this only makes sense if you test standalone applications! In this case: Run... -- Java Application -- New -- (x)=Arguments -- VM Arguments.

I'm having a book printed. I tried to upload a .pdf of InDesign using photos I edited in iPhoto 09. The printer's "preflight" system said the resolution on the photos was too low--that they'd be fuzzy. They recommend a minimum of 150 dpi. How in the world do I set that resolution? Am I going to have to re-edit them all in photoshop to do it?

You do not "set" dpi - you calculate it - Dots Per Inch - take the photo digital dimensions in pixels and divide by the inches you will be printing to get DPI
The minimum digital size for a 150 DPI print is the final print dimensions times 150 - a 4x6 print must be at least 600x900 pixels - an 8x10 at least 1200x1500 pixels - and so on

How can I set CameraRAWOpenOptions using Javascripts in Photoshop CS6?

I have been unable to set CameraRAWOpenOptions in scripts that worked fine for me in Photoshop CS5 but now do not work in Photoshop CS6. There are no error messages when I run the scripts, and they appear to finish okay, but the images come out unadjusted. Below is the essence of how I'm trying to do it. When I run these scripts in Extendscript (CS5 or CS6 does not make a difference), Photoshop CS6 simply uses its own default (saved) settings, but CS5 would allow the overrides. I did change the default settings in CameraRAW in CS6 to use the default lens correction profiles available from the EXIF data, and I'm wondering if that rendered the script unable to change any of the rest of the settings.
Here's how I have the code:

Are you talking about the internal display or an external display? 1600 x 1200 is the old style 4:3 NTSC video format and 1920 x 1200 is today's widescreen 16:10 format. They're two different animals. The native resolution and what your notebook or external display can handle or adapt to are not necessarily the same thing.

No, there isn't a way to adjust the iPad resolution.
Which iPad do you have? Perhaps letting the vendor know which version you have can help them create a app that would work on your one, although there shouldn't ever be a resolution issue.

I get the frequency spectrum of my real time signal. Frequency span that I want to analyze is 0~500hz. I get that span by setting the sampling rate. But the frequency resolution coming on graph is of 100hz (as shown in attachment). My requirement is to have frequency resolution of 10hz with same frequency span. Please guide me how can I achieve this.

I set the dt value to 0.002. For this I set sampling rate 2000hz and no.of samples 1000000. In this way I achieve frequency span of 250hz. But resolution is still 100hz (as shown in attach 1). My question is how can I set resolution to 10hz? I increase the number of samples but from doing this only the frequency span changes and resolution remain same as 100hz. Resolution become 10hz only when I set total frequency span to 50 hz (but My frequency span of intrest is 0~500hz or 0~250hz not below thos).
I am attaching the gaph in attachment 2 from where you can undersatnd what type of resolution and frequency span I want.

Hi Mithlesh,
javascript runs on client side and you cannot assign the value to a Page attribute directly.
As a workaround,you can use an Inputfield,hidden if required,and set the value using javascript.Then the form will have to be submit to be able to read the value in onInputProcessing and then can be assigned to any variable.
