How to use an internal table of a calling program in to a called program

Hi Experts,
            I am calling a report in another report through SUBMIT .
          I want to use the internal table of calling prog into
         called   prog but problem is i have to do it without exporting to memory id and importing it.
Plz provide me any soln..

I am having a dynamic internal table & want to use FOR ALL ENTRIES(FAE) using this dyn. table.
This works fine for me:

SAP documentation says:
"The logical expression sql_cond of the WHERE condition can be comprised of several logical expressions using AND and OR. However, if FOR ALL ENTRIES is specified, there must be at least one comparison with a column of the internal table itab that can be specified statically or dynamically. "
How do we specify the column of the internal table dynamically ? Can we do something like this:
IF <lt_tmp> IS NOT INITIAL. "<lt_tmp> is my dyn. internal table
        SELECT field1 field2
          FROM TABLE

          FOR ALL ENTRIES IN <lt_tmp>

What i meant was something like this:

      key_field2 = ('<LT_TMP-COL2>')
I am confused by what SAP means with "dynamic representation of internal table columns" in FAE ?
@Rob: I was referring to SAPNW 7.0 documentation & the phrase (release 6.40 & higher) is missing. Anyways fyi i am on ECC5.0 ABAP release 6.40.

How to use dynamic internal table when using gui_upload?

Hi Experts,
my scenario is like i have header data, item data and serial numbers.
so with respect to the quantity in unit of measure ,there will be number of serial numbers..
i have declared the dynamic internal table,but i am not getting the logic to change the structure accordingly with respect to the flat file entries..
is it possible to do or its not possible....any suggestion!!!!i have declared like this....

There are at least two approaches you can use to change/generate new dynamic-structured table. Either with [RTTI + RTTS|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/Snippets/CreatingFlatandComplexInternalTablesDynamicallyusingRTTI] or using [CL_ALV_TABLE_CREATE|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/advancedsearch?query=cl_alv_table_create] . In this one just determine fieldcatalog of current table and change it accordingly, then regenarate table.
There are plenty of examples in SCN for this. You should not face difficulties applying this.

OLIST will contain the report output that you have executed but you need to tweak this internal table so that it can be used for further processing.The current example will get you MB51 output into OLIST,so change the program name to your program name at the SUBMIT statement and then try.

How to populate field catalogue fields in ALV using dynamic internal table

Please let me know how to populate field catalogue fields in ALV using dynamic internal table.
I have created <dyn_table> using code below.

In my ALV report I am getting the final layout properly but I am unable to move values to corresponding fields in the final layout shown.Please let me know how to populate these fields from different tables.

In the smartform under the Form Interface->Tables tab
I had defined
LT_PRDLBL LIKE ZPRDLBL. If I define TYPE instead of LIKE I get the error message saying "FLAT TYPES may only be referenced using LIKE for table parameters".
In the main window I have created LOOP, in which I have ticked the internal table and
LT_PRDLBL INTO LT_PRDLBL. In the text node I am passing the values of this internal table
&LT_PRDLBL-XXXX&.
I am able to get the print but the data is not printing.
Please help me with this.

How to transfer data from internal table to table control wihtout using select statement?

The commands in the flow logic are:
LOOP AT itab [INTO wa] WITH CONTROL ctrl.
ENDLOOP.
This statement assigns an internal table itab of the ABAP program to the table control and triggers a parallel loop run over the table control rows displayed on the screen and over the internal table itab. The additions INTO and WITH CONTROL are possible at the time of PBO, but not at PAI. The assignment of the loop to the table control takes place at PAI through the internal table.
Using the INTO addition, the fields of the internal table itab are written to the work area wa at the time of PBO and the content of wa is transported, line by line, to the identically-named fields of the table control on the screen. Without the INTO addition, you must use an internal table with a header line. Then the content of the header line is transported line by line to the identically-named fields of the table control on the screen at the time of PBO. No module is required for filling the table control rows.
Conversely, at the time of PAI, the internal table rows are not automatically filled with the contents of the table control rows. Instead, you must call a dialog module within the loop that modifies the table.

parameters: p_tabnm like dd03l-tabname.
field-symbols: <fs_tabname> type standard table.
data: itab_ref type ref to data.
create data itab_ref type standard table of (p_tabnm)
                     with default key.
assign itab_ref->* to <fs_tabname>.
select * from (p_tabnm) into table <fs_tabname>.
perform subroutine tables <fs_tabname>
                   using p_tabnm.
*&      Form subroutine
      text
     -->P_<FS_TABNAME> text
     -->P_P_TABNM text
form subroutine tables   p_tabname type standard table
                 using    p_tabnm.
Here p_tabname already has the structure of the table you gave as input
parameter

How to pass an internal table to "submit job"

Dear Expert,
I use open_job & close_job to submit a background job.
A text file is to be uploaded from local drive.
Since we cant perform upload during the background,
I will have to upload the file from local drive in foreground, and then submit to the background job.
I tried to use Export [internal table] to memory and Import from the background job, it doesnt work.
How can I do this ??

you can do this using the open dataset...
i think it is the best one..
open dataset p_file for input in text mode encoding default .
loop at p_file.
output0(10) = p_file0(10).
output10(20) = p_file20(10).
output30(10). = p_file30(10).
output40(10). = p_file40(10).
endloop.
close p_file.

How to define an internal table which have to be dynamic

Hallo,
here's a problem that i have to solve (but how ?).
I defined an internal Table with 2 columns:
col1: tablename
col2: fieldname
This table is filled with an unknown number of datasets like this:
dataset1: A001 KAPPL
dataset2: A001 KNUMH
dataset3: A903 KUNNR and so on.
I don't know which tablenames and fieldnames are contained.
Now i have to read those fields (e.g. KAPPL) from those tables (e.g. A001) into an internal table.
But i don't know how to define this internal table.
Could anyone help me please ?

w_tabname TYPE w_tabname,
w_dref TYPE REF TO data,
table_name TYPE tadir-obj_name.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <t_itab> TYPE ANY TABLE.
READ YOUR INTERNAL TABLE (DATA SET) AND GET THE TABLE NAME,
AND PASS IT TO W_TABNAME.
w_tabname = A001.
CREATE DATA w_dref TYPE TABLE OF (w_tabname).
ASSIGN w_dref->* TO <t_itab>.
Now use <t_itab> as your internal table to fetch data .
<t_itab> will have the structure of A001.
SELECT *
FROM (w_tabname) UP TO 10 ROWS
INTO TABLE <t_itab>.

BADI cant use an internal table with header line

In BADI, we cant use an internal table with header line, and I am calling a function module which requires internal table as import parameter, now, the table I am passing is without a header line, So how to solve this problem ?

You can use a type and then create an internal table of that type.
types :
begin of t_<example>
*field list
end of t_<example>
data :
gt_<table> type standard table of t_<example>
pass this to the FM

you can use<b> Insert Or Modify statement ..</b>
<b>Modify updates the existing record, insert creates a new one. ...</b>
insert ZDBTAB from table itab.
Modify ZDBTAB from table Itab.
The structure of itab should be exactly the same as the z table.
You should not update standard tables directly though.

How can i check in the code whether the internal table exist or not ?

In Horst Keller's blog /people/horst.keller/blog/2005/05/27/abap-geek-10--everything-functions-150-but-how my issue is talked about :
All other parameters are handled in a way as they were declared as global data objects in the top include of the function group, that can be used only during the execution of the function module: They are visible throughout the function group but you can access them only while the function module is active. If you access such a parameter and the respective function module is not executed, you get the runtime error GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED (Why? Well, technically thos guys are represented via field symbols which are valid only during the runtime of the function module).
The code is in SD pricing. Sometimes the code is called from function module PRICING_BUILD_XKOMV or PRICING_SUBSCREEN_PBO where TKOMV is defined as globalized parameter.
And sometimes it is called from function module PRCING_CHECK where TKOMV is NOT defined as parameter.
In the call of last function the dump occures on the ASSIGN statement :
     data: ls_tkomv like line of tkomv,
              lv_tablename(30) type c value 'TKOMV[]'.
    field-symbols: <lfs> type any table.
     assign (lv_tablename) to <lfs>.
     if <lfs> is assigned.
Any suggestions to solve the issue ?
