  • How do I get LR2 to "load from device" via command line?

    Hi,
    how do I get LR2 to "load from device" via command line?
    I've got XP to load LR2 when a "camera" (and only a camera) is connected but really cool would be if LR2 would also import the pictures.

  • How do I restart the SNMP agents with the original command line options?

    I'm creating an application that changes the SNMP trap target configuration files and then restarts the SNMP agent. I'm currently working with the mibiisa agent. I want to make sure that I restart the service with the new trap targets but with the original command line options. How can I restart the mibiisa service with the same command line options that it originally loaded with?

    It is not "Network Time" that is the problem, but actually "SystemStarter." SystemStarter is an interim kludge to enable the work or the old StartupItems until they can be converted to LaunchDaemons or LaunchAgents controlled by launchd. Launcd calls SystemStarter to launch all the unconverted StartupItems. ntpd is now under the control of launchd directly.
    Launchctl is the command to load and unload the plist files, but I don't think it has a mechanism to restart a daemon.
    There are start and stop commands in launchctl, but the man page indicates that they are for debugging purposes.
    I also imagine you could just kill the ntp daemon and let it restart with new settings. It is most likely set to "keepAlive" so that it will automatically restart.

    Are you wanting to take output from a procedure/function that is in XML format and then convert it to something else?
    Are you wanting to get the procedure/function to produce output in XML format?
    Are you wanting to take an existing procedure/function and convert it so the code is stored in some XML structure for some purpose?
    How is anybody supposed to know what you're talking about if you don't explain it?

  • How do I get to a command line before X starts? I screwed up.

    I installed some drivers improperly, and now as I start up my system, it goes to X, which dies. How do I get to an Ubuntu like "recovery mode"? Where I can use a terminal to uninstall the package?

    You can try booting into single user mode and taking it from there. Also, if you're using the /etc/inittab method for starting X, you can try appending "3" to the kernel line (instead of "S", "Single" or "1"), and booting into runlevel 3 instead, which should leave you with a command line login prompt.

  • How to run labview exe with command line

    I would like to launch a labview exe with a command line.

    There is a much more detailed guide here, which I reference below:
    1. First you will enable it in the settings:
    1. Open the properties for the application's build specification
    2. Navigate to the Advanced category
    3. Check the Pass all command line arguments to application box
    To pass the command line arguments to the application and access them in your code follow the same steps as for LabVIEW 7.x.
    2. Then you will use two hypens (--) to pass command line arguments to the VI.
    When you launch LabVIEW or a stand-alone executable from the command line, you can pass user-defined arguments to the application. User-defined arguments start after two hyphens (– –) surrounded by spaces in the command line. For example, the following command line entry will launch LabVIEW 7.1 and open test.vi from the root of C:\ and pass 2 arguments, 1000 and sine:
    "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\LabVIEW.exe" "C:\test.vi" –– 1000 sine
    You can also pass a command line argument directly to an EXE without launching LabVIEW, as long as the machine has the appropriate Run-Time Engine and necessary drivers.  For example, if test.vi was built into an executable, it could be called as follows:
    "<build directory>\test.exe" –– 1000 sine
    3. Lastly, you will use a property node to wire them to your controls:
    LabVIEW passes the arguments from the command line to the block diagram of the VI or EXE you launch. You can reference the arguments in the block diagram by using the Application:Command Line Arguments selection in a property node, as shown below.

    Hi Vineet,
    To do what you are asking, I think you will want to use Ant from the command line (DOS).  Rather than go over the details of how to do that here, the Adobe Live Docs seems pretty thorough: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=anttasks_1.html

  • How to write report output into table

    Hi,
    I want to get data out from report "RSPARAM" which list all system profile parameters my requirement is that i need to write output of this report to table so can anyone please tell me how should achieve this?
    is there any FM which read report as parameters and write into table?
    thanks in advance.
    john.

    Looks like the program you are calling(rsparam) is just calling another report, RSPFPAR.  Let's just call that one directly.  Here is an updated version of the program.
    This will also put the first 3 columns in a internal table.  This should show you what you need to do.
    report zrich_0003 .
    data: begin of listout occurs 0,
          line(1024) type c,
          end of listout.
    data: begin of itab occurs 0,
          column1(100) type c,
          column2(100) type c,
          column3(100) type c,
          therest(100) type c,
          end of itab.
    * Submit the report and export list to memory
    submit  rspfpar exporting list to memory
                and return.
    * Get list from memory and convert to ascii
    perform retrieve_list_from_memory tables listout.
    loop at listout.
      if sy-tabix => 7.
        clear itab.
    split listout+1(500) at '|' into itab-column1 itab-column2
                                     itab-column3 itab-therest.
        append itab.
      endif.
    endloop.
    loop at itab.
      write:/ itab-column1, itab-column2, itab-column3.
    endloop.
    * RETRIEVE_LIST_FROM_MEMORY
    form retrieve_list_from_memory tables reportlines.
      data: list like abaplist occurs 0 with header line.
      data: txtlines(1024) type c occurs 0 with header line.
      clear list.  refresh list.
      clear reportlines. refresh reportlines.
      call function 'LIST_FROM_MEMORY'
           tables
                listobject = list
           exceptions
                not_found  = 1
                others     = 2.
      check sy-subrc = 0.
      call function 'LIST_TO_ASCI'
           tables
                listobject         = list
                listasci           = txtlines
           exceptions
                empty_list         = 1
                list_index_invalid = 2
                others             = 3.
      check sy-subrc = 0.
      reportlines[] = txtlines[].
      call function 'LIST_FREE_MEMORY'.
