How to use acquired values for different treatments with NI 9188 cDAQ

hi guys, I am trying to use NI DAQ 9188 chasis with 9214 temperature measurement module. I wired 3 modules to the module and split signals. But I am not sure that I can these values into functions vis easily. I am trying to convert them into 1D array, but when I converted to the 1D array I can not see the values and use separetely from each other. For example, I want to multiply just the first value taken from 1st thermocouple. how could I do this. Additionally, the signals in the waveform chart 1 is not smooth. what is the reason of this? thanks in advance.

Hi newbieeng,
It sounds like what you want to use is the Index Array function. You should use the Convert From Dynamic Data function on the signal coming from the DAQ Assistant and then use the Index Array function to access the apropriate data on which you would like to operate. Please refer to the help documentation for more information on the Index Array function. As far as smoothening the signal, try adjusting the properties of the graph, such as Autoscale X and some others in the Properties window.

How to Set default value for taxonomywebtagging control with terms and nested terms

Hi,
I have created taxonomy control in custom aspx page and I am able to select terms but I am trying to setup default value to that control.
Can anybody let me know how to set the default value for TaxonomyWebTagging control in custom.aspx page with nested terms?

I have a test in my environment. It could be achieved by setting the Text Property of TaxonomyWebTaggingControl.

How can I manage playlists for different users with home sharing?

I have two teenagers with no taste in music, my wife who appreciates Abba my own music to manage across a fleet of devices. My kids dont like Ozarks or Pink Floyd, and I would rather skin myself with a cheese grater than have One direction on my phone. Does home sharing allow for different devices to sync different playlists??? And furthermore is the icloud Match thing worth the trouble???

After researching through the forums, I figured it out. You have to make sure you are logged in under the same account on both computers. At first I was logged under my account on my computer and logged in under my father's account on my father's computer. You have to choose one account to log in under on both computers and then you will be abler to import songs from both computers. If you do not log in under the same account, you will be able to listen to both computers' music, but not import.

Why don't you try:
1. Bpel references
You can select a BPEL reference property in your composite.xml and use it within your bpel process. This is explained here:

Then you can create a deployment configuration plan. Right-click on the composite file and generate a deployment configuration plan for your composite. This should create a search/replace construction for your preference.
2. DVM (Data Value Maps)
You can populate the address by using dvm lookup function. Create a DVM file with two columns, one to specify the Address/URL and populate the other column with the actual value. Use the address as your unique lookup criteria to retrieve the value. This value can be configured per environment.

If you want to give either Z4 or FW depending on a Logic, you can use ABAP or Formula Builder.
Ofcourse you cannot give FiscVariant = 'Z4FW' because thats not a valid value.

How to use smb share for home directory with AD account

I have extended the schema of our AD and bound a macbook pro running 10.6.8 to the domain. AD users are able to logon, and if I select the option to use their AD homedirectory attribute then this smb share is used as a network drive. My question is though, I need users to logon to MAC using a different smb share for their home drive than the path set in the home directory attribute. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

Like you said, first you list all the files in the folder.
For each file, use a BufferedReader to read the first lines, then you may use a StringBuffer to append the lines into it (don't forget to append the '\n' to each line).
Finally, compile your pattern ( "^November.*\nDecember" ) with the DOTALL flag,
verify that the string (from StringBuffer) matches the pattern and there you have it!

How to use different default parameter value for different report subscriptions

In ssrs is it possible to define different default parameter values for different subscriptions? In the following example I have a report which has two subscriptions with different start date and end date values:
Report name – Testsubscription.rdl
Subscription-1
Input parameter (default values):
start_date = first day of current Month
end_date = till date
Subscription-2
Input parameter (default values):
start_date = first day of current Quarter
end_date = till date
I know an alternative way of doing this would be to copy the rdl file with a different name but I am curious whether this can be done within a single report definition file. I am using SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition.

As per my understanding, there is a report with two parameter: start_date and end_date, you want to configure subscription for the report, and set different default values for start date and end date. And you want to know if it is possible to achieve you
goal by using a single report definition file.
Since you are using SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition, we need to achieve your goal by configuring two subscriptions for the report. For detail information, please refer to the following steps:
1. In design surface, right click start_date and open Parameter Properties dialog box.
2. In General pane, type Name and Prompt, set Data Type to Date/Time.
3. Click Available Values in left pane, select Specify Values.
4. Click Add button, in Label text box, type “First day of Current Month”, click (fx) button in Value section, then type the expression like below:
=DateSerial(Year(Now()), Month(Now()), 1)
5. Click Add button, in Label text box, type “First day of Current Quarter”, click (fx) button in Value section, then type the expression like below, then click OK.
=DateSerial(Year(Now()), (3*DatePart("q",Now()))-2, 1)
6. Right click end_date and open Parameter Properties dialog box.
7. In Available Values pane, select Specify Values.

Now that the parameters are created, we need to configure subscription for the report. For detail information, please follow these steps:
1. Open Report Manager, and locate the report for which you want to create a new subscription.

4. Select the Subscriptions tab, and then click New Subscription.
5. Select the delivery extension and data source for the subscription.
6. Select a method of delivery, then choose report delivery options.
7. Specify conditions that cause the subscription to process and delivery to occur.
8. Set start_date to First day of Current Month, end_date to Today, then click OK.
9. Create a new subscription as step4 to 7, set start_date to First day of Current Quarter, end_date to Today, then click OK.

first convert the quantity in the same unit ( like in you case ST to PC ) by using FM :    MD_CONVERT_MATERIAL_UNIT

bcoz in ur program somewhere the quantities etc are compared and there units may be different... so that is why it is showing such error. so just convert convert the quantity in the same unit .

I am using drawPixels method of DirectGraphics class the code I have written is :-

The above code is working fine with NOKIA 60 series device but when i use it with NOKIA 40 series device it gives java.lang.IllegalArgumentException.
same time if i use :-
directgraphics.drawPixels(imgData,false,0,width,0,0,width,height,0,DirectGraphics .TYPE_USHORT_4444_ARGB ) ;
// imgData is a short array(short imgData[]) which contains required pixels of image. i have used different formet here.
it works fine with 40 series device,
can any one suggest me how to use drawPixels method for 40 series devices with format
DirectGraphics .TYPE_INT_8888_ARGB .

I am using 2 popup in a view.same popup's having same buttons 'Yes', 'No'.when i use 1st one i have to create an action for that Yes button where i put my code for that particular Action.
But when i used 2nd one the action define for that is not acceptable with differ name.it takes only standard one.
Now my Query is : How to use same actions for differ pop-up buttons with in a similar view?Where i put my code.

Take one integer value attribute in the context of view
when you r performing action on POP1 set it's value to 1
when you r performing action on POP2 set it's value to 2
create one method which receives integer argument, say diaplay(int a)
In the action call display(wdContext.currentContextElement().get<intvariable>()) by passing the value in the context attribute
in display() method, Check the value of integer variable..
if it is 1 then perform action related to POP1
if it is 2 then perform action related to POP2

Can some one help me to understand how to use table valued function in OBIEE? I want to use a table valued function (MSSQL function, with some input parameter), in the physical layer to pull the data?
I know for MSSQL Stored Procedure we can write as
EXEC SP_NAME @Parameter = 'VLUEOF(NQ_SESSION.Variablename)'
but now I have a table valued function in the query window I can get the data as
select * from myfunction(parametervalue)
In physical layer of OBIEE I have tried as
select * from myfunction('VLUEOF(NQ_SESSION.Variablename)'), but I'm getting error as the NQ_SESSION variable doesn't have a value , but actually I have initialized the variable but still Im getting error.
Can some one help me to solve this.

How to call hr_location_api.create_location for different address style with only those fields that belongs specific to that address style. It should decide at run time means at run time it will come to know the type of address style and based on that only the fields which belong to address details mapped to calling hr_location_api.create_location.

You can create a wrapper package on top of the API (hr_location_api.create_location)
In the wrapper package you set all the values dynamically based on your requirements(say the style and add_line columns are populated on your conditions) and then you call the API.
Does that not work ?
