How to use array of Point Class

I use Point class as array. I already create that. However I can't access to setLocation.
Ex.
Point myPoint[] = new Point[10];
myPoint[0].setLocation(10, 2);
It has a error.
Please Explain me.

Using javascript is against the standard. I can tell you a workaround instead of you setting the javascript, check if that would be acceptable.
You can use PPR and set the required property on the messageTextInput on clicking of the radio button. By doing this you will let UIX generate the javascript for you to handle the client side validation. But the validation will happen only on click of the submit button. The visual indicator is good enough to tell that the value has to be entered to the item.

How to use array as parameter in procedure

I am using Oracle SQL Developer 1.5.5
I wanted to write a procedure which does insert into table.
It should take 2 parameters.How to take array as parameter?
One is a array of strings ('abc','def','erg') and another is a varchar ('abc').
How to do this?

I want to write a procedure which will be called from a java file.
The parameter to that procedure will be a arr(array of strings) and username(varchar).
I want to insert that data into a tableA.
like if parameters are
(abc01,edfg02,efg03) as arr and honey as username
then it should insert 3 rows to the tableA
abc01 honey
edfg02 honey
efg03 honey

How to use array or type in "IN" criteria

anybody knows how to use group of same datatype data ( array or type ) in SQL statement
For example
ls_dept[1] = 'abc';
ls_dept[2] = 'xyz';
ls_dept[10] = 'ppr';
i want to use this group of data in "IN" criteria like
Select * from department where dept in ('abc','xyz'.....''ppr');

I hope you are not suggesting concatenating literals from a web front-end application ;) Is it not what he was saying.. he is getting user input info from an application.. if the user sends multiple values.. he has to build a string with concatenating literals..

Call library function node with array of clusters using array data pointer

Hello all.
I am writing a LabVIEW wrapper for an existing DLL function.
The function has, as one of its parameters, an array of structs. The struct is very simple, containing two integers. I am using the call library function node to access it.
In Labview I created an array of clusters, where the cluster has two 32-bit integers as its members. So far, so good.
Now I have to pass this in to the Call Library Function Node. Here I am running into trouble.
I have used The topic in LAVA and The topic in the knowledge base as my primary sources of information, though I have read a bunch of forum topics on the subject too.
I do understand that I could write a new function which takes as a parameter a struct with the size as the first member and an array as the second, and I might just do this and have it call the regular function, but I was hoping to do it more simply.
According to the C file which LabVIEW generates for me from the CLFN when I choose "Adapt to Type" and "Array Data Pointer", the prototype it is expecting is:

And the prototype of the function in my DLL is

This looks like a match to me, but it doesn't work (I get garbage in data). From the topic in LAVA referenced above, I understood that it would work. It does not.
If I cast data to the pointer-to-pointer I get when I generate c code by wiring my struct to a CIN and generating, then I seem to get what I expect. But this seems to work when I choose "pointers to handles" too, and I would expect array data pointer to give a different result.
Is there any way to get this to work directly, or will I have to create a wrapper? (I am currently using LabVIEW 2011, but we have customers using 2009 and 2012, if not other versions as well).

As to the DLL function, it is a bit more complicated than I explained above, in the current case. My VI calls the function by this name in one DLL, and that DLL loads a DLL and calls a function (with the same name) in the second DLL, which does the work. (Thanks Rolfk, for helping me with that one some time back!)

As you can see, I added a temporary diagnostic with the structures that were created in the "Handles by value" case, and print out the data. I see what is expected, whichever of the options I pick in the CLN!
I understood (from the information in the two links I mentioned in my original post, and from the name of the option itself) that "array data pointer" should pass the array of data itself, without the dimSize field. But that does not seem to be what is happening.

I have used
submit program.....
but in update task i have used it.
"Z_SD_ORDER_UPDATE".    program is a print driver program.
However error says:
There is probably an error in the program
"Z_SD_ORDER_UPDATE".
This program is triggered in the update task. There, the
following ABAP/4 statements are not allowed:
- CALL SCREEN
- CALL DIALOG
- CALL TRANSACTION
- SUBMIT
I used submit as:
WAIT UP TO 2 SECONDS.
SUBMIT rsconn01 WITH mode = 'INT'
                  WITH output = ' '
                AND RETURN.
Instead of submit i want to use commit work but i also get a dump after commit work too.
How can i use commit work in above code?

1st) There aren't unsigned primitives in Java, all primitives are signed.
2nd) The loop in previous message will read an entire line filling the buffer without length contraints. If there are n^z then it will read n^z "chars". This is is for text but I know there is a special one as you need, for bytes (primitive byte). You can also retrieve the bytes from stream:
data = new byte[dim];
inp.read(data);
I'm not sure about, there are a lot of methods and classes.
You pretend to read from stream and fill the contents of RomBanks array with length 32768L ok ?
Read the entire line and retrieve bytes.
Since you are a C programmer will be easy to understand Java.

How to Use Pattern and Matcher class.

I am just trying to use Pattern and Matcher classes for my requirement.
My requirement is :- It should allow the numbers from 1-7 followed by a comma(,) again followed by the numbers from
1-7. For example:- 1,2,3,4,5 or 3,6,1 or 7,1,3 something like that.
But it should not allow 0,8 and 9. And also it should not allow any Alphabets and special characters except comma(,).
I have written some thing like..
Pattern p = Pattern.compile("([1-7])+([\\,])?([1-7])?");
Is there any problem with this pattern ??

The only function that come close to an array in JavaScript is Choose(),
This first parameter selects the nth value of the following comma separated strings.

You can certainly use a StringTokenizer to parse your date into three numbers but I think you should use SimpleDateFormat, which will even help you generate your desired format: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/docs/api/java/text/SimpleDateFormat.html

The web service I am trying to develop is basically a generic Data Access Component to bridge between SQL server and a desktop .Net application. The application will have about 3000 users from WAN, therefore we want to have a server side component to handle connection pooling etc. Because of limitation of current servers, we are asked to develop a Java Web Service, instead of MS WS.
To make the component more reusable, I am thinking to have methods like this in the service:

You see, I would like to get whole resultset back to client, including both metadata and data in a format of generic resultset. When I paged through the Sunâs document, finding WebRowSet is claimed to be seariable, and ready for Web Service. I thought if I can use WebRowSet that will save me time to write new classes to hold resultset info and pass back to client.
Could you please tell me if it is a feasible approach?

You are creating a variable...but not passing the value to the parameter...it is exactly like callin get_data or get_cell_value...!!
