How to use calender component in data table

How can we use calender components in datatable properly.
We can show the date using calender components, but the problem is on changing any date using calender the new date is only going to the first row of the table. Can any one tell me how we can solve the problem

How to use Reference type of Data Element

Hi guys, is there anyone could give me a trace how to use reference type of data element.
More details i'm going to reach is:
I create 2 tables:
eq.
1. table ZFIRST has field X with data element ZFX (Data element i declared).
2. table ZSECOND has field Y.
Here at field Y (second table) I'm going to declare a new data element say it ZFY, but in ZFY I'm going to use the data element as i declared before (ZFX). Is it possible if I do it using reference type data element (SE11)?
I already did this way, but I got error :
Field Y: Reference ZFX to class w/o interface cannot be used in DB table ZSECOND
What does it mean?. Did I miss something about using reference data element type?.
This error occurs when I activate ZSECOND table. However in creating ZFY (reference) to data element ZFX, there is no error occur.
The point is I need to RE-declared existing data element and ot put existing data element(ZFX) to my current table (ZSECOND).
Any helpful will be highly appreciated.

What does it mean?. Did I miss something about using reference data element type?.
Apparently system doesn't allow you to type a transparent table field with deep type. This refers to references and tables types as components. The RDBMS (Relational DB Management System) cannot interpret this componenets correclty and mapp them to TABLEs in DB.
So I am affraid you won't be able to type table component with reference to other data element.
The point is I need to RE-declared existing data element and ot put existing data element(ZFX) to my current table (ZSECOND).
Sorry but I don't get it, could you please explain this more clearly. Maybe then we can think of some workaround for you.

How to use ObjectDataProvider component in WDA

Hello all,
I hv an urgent requirement to develop an OADP based application in SAP webdynpro Abap (to fetch tree like structure). i don't know how its possible, but i heard we can use ObjectDataprovider component to do the same.
Does anybody know how to use "ObjectDataProvider" component in web dynpro abap to develop OADP based Webdynpro abap application, a step by step guide would be very nice. or do i need to fetch data myself using methods in webdynpro.

How are attribute and text master data tables linked in SAP R/3?

Hello,
how are attribute and text master data tables linked in SAP R/3?
Most tables with attribute master data like T001 for company codes,
have a text master data table T001T (add "T" to table name).
When looking at the content of table T001 via transaction se11,
the text are automatically joined.
But for some tables there is no "T"-table (e.g. table TVBUR for sales offices
has no text table TVBURT), but in se11 you get texts. There is an address
link in TVBUR, but the Name1, etc. are empty.
a) Where are the text stored?
b) How does the system know of the link?

The master and text table are not linked by name, of course, if you see the text table, it has the same key fields of master table, only it has the field key spras and the field for description.
The link beetween the tables is done by foreign key: if you check the text table TVKBT u need to see how the foreign key for field VKBUR is done:
-> Foreing key with table TVBUR
-> Foreing key field type -> KEY FIELD FOR A TEXT TABLE
->Cardinality-> 1-:CN
It's very important the attribute sets for Foreing key field type, if it's KEY FIELD FOR A TEXT TABLE, it'll mean the table is a text table: i.e. that mean the master table is a check table for the text table, where the foreign key type is for text table.
U can find out the text table of master table by SE11: GoTo->Text Table
U can fined some information in table DD08L.

you cannot use " IN " with read statement , read statement is used as:
READ TABLE it_collect ASSIGNING <fs_collect>
 WITH KEY rbpl = <fs_wkdet>-arbpl
 ufnr = <fs_wkdet>-aufnr.
anyways you can use loop at statement before read to use " into " statement as:
LOOP AT it_master INTO l_master
 WHERE werks = l_werks

i have a data table in my page, which contains various components like inputText, selectOneChoice in each row.
i am invoking a method ValueChangeListener attribute of the selectOneChoice component. I have given the autoSubmit=true for this component.

ScrollableDataTable filtering using calender component in JSF

Hi,
I just want to filter scrollableDataTable on basis of calender component in JSF. For example I want to search the activate member for a subscription in between a time period of startDate and endDate. I also want to rerender the table data using Ajax.
Any suggestion !

This fixes the compile error, but now there's a validation error on the data (see below). The property in the data object is a BigDecimal, the setter method takes a BigDecimal and the converter is the javax.faces.BigDecimal converter. Not sure why there would be a validation error.
I've noticed that if I'm using an <h:inputText> component, I don't need to specify a converter. The value entered by the user is automatically (somehow) converted to a BigDecimal and applied correctly. However, when I'm using an <h:selectOneMenu> component, I get the validation error even with specifying the converter. I've tried specifiying the converter on the <h:selectOneMenu> component as well as using the <f:converter> tag on each of the <f:selectItem> components. The validation error is persistent. Any other suggestions?
