Hi, group members I am working on BOXI R2. Following are the steps which i performed for making moving average according to the manual. I have selected "Monthly" from the Calendar option Move the "Moving Average" in Defined Transformation and in last changed the entries of "Number of Points and Offset" Changes are saved successfully. But not able to see the impact of it. Can any member guide me here, How to view the impact of it. Regards, Izhar

hi,
moving average is a transformation which we use to remove the seasonality from the time series data.
we do it for to forecast based on just trend variability.
if there is already no seasonality in your data you shouldn't see any clear impact.

  • How to view materials with selected moving average price

    Dear Gurus,
How to view materials with moving average price greater than some selected value?  ie..Is there any report which takes moving average price as input?
    Thanks in advance,
    Sastry

    HI
While checking any table or report u cannot give conditions (more than this value).
If it mabe the case, down load the data from table MBEW - Field Name VERPR  to excel file. then u apply conditions, like greater than this value.
U'll get the desired out put.
    Thanks

  • Making Moving average price a mandatory field in MM01

    Hello,
I've tried to make MBEW-VERPR a mandatory field in TC MM01, but with no success.
I tried using field selection (OMSR), screen variant (SHD0), making system message M3 131 an Error - nothing worked.
    Please advice.
    Thanks,
    Dikla

    Dear Lakshman,
You are right in what you are saying, and to explain the reason why I'm trying to make this field mandatory, I'll describe a scenario:
You have a Make To Order purchased material and you received an order for this material from one of your customers. You go out to purchase this material.
When you do GR for this PO, the PO price does not change the moving average price (MAP) of this material - it changes the sales order MAP of this material.
If, for some reason, the customer cancels his order at this point, you will do transfer posting to this material and change it from sales order stock to own stock.
We do this transfer posting with movement type 414 and that movement does not change the MAP of the material.
Now we have stock for this material, but with MAP zero.
If now we receive another customer order, we don't have to go out for purchase because we have this material in stock.
If we will use MvT 413 to allocate the stock to the sales order,
it will be allocated with price zero.
In this case, when we'll post the outbound delivery, no financial document will be created because the price of the material was zero.
I want to prevent this situation.
If the field is mandatory, even a price of 0.01 will be enough for the creation of financial document when I post a material document.

  • Numbers 3.1 restricting the period for moving average trend lines

Numbers 3.1 is restricting the period I can specify for a moving average trend line for a scatter plot series. The max is 6. This limitation was not present in the previous version of Numbers.
Charts imported from the previous version retain larger periods, but there is no way I can see to specify periods >6 for any new series. Is there a way to allow a period >6? That is clearly necessary for many applications.
    Thanks.

    Hi Bill,
    Numbers 3.1
If you want a 14 day moving average over the prior 14 days, the formula in C10 is
    =AVERAGE(B2:B15) (and Fill Down)
The formula will eventually run out of cells. Hence the red error triangles.
    Plotting columns A, B and C:
X axis is Day (column A)
Blue circles and blue line are Actual Y (column B and as expected, they jump around).
Black circles and black line are calculated moving averages on a 14 day period (column C)
Red line is Numbers Trendline (Moving Average, Period 6). How it predicts into the future (Moving Average over 6 days) I have no idea.
I would more trust a calculated moving average, because I know what it is calculating.
    Regards,
    Ian.

  • Inventory list with moving average price

    Hi all,
How do I get the list of inventory stock using the valuation method as MOVING AVERAGE.
Iam able to get the list using last purchase price, But how do I get it using Moving average Price.
    Thanks in advance.

Moving average price for item might be different by each warehouse.  Inventory Valuation Report can be used to get the whole picture for any single item by moving average price.
If you want to get more items, you can try this query to see:
    SELECT T0.ItemCode, T1.ItemName, T0.WhsCode, T0.OnHand, T0.AvgPrice, (T0.OnHand * T0.AvgPrice) AS 'Amount'
    FROM dbo.OITW T0 INNER JOIN dbo.OITM T1 ON T0.ItemCode = T1.ItemCode WHERE T0.OnHand > 0
    Thanks,

  • How do I create a SCOM 2012 MP calling PowerShell to calculate a moving average of an event log event count?

I'm tasked to create a SCOM Monitor MP that needs to be deployed on different servers where it needs to count events in the eventlog and trigger an alert.
Before it is suggested that counting an absolute arithmetic difference is enough and offering links to such solutions, there is a "gotcha!" :
There might be one server, Server A,  that gets, say, 1000 events per hour, an increase of 100+ should trigger the alert.
On Server B, only gets 100 events per hour, and an increase of 10+ should also trigger the alert.
Therefore: You *can't* use an absolute diference, but *must* use a percentage difference.
It gets more challenging as there is another "gotcha":
Actually what should trigger the alert is a rate increase of events that falls outside of  two Standard Deviations of a Moving Average. The best example is the stock market: Your stock price moves up and down daily, but also steadily moves up due to
inflation over the years. You want a monitor that will alert you when the stock price goes above or below two standard deviations from the *moving average*.
I know how to call a PowerShell script from a SCOM Monitor, but I don't know how to get SCOM and PowerShell to "remember" prevous sampling's counts, because Monitors are state-less (e.g. "memoryless") .
Since SCOM, I'm told, can monitor any process state over time, I'm surprised that I don't see any support for statistical time-series analysis .
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
beyond advanced topic! That's what I like.
First, very good description, these are almost functional specifications!
    I would also chose PowerShell.
Some time ago we did a similar situation - where
it was necessary to take into account the previous
    situation|state.
We resolve this in a way that the states|values was
stored in the dedicated text file. So, at each new interval we collect new samples, read previous samples, calculate required values, stored this new calculated values, if required create property bag and trigger alert.
This is of course high level view. But in general the entire process is done in PS script.
    Recently, I found that
the xml files and PS scripts bring
a lot of flexibility. Especially in building custom
    diagnostics.
And there is no need to care about distribution of this files,
they may be included in the MP.
So SCOM infrastructure take care of this.
One piece of advice: First decide
    whether you need only alert
or you want to steer|change health. The first case
is simpler - you need rule. The second is more complex - you need monitor!
But of course the main part is PS script.

    Ivan

  • How can I create a view of top five teams averages based on individual averages of that team?

I have created a list that groups teams by their Team name (Team column) with the individuals members (participants column) averages and their team average (total average view option).  I want to only display the top five teams that have the overall
top team averages.  I have a list that contains a team name, average minutes, week, and participant. The team manager plugs in each week a new entry for each participant on the team.  I have a view that computes each team average but I want a view
of the top five teams based on the top averages of the team (not individual participant average).  Unfortunately, I can only seem to get all teams grouped with individuals of that team, their individual averages and the team average but can't figure out
only how to show the top five teams top average.  Because it's a total (team average) and not a separate column, I can't get a view by team based on total average.  I can by top individual average but not by the team.  Can some one help me figure
    out a solution?

A calculated column won't work because a calculated column can only reference the individual item, not the entire list or a subset.
You could do javascript to build this, but to me it's easier to just use Excel.

  • How to change moving average price with movement type 501

    Hi Gurus,
Our client procures stock item with P-Card and use the movement type 501 to receive into the stock. The value of these items are updated with the moving average price, most of the time the current purchase price is different than current moving average price, so client wants to change the moving average at the time of receiving the goods into the system. Can some one explain is it possible or not. If possible how can we adjust the price? Client doesnu2019t want to go modify the price with other transaction. They want to modify while receiving with MIGO.
    Thanks,
    Vikram

    Hi
You need to goto transaction OMJJ, select the movement type as 501.
Then double click on "Field selection-Enjoy transaction".
Add the field EXWBR & make it optional.
Now when you goto MIGO & enter 501 movement type you will find the Ext amount in LC field on Quantity tab page.
Enter the amount in this field during the GR.

My concern is since we will be moving from 32-bit to a 64-bit OS how will this impact our upgrade process?I assume your EBS single machine. EBS r11 is not certified wiht 64 bit OS.So you need to upgrade first than migrate it 64 bit

  • Return goods will impact the  Moving average price?

    Hi,
When stock of a material is low,and we return the goods to our vendor from po(movement type 102), the Moving average price may change very large.for example, stock:11 PC, Moving average price:1;return qty(with po 102):10PC,return price:0.5,then the Moving average price bacome to 6. I went movement type 102 can't impact the Moving average price, is it possible?
      Thanks.

    Hi,
This is not possible. As the name indicates, it is the Moving Average Price. When you receive goods / return goods, the system will take it into accoutn & change the MAP accordingly.

  • Automatic MAP ( Moving average Price) in CDHDR - How to capture?

    Hi All,
I have a requirement in which changes to Moving Average price ( MAP) needs to be send to another legacy system through custom MATMAS IDOC. Now when I make a change to MAP through MR21 or MM02 these changes are written in BDCP table and a change pointers are created and hence i am able to send them through IDOC. But when for a material the MAP changes through GR,GI Oor PO changes in such cases the MAP change being an automatic change it doesn't get captured in CDHDR and CDPOS table and hence no change pointers are created. I know CDDHR and CDPOS captures manual changes and not automatic changes. Could anyone please explain me in details how this problem can be resolved.
    Thanks ,
    Ameesha

    Hello,
I doubt a GR,GI or PO can change the Moving Average Price.
It should be only through MR21.
    Please check again.

  • How I can change Valuation Method from Moving Average to Standar

    Hi Experts:
How I can change Valuation Method from Moving Average to Standar for an item that has bookings. We running Sap Business One 2007 A, PL 45...
    Thanks very in advance.
    Claudia

    Hi
You can change the valuation method, but for that you need to have zero physical stock for that item.
Make a Goods issue entry for that Item for all the warehouses, change the method and make goods receipt entry for that item for all the warehouse.

  • Installed iTunes 11.4.0 and cannot find how to view files created by apps or screen displays for moving icons.  Where did it go?

I recently installed iTunes 11.4.0 and cannot find how to view the files created by some apps on my iPhone (and iPad).  There appears to be no way to view them as there was in the previous version.  Also can't view screens and icon positons to manipulate them in iTunes.  Any one no how to find them, or if they have been purposely removed from 11.4.0?

First, take a deep breath ... enjoy life.
Upgrade to the latest version 1.4.1. It's a free upgrade. It however will not alleviate your frustrations.
You can move a directory in Lr by clicking and dragging to a new location within the Folders panel. To create a new folder on a new drive ensure that no folders are selected (hint: click All Photographs in the Catalog panel) then click the + icon in the Folders panel. You will be presented with a dialog to choose or create a new folder.
To move selected photos to a new directory first select the images then right click the destination folder. You will be presented with several options including moving to the destination folder or creating a new folder under the destination folder.
You can also move images outside of Lr. Review these links:
