How to use MAM30_011_CREATE BADI - IF_EX_ALM_ME_010_NOTIF~MAM30_CREATE ?

Hi,
I have an customer field "ZZEXT_XY" in the table "QMEL".
When the user creates a new notification on mobile device the information for that customer field is saved in the notification syncBo as enhancement field for CE_NOTIF_HEADER (MAM30_010Item030).
During sync the functional modul "MAM30_011_CREATE" is called by the middleware.
Now I want to use the BADI "IF_EX_ALM_ME_010_NOTIF~MAM30_CREATE" to save this information in the table field "ZZEXT_XY" in table "QMEL" (wich includes "CI_QMEL" with the enhanced table fields, like "ZZEXT_XY").
Is this possible?
And if yes, how can I implement this?
Because I don't see any type in the BADI which contains the customer field "ZZEXT_XY".
I thought I can use a reference type for the structure ALM_ME_CUSTOM_NOTIF_HEADER.
But this is not working.
I'm getting a "OBJECTS_MOVE_NOT_SUPPORTED" runtime error during executing the functional modul "MAM30_011_CREATE".

I hope I can help you a little bit.
You must extend the Customer Include CI_ALM_ME_NOTIF_HEADER with your own field ZZEXT_XY. When you have done this, you have to implement the BADI Method in order to get your customer field into the database. The Customer BADI is called after the standard creation of the notification.
I have extend the task list and it works fine.

How to use standard BADi?

Good day experts.
I have a requirement which I need to save details (such as amount, description, doc. no. etc) on F-22 (screen 0700) into a ztable which I will going to create. Since F-22 is a SAP standard, I need to use Exits or BADi to accomplish my requirement. I do some readings about BADi before I make did post.
First, I research on how to check what are the available BADi on F-22. So, there is that tutorial on how to get the exit handler of that particular transaction. In my case, the name of the BADi is FI_RES_ITEM_CURRENCY. However, I am not lucky to get some more information what to do next. As for my further readings, I have to use SE18 and SE19. When I use se18, I can see the interface and methods of this SAP BADi. Since this BADi is a SAP standard, I cannot insert any codes in its method. So, what I did is, I make a zclass. I copied this class "CL_DEF_IM_FI_RES_ITEM_CURRENCY" in se24 and make a zcopy of it. Now I can now insert some Abap codes in its method. But my question again is, how to implement this class into the BADi, "FI_RES_ITEM_CURRENCY" which is a SAP standard.
Can anyone help me what is the next step/s for me to do to accomplish my requirement? Thanks a lot for your kind help.

Hi,
as you already concluded SE18 is only for defining BAdIs definition or View the BAdI Definition. To implement the BAdI you may use transaction SE19.
Depending on your SAP Release it's either quite easy or (starting with 6.0) you probably have to create a enhancement befor you can implement a actual BAdI.

I am using ELM tool to upload new accounts from an excel file. I need to do some coding before the BPs get created into CRM. This coding is for mapping some fields & doing a few validation checks. We have a BADI CRM_MKTLIST_BADI for this. But when I try to stop that BADI by putting breakpoints, it doesnot stop. I have assigned the required filter for my implementation of the BADI too. But somehow the breakpoint doesnot work & the control never stops in the BADI implementation. Could the experts out there please help me out in this as this is really urgent...

Hi Sangeeta,
Set the user parameter CRM_DEBUG_CODE to "MKLIST" for your user in SU3. Put a break-point in the BADI method.
This will call the debugger once the BADI is triggered.

I think what you need to do is find what exits or existing BAdIs are available for the transaction. Then in the user exit you can call your customized code. That way you avoid changing SAP's code for the transaction. You can find BAdIs related to purchasing by going to transaction SPRO and then following this path:
Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Business Add-Ins for Purchasing

Someone sold me a bad IMEI AT&T iphone 5. I had an AT&T iphone 4 with straight talk prior to buying this phone. I didn't know the IMEI was bad so I bought the iphone 5 hoping to switch. I cut my SIM card and put it into the iphone 5. Everything worked perfectly fine so I went ahead and gave the dude the money. I went to sleep and wake up the next day and try to make a call and I get a message saying my phone has been blocked from the network. I contacted straight talk and they thought it was a problem of theirs so somehow they got my phone to work again. Everything was good , calls, texts , and data. 2 hours later, the same problem happens. So I call straight talk again , tell them the problem. They fix It again, 2 hours later , THE SAME PROBLEM. I gave up this time and began looking for answers. Is there any way I can use this iphone 5 with straight talk ? There was a comment I saw through my search for answers where if I get another straight talk sim everything would work again. Is this true? How can I use a bad IMEI AT&T iphone 5 with straight talk ?

I'm using SRM 7.0. When implementing BADI /SAPSRM/BADI_DET_AG (Define the agents of procsess controlled workflow), I created the sub-class of interface /SAPSRM/IF_WF_AREA to develop my won logic in method GET_RESPONSIBLE_APPROVERS.
I want use the data in workflow container, seems the method GET_AREA_ENTITY_IDS of /SAPSRM/IF_WF_AREA can provide a pointer which type is /sapsrm/t_wf_area_entity and point workflow area.
My question is how to use this pointer (or how to use the type /sapsrm/t_wf_area_entity )? Many thanks.

How to use a screen-field when applying BADI or User Exit to a T Code

Hi Experts,
I need your help on this problem.
I have created a BADI for the transaction code miro. I have got the Exit name on which the enhancement has to be done. I want to perform a check on a text field (Scrren field name INVFO-SGTXT).
When my break point occurs i enter INVFO-SGTXT in the field to check the value present in it. But it shows that no such field exists.
My Basic doubt is how to use a value entered in a text field in a tcode while performing a User Exit or BADI on it.
Do I have to declare it. If yes please mention how?

Hi,
The first question here would be... do you plan on having multiple implementations down the road because if not there really isn't any reason to create a BADI inside the exit. If that is the case then add the field as an importing parameter in your BADI interface and then you should be able to see it inside the BADI at your break-point.

How to handle the Bad record as part of the insertion/updation to avoid the transaction.
Example:
I am inserting into table with LIMIT of 1000 records and i've got error at 588th record.
i want to commit the transaction with 588 inserted record in table and log the error into
error logging table then i've to continue with transaction with 560th record.
Can anyone suggest me in this case.

MAX(SummaryNum) +1 bad idea, but how to use sequence part composite column

My relational mode is as follows
Policy (policynum PK) has 1:M with Summary (policynum FK, SummaryNum part of PK, other columns part of PK)
Basically for each policy users can enter notes with SummaryNum 1, 2, 3, 4.... These numbers are shown to the user for tracking purpose. I need to make sure summary notes for EACH policy start with 1 (cannot really use sequence in the table in the strictest sense) and are incremented by 1. The current Oracle form basically creates the next highest possible value of SummaryNum by adding one to the currently available highest value. In brief, it is like a sequence number for summaries of a particular policy in the summary table.
PRE-INSERT

I am trying to replicate this in ADF BC (using 11g) and know that not using sequencing and adding one to get the next number is a very bad idea due to concurrency challenges (transactional ACID properties). The reasons are as follows.
•     Using MAX(policy_memo_seq_num) + 1 is not scalable,
•     It will lead to duplicates in a multi-user environment, whether ADF BC, Oracle Forms, or any other technology
I also know how to use create a sequence in db, a related trigger, and then set the attribute in EO properties as DBSequence. My challenge is that since SummaryNum is not a primary key, and instead is part of a composite key in my case, how do I make sure that summary notes for EACH policy start with 1 in the Summary Table.
I appears that i cannot really use sequence in the table in the strictest sense as this will mean that for policies the summaryNum will start from the next available sequence number, but what i really want is to have it start by one for all policies.*
I would appreciate any help.

Not sure if there is a better way, but here is one way. Let's say your table was like this:
    SQL> desc versioned_item

How to use airport time capsule with multiple computers?

I'm sure there are some thread about this but i couldn't find it... so sorry for that but hear me out! =)
I bought the AirPort Time Capsule to back up my MBP
And so i did.
then i thought "let give this one a fresh start" so i erased all of it with the disk utility and re-installed the MBP from the recovery disk.
I dont want all of the stuff i backed up just a few files and some pictures so i brought that back.. so far so good.
Now i want to do a new back up of my MBP so i open time machine settings, pick the drive on the time capsule and then "Choose" i wait for the beck up to begin, and then it fails. It says (sorry for my bad english, im swedish haha) "the mount /Volume/Data-1/StiflersMBP.sparsebundle is already in use for back up.
this is what i want:
i want the "StiflersMBP.sparsebundle" to just be so i can get some stuf when i need them. it's never to be erased.
i want to make a new back up of my MBP as if it's a second computer...
so guys and girls, what is the easiest and best solution?

If you want files to use later.. do not use TM.
Or do not use TM to the same location. Plug a USB drive into the computer and use that as the target for the permanent backup.

How to use alias in "From" field when I send a mail with utl_smtp ?

I'm using a PL/SQL package with an Oracle 11G database to send mails. It works fine but instead of use of my mail in "From" field like "[email protected]" as sender E-mail address, I would like to have "Toto" in the sender address. I tryied to use utl_smtp.mail(l_connection, '<toto> [email protected]') but it doesn't work. The only way I can send mail is when I set utl_smtp.mail(l_connection, '<[email protected]>') directly. When I use the Alias, I have an error from smtp server telling that I use a bad syntax address.
Does someone know how to use the alias ? Where do I do a mistake ?

use one function module with tables parameter as extension_in and pass all the extension_in internal table to global internal tables of function group.
give structure name in structure field , and values in VALUEPART1,VALUEPART2,VALUEPART3,VALUEPART4
implement BADI, LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC
using the badi LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC.
implemented the method SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE.
use one function module with tables parameter as extension_in and pass all the global internal tables of function group to local extension_in internal table and pass it to the standard internal tables of likp,lips.
