How to update existing data of specific UDF at UDT?

Hi Experts,
I have a UDT with one of the UDF, status. I would like to update the udf, status of the document after i converted it to other documents. So tat I can filter out the selection at the query data. How can i do tat?

How to update cgicmd.dat file during runtime?

I'd like to know how do update cgicmd.dat file during runtime. For example, I run a report one.jsp as
http://<machine>:<port>/reports/rwservlet?one.jsp&USERID=uid/pwd@db&DESTYPE=cache&mode=bitmap&desformat=htmlcss
within this report there is a hyperlink to open another report named two.jsp.
before creating this hyperlink, I'd like to update cgicmd.dat file with passed in userID, pwd, and connection, so two.jsp can use this key for userinfo
so I can create hyperlink as follows

To my knowledge the cgicmd.dat is only read when the OC4J starts, so you would have to come up with another solution. Using Single-Sign-On (SSO) is quite a good idea, and it's there for cases like this.

if you do a "where used" search of the table CKMLMV013 you will see that it is updated in several places:
e.g. fm CKML_ORDER_CONNECTION_UPDATE
Have a look at those places where the table is updated.

Hi,
The scenario you are explaining is little opposite to what happens generally. Are you sure, you want to update R/3 from BW?
If you have to update MARC table that means you have to extend the material for different plants. Try using BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVE_DATA.

zfm_kfz is maintained by using table maintenance generator as well as alv grid control for list display.

to Transfer Data From ODS to Info cube.

0RECORDMODE are auto generated infoobjects which are requried to be mapped if you are going for a delta update from your DSO otherwise you can proceed further without mapping the 0RECORDMODE and neglect the system generated warning
check this for the <b>Creation of data targets</b>
     In left panel select info provider
     Select created info area and right click to create ODS( Data store object ) or Cube.
     Specify name fro the ODS or cube and click create
     From the template window select the required characteristics and key figures and drag and drop it into the DATA FIELD and KEY FIELDS
     Click Activate.
     Right click on ODS or Cube and select create transformation.
     In source of transformation , select object type( data source) and specify its name and source system Note: Source system will be a temporary folder or package into which data is getting stored
     Activate created transformation
     Create Data transfer process (DTP) by right clicking the master data attributes
     In extraction tab specify extraction mode ( full)
     In update tab specify error handling ( request green)
     Activate DTP and in execute tab click execute button to load data in data targets.

    Default Billto Address : with Address name 'David Dashu'
    Default Shipto Address : with Address name 'David Dashu'
                Shipto Address : with Address name 'Abc'
                Shipto Address : with Address name 'efgh'
when i update BP then it shows a error 'This entry already exist'
this error for SAP does not support dupbicate address name
but how to chk dublicate addressname
plz help me how to update address in BP ?

Hi Surojit......
Please be sure that you are not giving the same Address Code to the same BP Under the same Shitp To Address code or Bill To address Code....
If you put same for another address also it will give already exsist error.....

I'm new to ABAP HR Module and have problem to update Education Data in ABAP HR.

Hi Suniel ,
Education data in HR is held in infotype 22.
Go to PA30, enter the employee number & maintain 22 infotype (with respective subtype i.e. high school, university, etc..)
