How to view logical port error log

can anybody tell me how to view the logicalport error  log

Usually in a distributed environment you would point the logical addresses to the http web server and port or to the load balancer, if you are just using a web server like OHS you can set all the logical addresses by running configure web server and select "Set the logical web address for the web applications to the web server"
If you want to see all the configuration in the Shared services registry then you can run <MIDDLEWARE_HOME>\user_projects\epmsystem1\bin\epmsys_registry.bat to generate a report and the web app configurations will be under LOGICAL_WEB_APP

  • Logical port error (WS_LOGICAL_PORT) when consuming WS in PI

    Hi All,
I am trying to integrate simple Currency Conversion Web Service witm my ECC program.
Program displays two fields in the selection screen (Currency From and Currency To)
    WS is: http://www.webservicex.com/ws/WSDetails.aspx?WSID=10&CATID=2
    The scenario is as below:
    Proxy (Z-PROGRAM ) <-sync-> PI <-sync-> WS (Currency Convertor)
Looks like ABAP Proxy is done ok.
PI configuration also looks ok as I am trying it in IB's Test Configuration tool - all steps are 'Green / Passed'
Based on WSDL 3 interfaces were generated:
    CurrencyConvertorHttpPost
    CurrencyConvertorHttpGet
    CurrencyConvertorSoap
I am using Soap one... along with WS Communication Channel
CC has configuren itself based on WSDL likn provided,
Technical Transport Settings were set to:
    Target Host:               www.webservicex.net
    Service Name / Port:     -1
    URL Access Path:          /CurrencyConvertor.asmx
Transport Binding:          SOAP 1.1 Using HTTP
Why am I getting logical port error?
Error while determining logical port Cannot find logical port for agreement EAC1E5CF03FD3B2C827ADDECA2EA6B26 and interface urn:webservicex:com:test:currencyrates.CurrencyConvertorSoap
I searched the web for error message and I found obsolete logical port configuration using LPCONFIG, and also some 'new' approach with SOAMANAGER LogPort configuraton
(When I try to do this as suggested in [document |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b04408cc-f10e-2c10-b5b7-af11026b2393?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true]
then I cannot see my newly created services on the list)
... but is this the right track to follow?
Should I run Logical Port configuration in PI?
I would appreciate your comments on this.

    bob.

    Hello,
Why am I getting logical port error?
Error while determining logical port Cannot find logical port for agreement EAC1E5CF03FD3B2C827ADDECA2EA6B26 and interface urn:webservicex:com:test:currencyrates.CurrencyConvertorSoap
WS Adapter is used for those that are using WS-RM (Webservice-Reliable Messaging)...See this blog
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b00bbb77-75bc-2a10-6b9a-a6f8161515a6, but I think for now this is limited to SAP-to-SAP connections. That is why in your error it is searching for a logical port (ABAP Proxy).
You should be using the SOAP Receiver Adapter instead.
    Hope this helps,

    Thanks in advance

    Hi everyone,
    Thanks everyone.
Guilherme, finally I understand what really happens.  "Refresh" is not working properly in the Setup Wizard.
First I have done what I can:
System    Type      Managed Products                    Product Instances
DPI           ABAP     SAP Netweaver PI 7.1               Application Server ABAP  (I could not select PI at the same time)
DPI           JAVA     SAP Netweaver PI 7.1               Application Server Java + Process Integration
But, when I refresh the browser Internet Explorer appears the following:
System    Type      Managed Products                    Product Instances
DPI           ABAP     SAP Netweaver PI 7.1               Application Server ABAP + Process Integration
DPI           JAVA     SAP Netweaver PI 7.1               Application Server Java + Process Integration
And then I do not get the error anymore. (I have to repeat step 2 in the wizard "Check Prerequisites for Diagnostics)
And If I run transaction SMSY, I can see how PI is mantained since the wizard refresh SMSY.
    Product Instance Selection tab:
Application Server ABAP (Flag selected: relevant)
Process Integration (Flag selected: Also Installed, Technical System[ DPI, Java])
Application Server Java (Flag selected: relevant, Technical System[ DPI, Java])
So, if I use this configuration in the SMSY, when I run "solman_setup",  configuring DPI (My PI7.1), when I run "Configure Diagnostics", the wizard shows ABAP + PI as expected.
    Thanks a lot Guilherme!!

  • Logical port error when accessing e-recruiting web pages

    Hi,
We are trying to set up our e-recruiting 3.0 and web dispatcher systems. We were receiving an error in our e-recruiting system in transaction SM20 that states “Logon Failed (Reason=34, Type=H)”.  The user is SAPSYS for client 000.  The system was attempting to log on to our web dispatcher system.  SAP suggested creating an entry in SM30, table VUSREXTID, mapping the External ID to our web dispatcher  system.  This entry helped in that we are not receiving the above error message anymore.  However, when we attempt to access the web pages we are receiving the error “Name of logical port ‘&lp_name&’ is invalid.  Prior to adding this entry we were able to access the logon page by entering the following url using an external alias (ex. https://recruiting.mphi.org/internal).  Recruiting.mphi.org is our web dispatcher system.  We do not want our e-recruiting system to be accessible from the outside.  We want everything to go through our web dispatcher.  Has anyone had a similar issue setting these up?
    Thanks!
    Heather

    Hello Heather,
I am no specialist in network infrastructure but i remember a customer setting up a web dispüatcher szenario. I also encountered this &lp_name& error from time to time during my work.
The error points towards damaged urls and the customer also encountered such problems when setting up the web dispatcher landscape. Sometimes the last parameter of the URL was ignored or lost. Sometimes the web dispatcher transformed the URL including the parameters. But as parameters are case sensitive transforming them to upper/lower result in errors as the system no longer recognizes them.
Perhaps you can check the URL with which the web dispatcher is calling the sap server to find out if it does any funny things w/ the links.
    Best Regards

  • How to create a new error log in VF01

How would I create a new error log upon creation of invoice in VF01 based on the billing block of order.
    Here is the scenario:
In VFO1 -->> enter delivery no. then create, but upon creation, an error message appeared incorrect.
In EDIT -->> LOG, this will appear:
    Error Log
      |
      |_____ 4981173515  000010 Document 4946087103 is blocked for billing.
The message blocked for billing is what I want to change based on what billing block in order was triggered.
    Tnx in advance!

This is controlled by your delivery to billing copy control requirement (header).  You would change the copy control config to use a new requirement and then config that requirement at the header level.  (IMG->S&D->Billing->Billing Docs->Maintain Copying Control...).  Make a copy of the existing copy requirement (in txn VOFM) and then add your code to check the block type and change the message.

    Hi Balbinot,
    Thanks for your reply.
    1. SMD_RFC user is not locked (in Solman).
    2. According to note 1008474 in Visual Administrator of Solman CTC System Properties ,I found that the BACKEND_CLIENT property is having "001" as value (001 is our BW client) but the regular client is 201 .Should the value be 201 or 001 ????
And TTJAVA_HOME is having /usr/j2sdk1.4.2_13 but our java home is /usr/jdk/instances/j2sdk1.4.2_18 should i go ahead and change this one as well?
3.E2E_WS_CONN_LOG_PORT_CREATION does not exist in PI 7.1 system ,should this be run in Solution manager ?
Please help me to solve this issue?
    Thanks,

  • How to avoid actual cost error log while confirm production order activity

    Hi
I dont want to post actual activity cost via production order activity confirmation. But i want standard value keys for my production duration purpose. So,i defined activites(strd value key) in work center without assigning cost center to that work center. While i confirm in CO11N, system throws erro log as Actual cost calculation contain errors and allows me to confirm the activities. I am doing MB31 and all CO settlement activities also. But when i try to close the order it says error log exists,so closing of order is not possible. How to overcome this problem as i dont want to capture any cost of activites via production order, but i want confirmation only for production analysis.

    Hi
Issue is resolved thru PP forum. Thanks for ur reply.
Solution lies in Control key of routing and BOM costing relevancy.

  • How to find if an error log table is related to a table....???

    Hi,
In Oracle 10g , maybe in older version too, there is the capability to create an error log table using the dbms_errlog package and create_error_log procedure...
    For exaample:

How to find afterwards that the table EMP has a related table EMP_ERROR where errors during the inserts/updates on table EMP are registered...?????

  • How to view internet ports currently in use?

I'm trying to upload a file to a video website and it refuses my connection when my router's firewall is active (even though I can browse the web and use FTP services etc). When I set my router so that my computer is in the DMZ (turning off the firewall), it works fine - but I would prefer to keep the computer firewalled and just open whichever ports are needed...

  • How to Assign Logical port for a standar Consumer proxy

    Hello,
I'm working with a SAP application creating a WS Connector that ask me for the following data:
    - Class name:
    - Logical Port name:
As far as I have read SAP delivers for this application an example implementation for the following web service: ProductionBillOfMaterialVariantBasicDataByMaterialAndPlantQueryResponse_In with the /BCV/CL_SIN_WS_BOM class.
And the help also says that We can find the example implementation delivered by SAP for the Web service ProductionBillOfMaterialVariantBasicDataByMaterialAndPlantQueryResponse_In in the package /BCV/SIN_PRX, under Service Consumer /BCV/CO_PRODUCTION_BILL_OF_MAT
In se80 transaction under /BCV/SIN_PRX package I can find /BCV/CO_PRODUCTION_BILL_OF_MATERIAL consumer proxy.
As far as I know, I just need to assign a Logical port to this proxy.
So, I go to soamanager transaction under "Service-Administration" --> "Single Service Configuration" and find this Consumer proxy. Then, under Configuration tab I select "Create logical port" option but I need to fill an URL for WSDL access.
Where can I find this URL? I think that I need to provide de WSDL URL (end point) of the ProductionBillOfMaterialVariantBasicDataByMaterialAndPlantQueryResponse_In Web Service but I can't find it on the soa manager. Or maybe I need to implement a WS by my own WB using the /BCV/CL_SIN_WS_BOM class?
I appreciate if someone could help me with these SOA concepts.
    Thanks in advance,
    Abigail.

    Hi Abigal,
In  SOAMANAGER , u can configure the logical port in 3 ways first it by WSDL and second by manually and third by PI.
    1. WSDL based :   URL will automatically determined using WSDL file.
    2. MANUAlly :   in this , we have to provide the URL .
    Thanks

  • How to Transport Logical Port in SOAMANAGER

    Hi Guys,
I have created logical port in Developement system, so while moving my proxy class to staging system, do I need to create logical port again in staging by using SOAMANAGER or is there any way to transport Logical ports created with SOAMANAGER to different systems like Staging/ Production.
    Thanks,
    Santosh

    Hi,
you need to create manually. As of standards no configuration information (url, password, transport protocol) etc transported because not necessary parameters supplied on DEV system are identical on QA or PROD system.
You can transport webservice definition and configuration need to done again using SOAMANAGER.

  • How to view which users have logged into Hyperion Planning

    Hi all,
I'm trying to determine the best way to view users that have logged into Hyperion Planning (who and when). Is there an option in Shared Services or can this be viewed through Planning by the administrator? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

Planning has never been the best at providing that information, you can look at the statistics page in planning which is pretty poor in my opinion.
The other option is audting but once again it doesn't really audit users logging in and out.
