How to use Event Tracking Code for Google Analytics in Dreamweaver CS5

I need to track clicks on links that go to an outside website. I've read about "event tracking code". I'm not sure if it's the right tool to use. And if it is, I've spent several hours reading about it and I can't figure out how to use it. It looks like you need to be an expert developer to be able to make sense of all this. I've always been helped when I ask a question here, I'm hoping that someone can help me.
What my client needs is to know what links are being clicked, and how often. Here's the page where I want to do this: Available Homes - Arizona Vacation Home Rentals
I added a code that I created using the tool I found here: General Event Tracking Code for Google Analytics but can't see to be able to make this work. I added this code to the first link called "View it Here" for the top, left house. I think you misunderstood what Event Tracking is designed for. This is from Google Help
Tracking Code: Event Tracking - Google Analytics — Google Developers
"Use this to track visitor behavior on your website that is NOT related to a web page visit, such as interaction with a Flash video movie control or any user event that does not trigger a page request."
Clicks on links are page requests. I think for your purposes, you may want the Cross Domain Link Tracking plugin.

Let us have a small example on ur scenario.
Lets take the requirement as to calculate Month from Date. (In both the queries).
Query 1: Input variable for Date is say 'ZDATE1'.
Query 2: Input variable for Date is say 'ZDATE2'.
Now let the CMOD variable be ZVAR_CALMONTH.
when 'ZVAR_CALMONTH'.
    clear: lwa_var_rng,
           lwa_range.
    loop at i_t_var_range into lwa_var_rng where vnam = 'ZDATE1' or vnam = 'ZDATE2'.
      concatenate lwa_var_rng-low+0(4)
                  lwa_var_rng-low+4(2)
             into lwa_range-low.
      lwa_range-sign = 'I'.
      lwa_range-opt = 'EQ'.
      append lwa_range to e_t_range.
      clear lwa_range.
    endloop.
Now when you execute the Query1, the above code will work for 'ZDATE1' variable,
if you execute the Query2, the above code will work for 'ZDATE2' variable.
So, the key point is,
1. You need not worry about which query is getting executed. Whatever the query, the particular user entry variable of that query will be taken care.
2. This method works only if the cmod variable (ZVAR_CALMONTH) is used in both the queries (Ofcourse its ur requirement).
3. If queries have both the user entry variables then the cmod will work differently(it ll get data from both the user variables).
You shall try ur code in the above example by replacing the code and the variable names and try playing around it.

I can see the events in DCNM UI but couldn't find any web service method or SMI-S class to retrieve value.

But for the exception shown below we are able to see the error code.But that has nothing to do with java. That exception originates either in a jdbc driver or much more likely in the underlying database (direct from the database itself.)
Most java exceptions have no such number.
The SQLException does have a getErrorCode() method. It might return something useable. However you are also likely to find that it returns a different number or no number at all.

Also when I tried to update my MYSQL connector / J driver to version 5.1.5 from 5.0.5 (NB 5.5.1) and 5.0.7 (NB 6.1), I could not get it work (looooong time to search some JDBC classes and with no response in the end) on both of my Netbean 5.5.1(on PC) and Netbean 6.1(on laptop) IDEs.
Could anybody look into this issue.

Events :
Technically speaking :
" Events are notifications an object receives from, or transmits to, other objects or applications. Events allow objects to perform actions whenever a specific occurrence takes place. Microsoft Windows is an event-driven operating system, events can come from other objects, applications, or user input such as mouse clicks or key presses. "
Lets say you have an ALV - An editable one ...
Lats say - Once you press some button you want some kind of validation to be done.
How to do this ?
Raise an Event - Which is handled by a method and write the validation code.
Now you might argue, that I can do it in this way : Capture the function code - and call the validate method.
Yes, in this case it can be done.. But lets say .. you change a field in the ALV and you want the validation to be done as soon as he is done with typing.
Where is the function code here ? No function code... But there is an event here - The data changed event.
So you can raise a data changed event that can be handled and will do the validation.
It is not user friendly that you ask the user to press a button (to get the function code) for validation each time he enters a data.
The events can be raised by a system, or by a program also. So in this case the data changed event is raised by a system that you can handle.
Also, Lets say on a particular action you want some code to trigger. (You can take the same example of validation code). In this case the code to trigger is in a separate class. The object of which is not available here at this moment. (This case happens very frequently).
Advantage with events : Event handlers can be in a separate class also.
e.g : In the middle of some business logic .. you encounter a error. You want to send this information to the UI (to user - in form of a pop up) and then continue with some processing.
In many cases - A direct method call to trigger the pop up is not done. Because (in ideal cases) the engine must not interact with UI directly - Because the UI could be some other application - like a windows UI but the error comes from some SAP program.
So - A event is raised from the engine that is handled in the UI and a pop up is triggered.
Here -- I would have different classes (lets say for different Operating Systems). And all these classes must register to the event ERROR raised in application.
And these different classes for different Operation systems will have different code to raise a pop-up.
Now you can imagine : If you coded a pop-up for Windows (in your application logic) .. it will not work for Mac or Linux. But of you raise a event.. that is handled separately by a different UI classes for Win, Linux or Mac they will catch this event and process accordingly.
May be I complicated this explanation .... but I couldn't think of a simpler and concrete example.

   4. Remove the entries and try again launching any product from CC
Mac:
   1. Please click on "Go" and navigate to /private/etc
   2. Open "hosts" file and check out for any entries for Adobe.com
   3. Remove the entries and save the file
   4. try again launching any product from CC

I am currently working on a JEE application where the user needs to authenticate (for this I have configured the web.xml).
Now inside this application I need to do a proxy call to a PI webservice.
I would like to use the user credentials of the already logged in user in order to call the proxy.
What I don't want to do is to use a service user for the proxy call.

Now I don't know how to bring it togehter and how to use an authenticated user for the BindingProvider.
I would appreciate any hints or ideas.

from the first screenshot, what I understood is that, you are calling an inbound PI web service that is intended to create an integrated configuration object (this is used for whole lot of other reason completely) but not actually calling a development web service.
For this, you would have to generate your client classes from the WSDL provided by the PI developer for that particular service. Once you get those client classes generated, you could used the method provided in the other screenshot to extract the user and password and call the intended web service.

How to display the 'language code' for language dependent 'Short text' ?

I am new to BW.
Can somebody help me with the following issue?
I have an attribute 'Material category description' and I chose short text exists and made it language dependent. I had loaded the master data successfully.
Now I want to know how to check the 'language code' for this material category description. When I display the data, will the language code display by defalult?
I had checked the text table using SE11
It displays the following fields over there.
/BIC/TS1_MCT_DS   [ /BIC/TS1(InfoObject name) ]
LANGU
TXTSH

I went to RSD1 -> info-object -> Master Data/text tab. It shows my language selections there (Short text selected, language time dependent etc.) with everything grayed out.
In SE16, I could display the data in the following format.
/BIC/ST_PRID                TXTSH                 TXTMD
P01                                   umbrella                 rainyday
P02                                  tent                         waterproof
etc.
I want to see the 'language code' as one of the columns in this table.
Can you help me do that?

You will need to add this font to the system and Reports configuration files.
For adding font to the system, refer to your system specific guidelines for installing new fonts.
After you have installed this font on the system, you should be able to see the font in Reports builder font picker dropdown box. or with unix 'xlsfonts' command
For adding this font to the Reports application.
1. Modify the printer definition file ( you can get this info from uiprint.txt file for the .ppd or .hpd file used )
if the printer defination file is .ppd then look for "*Font Information" section and add the new font name there
like *Font <new_font_name> Standard '(00.1001)" Standard ROM
If hpd add the new font tfm file as
FONT= new_font_name
/tfm=new_font_tfm file.tfm
2. Copy the AFM or TFM ( these are fonts metrics files, which font vendor will provide ) into the relevant directory so the the Reports application should pick them up.
3. If necessary, make changes in the alias file (uifont.ali ) for mapping to this font. If the layout objects in your report are associated with the same font name as the new font then mapping is not required. But if the fonts for the layout objects are different then you need to map the original fonts to the new ones. Make sure that the mapping rules should be defined in the right section depending on the printer type being used.
