How uninstall a printer from the selection list

Dear All,
I have installed a software called VipRiser, a PDF printer software but it did not work like I thought and so I deleted it again.
But there are still 3 "virtual printers" in the system:
Any idear how I can get rid of this.
The softwar has no uninstall function.
In the web I found this:
emove /usr/libexec/cups/backend/vipriser (you need be an admin)
remove /usr/share/cups/model/vipriser.ppd and /usr/share/cups/model/vipriser.icns (as an admin)
but I do not understand this unix?-commands
Can anyone help?

Updating a table with the data from the select list

I have 2 select lists on a page...first select list displays vendor no and vendor name from the table vendor (vendor_no, vendor_name, address, city, state, zip, ph no)
second list displays contact no and contact name from the table contact (contact_no, contact_name, email_addrs)
i have a submit button...once it is clicked the vendor_no from the first list and the contact_no from the second list must be inserted into the third table vendor_contact (vendor_contact_no, contact_no, vendor_no) and also there must be a condition to check if the entry already exists or not...can any one tell me how this can be done...

Why not design your page just on your third table (vendor_contact), and those fields (which will already be defined as part of that table) can be defined there as your select lists. Then make sure you have a Primary Key (or Unique Key) defined on the table to prevent duplicates.
It makes for a much cleaner looking page, and far easier to implement as well.

How do i print from the Appigo ToDo app on a Mac

Hi i am using the Appigo ToDo app on my Mac only i can't find any way to print a list of tasks from the screen. There are no menus that include a printing option and the app appears to disable the keyboard option of cmd + p. Does anyone know how to do this?

How can I print from the icon in FF5?

I have been unable to print from any of the icons in FF5. This has only occurred in the past few days. The only way I can print is to "Select" on the page, and then "Print Selection" on the print screen. I can print from IE by using the icons.
This is also true with my Yahoo email.

In Mac OS X, right-clicking the document's icon brings up a similar menu, but documents are printed from the application, not from the OS. The application is launched, the document opened,and the document sent to the printer, bypassing only the Print dialogue.
The same route may be triggered by dragging and dropping the file's icon onto the printer's icon in the Dock.

How do you print from the text (multiline) option so that all of the text is included?

I'm trying the trial version of formscentral and have made a form. In this form I used the text (multiline) option. I saved the form as a pdf and filled it out to test it. When I go to print the form the only text that appears is what's visible on the screen. How do I print the form so that all of the information is depicted?

This is something we are working on fixing but in the mean time what you can do is one of two things :
1) make the multiline fields taller so that it would fit all the text in the responses.
      You can do that by going to the Desing Tab and dragging the bottom right corner of a multiline text fields to make them bigger.
2) print the Detail View instead.
      From the View Responses Tab go to View > Detail View.
      Select the response you want to print
      Press on the printer icon at the bottom of the Detail View.
      This will print the data in a name/value pair format.

Here when I want to display records of selected benefit plans by using the field bplan. here when I go to that bplan field and press f4 then gives me a list of benefit plans, from that list I have to select proper benefitplan for selected records of that plan

I have two new plans , can any suggest me how to add in the f4 list of that field. Is it done through any program?

I have a report program, when I execute it gives me selected list fields like pernr, date, and some more fields. if you select some fields with the help of f4 , we can choose correct value,

You can create a search for that field with more than one fields and yu can add the search help for that field

4) A collective search help combines several elementary search helps. The user can thus choose one of several alternative search paths with a collective search help.
5)A collective search help comprises several elementary search helps. It combines all the search paths that are meaningful for a field.
6)Both elementary search helps and other search helps can be included in a collective search help. If other collective search helps are contained in a collective search help, they are expanded to the level of the elementary search helps when the input help is called.
CREATION:
Go to SE11 Tcode
select search help
give the 'z' search help name and create
select the selection method ur table name eg : 'mara'
dialog module 'display value immediately'.
add the field whatever u want and lpos = 1 and spos = 1 and check import and export parameter.
where left position when displaying and spos = search position
and then save and activate ..

How do I print from the photo paper cassette? It keeps using the lower tray. MX922.

How do you print out images on photo paper? I have a Canon MX922 (2013 iMac OS 10.9.4) and I can't figure out how to indicate the specific paper tray to use when printing - everything prints out from the lower, US legal size paper tray. I have 4x6 photo paper loaded vertically in the upper tray properly. I've looked under the Paper Source in both My Image Garden and the Print Dialog settings, and chosen the A4 format, but it still prints out legal size images. What am I doing wrong? Here are the settings I'm using:

Crisis averted, you have to choose the 4x6 size in the My Image Garden instead of A4. Photos are printing normally now!

How to remove addresses from the automatic list

OK, I'm using in Italian version of Mail, so I don't know the exact name of the funcion I'm having a problem with.
This is my problem: when I create a new messagge and type in the address, Mail suggest previous addresses with a pop-up list. Unfortunately this list includes old spam addresses of emails that I have received.
Could anyone tell me if it is possible to modify, even manually, such list?

The Mail.app doesn't automatically save the sender's email address for received messages but saves recipient's email addresses for all sent messages in the list of Previous Recipients in Mail.
The Mail.app autofill feature pulls from the Address Book and the list of Previous Recipients in Mail.
At the Mail.app menu bar, go to Window and select Previous Recipients.
A previous recipient entered in the Address Book will have a vCard icon to the left of the name or email address. You can remove a previous recipient from the list or add a previous recipient to the Address Book that is not already entered.
Removing a previous recipient from the list of Previous Recipients in Mail has no effect on Address Book entries.

How can I print from the ipad

I need to be able to print boarding passes the night before a flight and an occasional form sent through email. Trying to see if I can stop carrying my laptop. I can usually find a printer with USB connection so I am guessing I just buy the camera connection kit? I only see references to airprint printers (which don't appear to include many printers I have encountered).

Sounds like a reasonable thing to expect, but no, that won't work. The iPad is forcing the long-promised paperless office upon us.
A lot of airport kiosks can read the checkin barcode right off the iPad and print a boarding pass for the TSA goons to scrutinize. Don't expect the government to go paperless any time soon.
AirPrint printers have been slow to appear, but at least the selection is growing. In the meantime there are other alternatives, but you would need to install Printopia on a Mac with a shared printer, or the equivalent on a PC if there is one (I don't know of any).

How to make columns in the select list dynamic

I need to make columns in the select query dynamic.I have three tables.Table 1 contains master information lets say name of group(A group consists of members of various skill sets) and its period(A group is of specific period lets say for 18 months).Table 2 contains different skill sets corresponding to a group i.e there is one to many relationship between table 1 and table 2.Table 3 contains months information of skill sets.For example if skill set 1 is required for 5 months then there will be 5 rows(for each month) in table 3 corresponding to a skill set i.e there is again one to many relationship between table 2 and table 3.Tabale 3 will also contain man month value for perticular month.I need to show all the periods of a group and its sum of man month value for all skill sets.
If group1 is of 6 months (starts nov2006 and ends Apr2007) and has 5 skill sets then there will be one entry in table 1 and 5 entry in table 2(For skill set).For each entry in table 2 there will be 6 entry in table 3(for each month).I need to write a query which would display
Group name nov2006 dec2006 jan2007 feb2007 mar2007 apr2007
Gr1 10 15 21 17 18 22--These are sum of man month of all skill set for a particular groupIf Gr 2 is of 9 months then it would disply all the information in respective months.i.e for group 2 nine months information and group 1 six months information

You will have to first generate a code. You probably need to re-generate the code by removing web services and adding them back. The instructions for that are located under "What if I lose my printer code before registering my printer?": in the Frequently asked questions (FAQs) section here: Getting Started with ePrint
After you have the code, you can register for hpconnected.com, and it will prompt you to add your printer under the 'devices' tab. Then you can assign your printer a custom @hpeprint.com email address.

Preferred vendor not being copied from the selection list of F4 --- Shop

Hi SRM Gurus,
When we are creating a shopping cart with the sources of supply, preferred list of vendors is displayed when we click the icon next to the preferred vendor in the browser. Source of supply, F4 in GUI also gives a list of vendors but if we select the vendor name, it is not being copied.
Else, if we type the business partner number in the tab, it gets selected.
Can anyone faced the similar type of problem?
Kindly suggest.

Thanks for your reply.
I checked though. My problem is little different as I can see the list of vendors and also if I type the BP id of the particular vendor in the preferred vendor tab it works. Only I cannot doubleclick the vendors name and select it to the preferredvendor tab.
Also once selected I dont have any issues in creating the PO and the complete cycle.
Any other suggestions.

Condition that checks the value of an Item derived from a select list

I want to conditionally display and hide items in a region based on a select list item.
Some items will display when the select list is at the default (%null%) and others will be displayed when the select list user selects from the select list.
The display is then updated when the "SAVE" button is pressed and the page processed.
How do I test the select list item to be null. The condition looks like this;
Type: PL/SQL Expression
:P1_SELECT is null
I also tried, :P1_SELECT is not null and :P1_SELECT = '%nul%'.
The latter changed the condition to :P1_SELECT = ''
How can I test the valu in P1_SELECT?

I had the problem wrong.
The issue was a second field that could have a Y or N or null. When I checked it in PL/SQL expression as
:P_YN != 'Y' and :P_SELECT is null
assuming the null condition would resolve as != 'Y' I had to do an explicit check as
(:P_YN != 'Y' or :P_YN is null) and :P_SELECT is null
That fixed it.... I like null and I hate null
