How to use the Class.getMethod(String name, Class[] paramArrays)

Hi,
I've a problem with the .getMethod method. I've search solutions in the tutorials but I haven't found sorry.
I'm trying to copy a method from a Class named carre in a reference named m. But I don't understand the second part of the parameters. How can I write parameters in a Class array ?
Method m = Carre.class.getMethod("getYou", args) ; //It doesn't work, because args is a String array, not a Class array, my parameters would be double.

Class[] classArray = { new Double().getClass(), new String().getClass()};That's not what you want to write. That generates two objects unnecessarily. You should write:new Class[] { Double.class, String.class };

So in the example below replace "ernie" with the alias you want the client to use.
I can show you how I do it :
First an entry need to be added to the client tnsnames.ora that uses a SERVICE_NAME instead of a SID.

When I do this the Database will still register with the listener. I don't give that to the clients. That one will still be available but nobody knows about it. Meanwhile "ernie" moves with the database role.
So in my example the default just hangs out in the background.

It is not possible to deactivate the CHANGE option in themenu bar using the method disable_functions of cass CL_CTMENU. This method allows you to deactivate only the function codes of the CONTEXT MENU, which is available only when u press the left mouse button.
U can use the SET PF-STATUS 'XXX' EXCLUDING fcodes option to disable the CHANGE.

I think it that way. You are trying to compare and analyse old (don't say bad) programming school with a new (OO one) approach. Although, I am OO enthusiast and in any case I will try to convice you that OO aproach is better than classical one, you should know what SE30 was designed for. If you want to stress on OO design, use the one you mentioned, otherwise stick what SAP recommmends (please note, that I am "middle" school pupil, so I tried to learn all courses with my own experience and feelings from OO).
IMHO, OO aproach is a way of thinking, not something we can messure in sec. and compare to old school teaching. Some of your report should be desinged in classical way, some should be pure OO. Which one you choose, is up to you, your conclusions, your percives of ABAP language. For me OO was not injected in ABAP enough, to affect developers or to convince them using it in any case w/o doubts you have.

then it will be wrapped in next line..

In IE you can apply CSS property 'word-wrap' on that field with the value 'break-word'. For other browsers you'll have to write some JS yourself which breaks long words with spaces or even do it already at the server side.

How to use application class reference in the controller methods of BSP

Hi,
I have created a bsp application and also created an application class and assigned it to the application class. In the application class, I have created attribute TEXT type string(public and instance parameter).
In the controller let's say main.do, I am trying to give a value to to the text by adding the following code.
application->text = 'test'.
I am getting syntax error saying field 'text' is unknown. It is not contained in one of the specified tables nor defined by DATA statement.
Please can someone let me know how to use the application class in the coding with an example. I couldn't find how exactly this has to be reference. Please help.

if you are having main controller and sub-controller then you may need to use below coding to use application class reference.
*Data declaration
DATA: obj_cntrl        TYPE REF TO cl_bsp_controller2,

         application TYPE REF TO z_cl_application.
*Get the controller

The Implementation Class must reflect the full name of the class. For instance, if the full class name is : xx.yyy.zz.class_name, then put this in the Implementation Class property of the corresponding item.
Also, the class must be stored in the equivalent directory structure, so that, in my example: <DEV_HOME>/forms/java/xx/yyy/zz

i have a folder in which I have many .jar files which contain classes to be called. the full path of this folder is set in the Classpath inside the enviroment variables.

My problem is that: I created a Serializable class in a project. And I added this project (first project) to another project (second project). First project is appearing in the second project' s Libraries folder. No problem. I want to create a jar file from second project. i.e. I want to Build second project (I use NetBeans IDE). I am using Build Main Project tab under Run. It is falling out. I am finding it second project' s jar file under its folder. I am clicking on it. But it is NOT WORKING. Do you know WHY. Could you help me please?

For PO there will be Header Texts and Item texts.
For header texts just Take the PO number as TDNAME.
for Item texts Conactenate the PO number and Item Number and use as TDNAME.
in ME23N Go to any text.Double click on it
It will take you to text editor.
GOTO-> header
it will display the TEXT ID,TEXTNAME,LANG and TEXT OBJECT etc
