How do we use our I Pad to run proclaim worship program remotely from the stage through our I Mac in a church service. We have two VGA projectors that run the slide and the sound is run through the sound board. The iMac and soundboard are in the back of the worship center.

and there are teamviewer and a long line of other vnc and remote desktop clients in apps tore

Restart your iOS device.
Restart your Mac.
Make sure that your Mac meets the minimum system requirements for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Install software updates on your Mac.
If an iTunes update is available, apply the update.
Check USB connections. iOS devices need USB 2.0 to work properly. If you're not sure your Mac has USB 2.0 ports, check the computer's specifications.
Disconnect other USB devices and connect your device directly to a USB port on your Mac.
Try another USB cable.

How to use ICROleObject to run SetOleLocation

I am trying to located what library ICROleObject is found in. I want to use SetOleLocation to send a Word Document or an Excel Spreadsheet to a report section.
I have found an example on Business Objects DevLibrary:

How to share iPad Photos and iMac iPhoto via network?

I've recently added an iPad 2 to my Apple system. Can anyone tell me how to access my iMac's iPhoto library (OSX 10.7.2) with the iPad 2's Photo's app (or other app) via my Apple Extreme home network? I'm running iOS 5 on the iPad.
It's clearly possible (and I've done it) to share iPhoto libraries between computers running OSX and iPhoto over my network. On my iMac, iPhoto Preferences>Sharing opens a window with clear options to enable this service:
However, I have yet to find the app on the iPad 2 which will perform the same function so I can link libraries between my desktop and my iPad. Is there one, or a third party app for this?

In general the simplest way would be to store the document in iCloud, and use iCloud to access the document from both your iMac and iPad.
But your post above says you're running Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6.4). Snow Leopard is now two years old. I'm not sure it supports iCloud.

Want to use my iPad (4th gen) to edit a movie using iMovie - easy enough if the movie file is on the iPad - but what if it's too large - can I keep the source file on a USB stick or external USB hard drive and edit from there? How can you do this?

You can't export any type of file using the camera connection kit, so a USB flash drive or SD card won't work.
There are some wireless external hard drives that can be used with the iPad.
The Kingston Wi-Drive, which costs $50 for the 16 Gigabyte, and then $30 more for every 16 gigs more. It works by you turning it on and then accessing the files on it from an app that you download on your iDevice. You can access music, movies, and other stuff. No connections or anything, it works like a WiFi connection, you connect to it from the setting on the iPad under wireless networks.
Then there is the Seagate GoFlex, which some would recommend over the Wi-Drive. But this one costs $199 and had 500 Gigabytes of storage. It works the sameway as the Kingston: no wires, runs over its wireless connection. You can actually fit up to 300 HD movies on it.

You can remotely log in to a Mac with any user account on that computer and control it, without interrupting someone else who might be using the computer under a different login.
How can I do this? I can't seem to find the ability. If I use ARD in it's "normal" mode, I am on the user's console at the same time they are.... I want to be "underneath" the console without affecting them.

Using iPad to run Mini?

Hi, all:
I am brand new to Apple, so please excuse any faux pas and/or 'dumb' questions....
I have a new Mac Mini and an iPad2. I've gotten both fired up, synched and running. Now I want to use the Mini as the source of HD music files to play in my stereo. I will run the output of the Mini into a Peachtree iDac via a 'hogged' USB port.
I do have a secure WiFi network and have placed both the Mini andf the iPadf on it. Both are working flawlessly as independent units.
I want to use the iPad as the UI and control for the Mini, so that I don't have a display, keyboard and mouse in the room. So, what's the best way to achieve this? Do I need to purchase an app? If not, what do I need to do to set the iPad as my display and input interface?

For playing music, you can download the free Remote app for the iPad, and leave iTunes running and shared on the Mac Mini.
For controlling the UI, you can use an app called Screens on the iPad, and turn on "Screen Sharing" in the Mac Mini's Sharing preferences. However, you'll quickly find that interfaces designed for keyboard and mouse don't feel nearly as nice when you're using touch, and vice-versa.

There are many potential reasons that a Mac may be running slower than expected, but more information is required to begin troubleshooting, much more.
Back up your documents and everything else important to you before proceeding. It is premature to conclude your hard disk is failing, but the symptoms you describe may presage an impending disk failure, and you should have backups anyway.
To help determine the possible causes of this behaviour read the following. None of what follows is intended to fix anything, but it will provide the additional information required to advance troubleshooting:
Boot OS X Recovery by holding ⌘ and r (two fingers) while you start your Mac. At the Mac OS X Utilities screen, select Disk Utility. Select your startup volume (usually named "Macintosh HD") and click the Repair Disk button. Describe any errors it reports in red.
When it finishes restart your Mac and test again for operation. If it's still not behaving as you expect it should, please post the results of EtreCheck in accordance with the following instructions:

You must disable FileVault before you can start your Mac in Safe Mode.
Starting your Mac in Safe Mode will take longer than usual, graphics will not render smoothly, audio is disabled on some Macs, and some programs (iTunes for example) may not work at all.
Merely starting your Mac in Safe Mode is not intended to resolve the problem, it's to observe its performance without certain additional components.
To end Safe Mode restart your Mac normally. Shutdown will take longer as well.
System performance problems for reasons that cannot be isolated to any other cause justify anSMC reset. Be sure to read the procedure carefully and follow all the steps exactly as written, even if they seem inapplicable or trivial.

My ipad got stuck on google maps page and am unable to use any other site. Message on google map is `Would Like to Use Your Current Location' Taping either `Don't Allow` or OK does not close the page. I disconnected wi fi, switched off ipad for longd but problem persists. Can any one guide me?

Try quitting the Google Maps app and then reset your iPad. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
