you have to create a user for the RFC connection in the central alert system in transaction SU01. To make this RFC destination known as the RFC destination of the Alert Management System in the local system, the central alert server must also be selected as the RFC destination in transaction SALRT1 of the local system or in Settings  ® RFC-Destination of Alert Server.
If the central alert server is running on the local system in the same client, you do not have to maintain an RFC destination. In this case, you can simply enter NONE in transaction SALRT1.
    ·        If external communication types, such as e-mail, SMS, and fax are used, these communication types must be correctly configured in SAPconnect, because the alerts are then sent from the central alert system via SAPconnect.
    Process Flow
The following describes the process flow from alert configuration (transaction ALRTCATDEF) to alert display and confirmation (for example in the alert inbox transaction ALRTINBOX):
           1.      Optional: You can define alert classifications. These are useful to group alert categories. For example, you can create an alert classification CRM that contains alert categories referring to CRM. Alert classifications can now have subclassifications. This enables you to build up your own classification hierarchy. Especially, if you use the Alert Mangement (ALM) extensively, classification and subclassification help you to organize your ALM alert landscape and to have a clear overview.
           2.      For different types of alerts you have to define different categories. The category contains various properties and other specifications that define the alerts within that category, for example expiry date, or the escalation recipient. You can define an alert category to suit your business requirements and assign the category to the corresponding classification. For example, for the alert classification CRM you can create the alert categories Contract Cancelled and Decrease in Sales. When the critical situation defined in the alert category arises, the system recognizes this and sends an alert instance of this category to the recipients determined. The alerts can always be found in the display programs configured for the recipient (UWL, application-specific program, or alert inbox). Additionally, the alerts are sent via eventual external communication channels, such as e-mail, sms, or fax.
           3.      You have to determine recipients so that the Alert Management knows who the recipients of alerts of a particular category are and that the correct parties are informed.
           4.      You can configure the way how alerts are processed. For the general use of the Alert Management you do not have to change the default settings. However, if for example you want to send alerts to third-party systems, or to be able to confirm alerts by SMS/Internet mail, or to have logs written, then you have to configure alert processing.
           5.      There is a number of Alert Management administration reports that you must schedule according to your requirements. For example, report RSALERTPROC must be executed in order to enable escalation.
           6.      Alerts of a particular category must be triggered by an application at runtime. Triggering alerts can be done in various ways. You can call a function module directly or use middleware components that trigger alerts, such as the Business Object Repository (BOR), Post Processing Framework (PPF), SAP Workflow, or CCMS.
           7.      Recipients can view the alerts assigned to them in the UWL of Enteprise Portal, in application-specific display programs, or in the alert inbox. In addition, alerts can be received as e-mail, SMS, or fax, if these external communication channels are configured in SAPconnect.
           8.      If the problem causing the alert is solved by a recipient, the recipient can confirm the alert, this means its status is changed and it will not be delivered, escalated, or displayed anymore. Alerts are generally confirmed by the recipient in the display program, such as the UWL or Alert Inbox. However, if an alert is sent by Internet mail or SMS message, it is also possible to confirm it by sending an Internet mail or SMS message back to the SAP system. Alert Management uses inbound processing for this.
    Hope this will help you.

  • How to Post XML Messages with SOAP Headers to a Trading Partner URL

    Hi All,
Greeting to the Oracle B2B Community. We are currently working on how to post a Custom XML Message with SOAP Headers to a Trading Partner URL. I would really appreciate if anybody could provide me some inputs or links to some documentation on how to achieve the above requirement. The details are below:
    1. Our Internal Application generates a Flat File (PO Extract).
    2. The Extract then needs to be transformed to an XML Message. We are planning to use BPEL to do the transformation to XML Message.
    3. Once it is transformed to an XML message it needs to be posted to the Trading Partner URL as an HTTP Post and with SOAP Headers.
We are planning to use B2B to do the posting but I am not sure on how to do the set-ups and what all parameter files in B2B needs to be updated in order to achieve the same. Also it is mandatory that we send SOAP Headers in the XML Message.
Thanks In Advance for your help.
    Regards,
    Dibya

    Hello Dibya,
As you are already doing the transformation from Flat file to XML in BPEL which is typically the capability of B2B, please use the Soap binding in BPEL to send the document to Trading partner.

<<I'm assuming there is more to your XML than you showed, since
    StudentLevel/StudentLevelCode
is not in the XML, but is in your query. >>
Yes, to simplify, I left out some of the additional XML data, which is typically present, sorry for any confusion. I should have removed those references to that data in my example which was failing to retrieve the NCESCode data which was denoted by that namespace.
Thank you very much! Your correction worked. I was not understanding until your correction how to properly reference in the XPATH for that namespace value. I'm a newbie at this, and this is my second post. But I've been able to populate quite a few relational tables and that was the first of several namespace tags I will have to deal with next, and with that help, I should be good with that syntax now.
Thanks again for your help on this.

  • Weblogic Integration : xml message for event node in a workflow

    Hello,
I have the following queries for weblogic 7.0 BPM workflows with event nodes:
    1) How does weblogic server choose that an xml message should be delivered to
what all workflow instances, as the xml event does not carry any information regarding
the workflow instance or event node?
    2) When an XML message is received, but there are no eligible consumers (workflow
instances) then what happens to the message, is it discarded?
    3) Suppose an xml message comes for an event node even before that event before
has been reached in the workflow instance, ie, the event node has not been activated
yet. Is the message persisted to be delivered for processing when the event node
gets activated or is it discarded?
    Please reply at an earliest.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
Based on your description what I felt is you are making use  of a wait step in which you have choose to wait till BUS2078 event CREATED is occured ... right.. Now can you please clear me that where and how this event will triggered.
or is it some thign like you are making use of event creator step and in this case, When ever you are making use of the eventcreator  step and a BOR object inside it make sure that specific BOR object is already instatitaed in the workflow container , if it is instantiated then only it will try to identify the instance  or the BOR and it will try to rasie the event.

  • XML message for material master records

    Hello experts
We want to implement an interface with material master records to be sent to our customers. This interface is proposed to be in XML. Can you please provide me with links or documents that explain how to integrate XML within SAP regarding master data maintenance.
I need to know how we can trigger the XML message and where to include the logic of the attributes to be sent.
    Thank you in advance,
    Alejandra

    Hi
You can do this scenario in BSP , better sit with ABAP and Portal(BSP) Consultant .
they can give much more idea about this. Using BSP you can evaluate this requirement.

  • How to read XML message present in Table using PL/SQL?

    Hi,
How to read XML content present in Table using PL/SQL .And is it possible to parse the xml uisng xslt and insert xml output in same table again ?
    Thanks!

Late reply, but hopefully better late than never.
    You can possibly do it all via a single SQL statement, such as {message:id=4232077}
XMLTable Syntax can be found at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/functions228.htm#CIHGGHFB (for 10.2 users) else find your correct version at http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/index.html
