How to use an array for variable name of swing components using NetBeans

I'm completely new to Java and GUIs, so excuse me if I use the wrong terminology. I'm making a JFrameFrom in NetBeans. I'm getting really tired of typing instructions like jTextField15.setText(variable[15].text); I would like to make the variable names of my text fields an array so I can use a loop to change the values, text, tooltips, etc. When I click "change variable name" it won't let me put an array in. The code that Swing generates is protected and I can't change it. I know there must be a way to do this. Any help is appreciated.

Try not to use the NetBeans visual GUI builder. Then it should be easy to create an array of text fields:
JTextField[] tfs = new JTextField[15];
for (int i = 0; i < tfs.length; i++) {
tfs[i] = new JTextField(10);

I have just started java programming. I have one form (using jframe) and there are nos. of components like text field, radio buttons, list box, buttons etc.).
I want to know nos. and type of components (text field, radio buttons, button etc..) and variable name of these components ?
Is there any way class / method or technique for the same ?

Since if you are dealing strictly swing here, and no mixed in awt, all you have is JComponents, then where's the problem ... why do you even need to know which JComponent it is?

I would like to add that Comcast is my internet provider. Perhaps that is part of the issue although the Connection Doctor confirms the mail box is connecting to the internet. No other function processes when Connection Doctor program is used to find the source of the issue. I have read forum posts but am unable to find a way to get my Apple mail to be delivered to my computer. It worked fine up until I chose to transfer mail to the Cloud. My mail account is a .mac account.
Still hoping someone out there can help me.

There is no automatic way to do this in JDeveloper. I know there are some Oracle Partners offering forms to java conversion, I don't know how much of their tools are automated and done with JDeveloper. With JDeveloper+ADF you basically rewriting the Forms application from scratch (and using ADF is helpful during this process).

It would be a good idea to do close down all programs and do a permissions repair. Use the Utilities/Disk Utility application on your Mac hard drive and follow the on screen directions.
After that, with iMovie closed trash the file com.apple.iMovie.plist file located in User/Library/Preferences. iMovie will create a new file on relaunch.
If you are storing your project on an external hard drive, make sure that your external hard drive is formatted for Apple. Should be Mac OS extended. If you reformat, first remove all of your data on the external drive to another drive, because reformatting will erase all data on the drive.
Update all of your iLife programs to current, particularly Quicktime.
Finally, make sure that you have enough free disk space on your startup drive--at least 10GB, and more is better.

I need to use phonetic characters in cursors names. Does somebody know wich font I have to use for this ?
One other problem is that I need to use Vietnamese characters at the same time. Is it possible to change the font of the cursors names run-time (in the diagram)?
Last quetion: Does LabVIEW support unicode? If yes,how can I use it?

Unfortunately, I don't know what the phonetic characters look like, so I
can't
tell you what to type to enter them. If you find them in Word,
you should be able to copy them to the clipboard, they will be in
Unicode, and paste them into LV -- where they will be converted to dual
byte. If it doesn't work, try to find out if they are exist in the
locale of your machine, or more importantly, the target machine.
If you can display them, you can build a simple ring with short strings
containing the phonetic characters. When the user picks something from
the ring, use the strings property and value to index out the string and
replace/append to the string the user is editing. You will want to pay
attention to the string's selection if this is supposed to act like a
character palette and either do an insert or replace.
If you want a more compact grid menu, you will need to convert the
strings to images and paste them in a pict menu. That value can be used
to index a constant array that matches the order in the pict ring.

For example, I have one variable "Currency" for two different queries, and I need that all of these queries (in separate iViews) would use the value of currency was put by user in the first iView with only one input.
How can I do this task? Is it possible at all?

Have a look at the APEX views ( Utilities > APEX Views ).
You can select most (all?) of the information associated with a page and then search the result set(s) for the variables you are looking for.

An array is being used to represent an organizational hierarchy. This is done by using the array subscript to map to the employee-id and the value in each element to represent the employee-id of the supervisor of the employee.
For example the first element in the array maps to the supervisor of employee-id 1, the second element maps to the supervisor of employee id 2. The corresponding value for the top person in the organization is set to -1.
For example the following array ?

translates to the following hierarchical structure -

? employees 2, 7, and 10 report to employee 5
? employees 8 and 9 report to employee 2
