How to validate the connection to CFE

Hi Experts,
We have completed the Installation of SFE and CFE. Both the SFE and CFE got connected and the status is "Operational".
Then We have followed the Below Steps:
1. Deliver Policiy Creation: Added the Portal Server under Data Server and made the CFE as Deliver Target
2. Saved and Activated the Policy.
Next in CFE Side, What activity we need to perform and how we have to access the Portal System which we would like to access thru Application Delivery
Please suggest.

Hi Baskar,
a delivery policy usually consists of data server, delivery target and service types. Next step is to define those items and save and apply the policy.
In order to check whether the CFE really delivers the service, you can go to the CFE (command line --> exit to shell) and check the status of service ad_dns_proxy: service ad_dns_proxy status --> here you should see which virtual IP address delivers which service.
Next step to really test the delivery is to integrate the CFE into your network (more details see documentation chapter 6 - Configuring the Client Workstation to Work with AccAD). Most easy approach for test purposes is usually to modify you local hosts file to use the CFE virt. IP for accessing the portal server. Then if you access from your PC the portal server, it is delivered through AccAD (you can notice this in the title of the browser and within the HTTP Watch traces in the headers).

I think there is no need to put chain endchain.
To do validation you have to write module in PAI which does required validations.

Hello. I'm trying to figure out how to specify the connection string to a SQLite database, I would like to access using the following code:

What does SQLite connection strings has to do with WPF?
You will find some valid connection strings here:

But you cannot use the SqlConnection class to connect to a SQLite database. You will need to download and add a reference to the System.Data.SQLite library and then use the SQLiteConnection class:

The problem is:
We have a new BW system. The basis people asked me to check the connection between this BW system and the R/3. There is only one client for now(100). I have logged into 100 and tried executing RSA1 to check the connection, but it gave a message box saying "You can only work in Client 000". Then I have treid logging into 000(just to make sure) and tried executing RSA1. Even here I got a message saying "The SAP BW system must not be operated in client 000". Now, I am not sure of what is wrong in clien 100. I am not sure if I have to do some settings before I access RSA1 or any other BW transaction. Could you please help me in this.
Also, I just checked the RFC destinations in BW. There is a destination created for our R/3 and I have noticed that they have given a remote UserID and password for remote login. I tried to check the Remote UserID in SU01 but there is no userID with that name. Could this be a problem?

If you load data you can see the data load successful and the no of cells updated in the dialogue box.
If there any records rejected they are thrown into dataload .err file.
If you want to validate the input data you can verify the input records in the excel add-in.
If you want validate the business logic ( ie data at the high level ) you have to write SQL Procedures or Custom programs at the Source layer to calculate the high level data in ESSBASE and compare the results in essbase Roll UP Using Excel add-in.

You can initially set the validation for empty values.. that is when the user dint enters any value and clicks on submit.
for these vadliations you need to write a method and call it on submit button click!!
secondly, you can validate for the format if required.
thirdly, you can validate against a database for the credentials. For this you need to fetch list of usernames from database and search for user entered value in that list.
Optimal query would be : if user name not null, query for pwd of the entered user name from database or file storage. if you dont get any value for pwd of given username, its incorrect user name. if you get some pwd value for username, then check against the one user entered in pwd field..
Write all this logic in a method and call on submit button click event of the login form!!

I'm looking forward for some tips/troubleshoting guide to escape from the below exception, that occres very frequently to one of application that 100+ users will login from different locations & work on and update the data and save their work, where all in sudden they can't acces the application and it gets down.
Most of the times in the server log I observed below.
weblogic.jdbc.extensions.PoolLimitSQLException: weblogic.common.resourcepool.ResourceLimitException: No resources currently available in pool RemoteDesktop.main to allocate to applications, please increase the size of the pool and retry..
Please help me on, how to overcome this kind of exception.
In Weblogi c server I see below kind of Warnings.
If you set the buffer size to zero in a servlet, it would fail to respond and would initiate an infinite loop in the server. WebLogic Server would ultimately display a Errors:
ExecuteThread: '157' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default' has been busy for "633" seconds working on the request "Http Request: : ../updates/process_manager.jsp", which is more than the configured time (StuckThreadMaxTime) of "600" seconds.
I searched over google for this kind of error, See otherusers posted the same kind of errors but didn't have any positive replies to troubleshoot this issue.
I also got Oracle Dev link on Weblogic version upgrade product where they fixed similar kind of error it seems. Which is shown below.

would be a good idea; but I would suggest that you don't increase without thinking about the consequences. I would look more closely at what the connections to the database are doing, for instance, how long are the connection being left open for? What are the queries that are being run? Should you expect to see all the connections in the connection pool being used? What is the current connection pool limit? Are you simply going to increase the number of connections to find that they are also waiting? What is the load on the database at the time?
It's the other error that you say you see

What does this JSP do? Why would this be busy for so long? Is it related to the previous exception that you have? I'd ask you delevelopment team to look into this.
In short, it sounds like you have load issues on your server(s) and a careful tuning of the system after a full analysis (thread dumps, heap profiling, connection pool monitoring and code review) would probably be beneficial. It may be that restricting the thread pool may help, it may be that increasing the connection pool would help. I'd not plump for a quick fix here.
