How to update a Single App

Hello,
maybe its a stupid question, but: how is the updating process using a single app?
Until now we created auto-renewable apps with newsstand using dps folio producer
itunes connect and viewer builder. We build the issues at the in-app purchases and
use the unique product-id we specified before in folio producer. That allows apple
to find the right issue and allows updates as well, right?!?
Right now i createad a single app without in-app purchases but i can't specify or
write anywhere the product-id!? Do i have to publish the folio in folio producer,
export the hole folio, recreating the hole distribution-viewer and re-upload to
itunes connect? If we only want to update two stacks, should we update them all?
I want to repeat my self: its a stupid question, but i have no idea, sorry... I'm a rookie...

The Product ID in a single-issue app isn't important. Updating a single-issue app is fairly painless:
1. In Folio Builder/Folio Producer, edit the articles, upload them, update folio, export .zip file.
2. In Viewer Builder, edit the existing app. Specify the new .zip file. Download, sign and test .ipa file. Download and sign .zip file.
3. In iTunes Connect, create a new version for your app. Use App Loader to submit new build to Apple.
Whether you want to fix a single typo or rebuild the entire issue, the steps are the same.

To resolve this issue, I would suggest updating your iOS to the latest version, which is 7.0.3.

How to update a single field in Word macro

Hello,
I am trying to create an AutoOpen() macro that will update the file name and path when user opens in a Word document, but I can't seem to find anything explaining how to update a single field, specifically the {FILENAME \p} field. There
are other fields in the document, so I do not want to update all the fields. Most of the links I found only explain how to update ALL fields. Can somebody please tell me how I can update only the filename and path field using an autoopen macro?

I inherited my iPhone from my husband so most of the apps are under his old Apple ID/business email account but his email account is no longer accessable since he has recently retired and no longer can use his business account. I don't know how to update the 45 apps that he purchased that are still on my phone.

Since the latest iTunes update it takes hours just to update a single app. Never did that before. Why is it doing that now?

It sounds like your are correct and shuffle is turned on in iTunes. Please use the following article as a reference for turning shuffle off.

You can play music in iTunes in various ways.
Shuffle or repeat songs
Do any of the following:
Turn shuffle on or off: Click the Shuffle button. Shuffle is on when the arrows are blue.
Shuffle albums or groupings: Choose Controls > Turn On Shuffle > “by Albums” (or “by Groupings”). iTunes plays the songs in the order in which they appear on the album or in the grouping, and then chooses another album or grouping at random.

How to update third party apps.

I recently received a message that I could update the Blackberry App world and I followed the update procedure and everything went well with the update. In the process of doing the update a list of applications that are waiting for updates was displayed. I would like to do these updates to but I cannot get to the list again. I have googled and tried this forum and the built in help but no luck. Please let me know where I can locate this list to do my updates. Thanks.

It's been a couple of weeks since you posted, and I do hope you already found the answer. But, just in case, here are my thoughts.
The list you see is inside of AppWorld...launch it and then go into MyWorld. That will have your list of apps, from which you can then perform the desired updates. If, however, it's not showing the updates pending anymore, then I suggest that you clear the AppWorld application cache:
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3. Follow one (and only one!) of these steps:
3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and then press, in sequence R, then S, then T
3b. For Touch Screen Only BBs -- Hold the num-lock (!?123) button so it locks and then press, in sequence 3, then 4, then (
3c. For newer (e,g., OS6 and 7) BB's, see this KB:

4. AppWorld should close.
5. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot
6. Return to AppWorld (it may be sluggish while it re-synchronizes). Log into MyWorld (if applicable -- it will require both your BB ID username and password this time; it will not remember your BB ID username after a clear cache) and try again.
If step (4) and or (6) do not happen as listed, then the clear cache did not work.

How to update previously bought apps from other country?

I currently changed my region from Brazil to US and everything seemed good in Itunes and Ipod. Now I have a mix of apps from my older and latest region and Itunes keep showing me 28 new updates, but when I try to update them it say that no updates are currently available for my account. I'm be able to identify what the region for each app. I've seen in another discussion here that I no longer receive app update notifications for apps purchased in my older region. So, my doubt is how is it possible to get this notifications about 28 updates in my Itunes!? The unique different think I did in the last days was update my Itunes to 11 version. Please I ask for some help to figure out this issue. Thank you very much.

iTunes Store content is country specific. When you change countries, you no longer receive app update notifications on your iOS device or in iTunes for the apps you purchased in your original country, nor do those Apps appear on your new country's Purchased page.
However, you will still be able to download those applications again for free if they are present on your new country's store (even if they are updated).You will not be charged and the download will not appear on your Purchased page. If a previously purchased app is not available in your new country, you will not be able to download it again.

With regards to changing the country associated with your account back to what it was before, you will need to deplete the remaining store credit on your account first.
You can use your remaining store credit by purchasing an item, and paying the extra amount using a valid US credit card, debit card, or PayPal account.
I you don't have an alternate payment method you can provide, then you will need to contact iTunes Store Customer Support via http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

How to update an win8 app without uninstall it?

Hello everybody!
I need to deploy an update of an app in my company using the sideloading mechanism and sccm 2012.
If I choose Supersedance, select the installed app version and check the uninstall option, the app is installed, but unfortunately all permissions need to be re-authorized by the user.
If I don't select the uninstall option, the deployment fails saying package with same identity is already installed..
How can I update my enterprise app, keeping the registered permissions by using sccm?

How to Update Android Enterprise APP without any prompt or click?

I have an app running on Samsung Android Devices
I have two version 103 and 110
I can deploy and install without any prompt or click version 103 by using Application policy. I just Selecten "required"
Then I have to updta this app from 103 to 110.
In able to do this, I change apk file in application policy.
But, In afaria client, I see that version 110 is shown in update tab. And waiting for tap to update.
I want to update automatically update 103 to 110.
How?
Maybe first of all I have to run Samsung configuration policy to uninstall 103 and then run application policy to install 110.
But this is complicated.
What I've done?
I run Application policy to install 103.
Then I change apk file 103 to 110 in application policy.
Then create a session to send 110.apk file to device.
Then run configuration polict to update from 103 to 110 from defined file location on devices. (storage/sdcard0/110.apk)
I know it is more complicated.
Is there any simple method?
