How to update the business partner title using the function module

Hi ,
I have to update the business partner title to Mr or Ms based on the gender.
If BP is male title should be updated as Mr else Ms.
Please provide some inputs on which function module to use to do it in mass update.I have to search the BP's whose title is not created and i have to change those titles to Mr or Ms.

Try with BBP_USER_CHANGE_FIELDS :
- set CHANGE_FORM_OF_ADDRESS,
- put corresponding key you want (see TSAD3 table) in FORM_OF_ADDRESS_KEY.

Yes, this feature also works in 4.7. What has happened is that in ECC 6.0 the BP functinality has been totally redefined with a lot of automations. As such, if properly configured then in ECC 6.0 there is no practical use of the FLBPD/FLBPC Tcodes. However, in 4.7, both these traqnsactions should be working fine. The SAP ntes that I have mentioned are however only for ECC 6.0.

Update the custom table by using Custom Function module.

Hi Experts,
        My requirement is ,
1) To create the Custom Z table with fields
           vbak-vbeln
           likp-vbeln
           vbuk-vbeln
After creating this Z table.
2) I have to create one custom function module.
    Based on this function module i have to update that Z table.
3) Before these steps i have to write down an ALV report based on the tables vbak and vbeln, in that table i have to print vbak-vbeln. and also in report i generated check box and one custom button in application toolbar. after the report will displayed , when ever i click the button in application tollbar , this function module will executed and the table will be updated.
    But I developed the ALV report with custom button and check box successfully.
My doubt is how to write the function module and based on that function module how to update the table.
      Please suggest me on this requirement.

How to update other infotype from source infotype via function module?

Want in source infotype to call a func.module, which shall update other infotype(s) in background.
Have tried out with HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION, but without success - gives mitchmatch of source it and target it in the internal it buffer tables.
How to do?
Requirements also are to secure rollback, if update of the last of ex. 3 target its fails.
Anyone has experience on this issue?

Know this functionality - also by means of own coding in the PAI by filling the int. tables dynmeas + initial_values. However the issue remains, i.e. the update has to be done by a function module called from PAI of own infotype, and from a function module you can't trigger the T588Z-functionality.
The update of it0003 from own it9300 is only an example, have general requirements that:
- from own infotype PAI a function module shall be called
- from the function module update of other infotypes
shall take place (modify as well as insert and delete)
- if more infotypes shall be updated from source infotype,
rollback shall take place if ex. update of last target
infotype fails (all to be updated or none!).

when I look at the function you can transfer the partner in NOTIFPARTNR table.
You must already have defined the appropiate partnerroll in customizing for you're businesspartner
or do you have another problem with this function ?

Business partner migration using lsmw direct load .

Hi,
We need to do business partner migration using the direct load method.
We are thinking of using direct input method of lsmw for the data transfer.
Could someone suggest a proper object/ subobject for the same.
Alternatively has anyone done the same using LSMWbapi or LSMWidocs.

Enhancement of Business Partner (Relationships) using BDT -Bus Data Toolset

Dear Experts,
I have a requirement from my customer enhancing the Business Partner Relationships using BDT.
I should add 2 fields namely salary, employer start date in the Business partner Relationships, it must be added in the characteristics of relationships as one employee can have multiple employers and vice versa.
If I would like to add the fields in Business Relationships using BDT, are the steps same as adding fields in business partner? or do we need to perform any other steps? Did someone already did this type of modification, please provide your suggestions.
After adding the fields is it possible to cusomize the fields for history of the changes? e.g. if salary field has been newly added and after creating a BP after some days I want to change the salary and for the changed salary I want to have a history.
I would appreciate if you can help me with your suggestions.

Hi,
Business partner is identified with object type "BP". Table BUT000 stores the business partner information. You can see the Business partner attributes using Transaction code BP using the object I.D.
Business partner object is not associated with Personnel area or Sub area directly.
Instead you can find the association of Person (Object P) with Central Person (Object CP) in HRP1001 and you can find association of Object CP with Object BP - Business partner.
Alternatively, the below functional module is used to determine Determine Employee No. for Business Partner Number
BAPI_BUPA_GET_EMPLOYEE_FROM_BP

Urgently, how to use the EEWB to ad new field in the business partner page

I am working on CRM 5.0 EEWB
I am trying to add new field in the business partner page I followed the steps for creating the project and the extension but I faced some problems
1-I chose the package BBP_BUPA_MAIN BBP Business Partner General
I created two transport requests for the workbench and the customizing
2- I created an extension with EEW Bus. Object: BUPA and extension type: ADD_NEW_FIELDS
3- I got an error that <b>"Object DOMA ZBU_009XN27S is in the name range reserved for customers. The object cannot be assigned to package BBP_BUPA_MAIN, since it belongs to a different name range or namespace"</b>
I tried to change the package but the same problem occurs and if I choose a custom made business package I get a similar error but, before the wizard starts
I want to know the exact steps to create new field using the EEWB

Clearly states that you need to assign some different name to the package which is not reserved by SAP as Z### is already reserved by SAP and thus you will not be able to create the enhancement in the same.

I need to remove Business Partner Addresses using DI Server, the example in the SDK only mentions the remove of the entire business partner, but I need to delete only one of the business partner addresses, how can it be done?

Hi,
the usage of the "UpdateWithSubDeletion" method of B1 object atom might be an option.
You need to update the complete business Partner with the changed amount of addresses.
The usage is tricky, you need to retrieve the BP, which you want to update, first via synchronous retrieval method using import/export mode.
From the retrieval result you should start to update every segment with all fields including the BPAddresses segment in exactly the same sorting order as displayed from the synchronous retrieval.
