For a particular sales order,you have to pass the order number and the item number in the sales order.
It will display the rest of the values which u can capture them using internal tables.

How to avoid use of function module in case of background jobs?

Hi ,
I am working a file tranfer interface .Functionality is to extract file either apllication or presentation server , and process the file through bapi , send the result in their respective server. This program should run through batch jobs in background mode.
I am using following function module :
SUBST_GET_FILE_LIS : Get the file list from application server
TMP_GUI_DIRECTORY_LIST_FILES : Get the file list from presentation server
GUI_UPLOad : to extract file data from presentation server
GUI_downLOAD : to download data to presentation server
in case of background job these function modules will not work.... so how to resolve this issue...
what are the methods we can apply?

Hi,
This FM is used to get list of files from Application server (will work in Background). This cannot be used to list files from presentation server. There is no way , by which you can process presentation server files in background mode.

In XI 3.0 we are tyring to setup SAPconnect;
1 Step; Create RFC connection for Mlunxsnd file, anyway!!! we download thease file and create RFC connection; fine working no error
2 Step: Create Nodes T-code SCOT => connection INT => and support address type like Internet its just show only "PDF, HTM, TXT" thats it its not show some others format
3. Step; When check email T-code SOST Getting an error messages: "Connot process message in node, parameters cannot be converted"
4. In R3 RPD and Others system when I check format its ok its show some others format which is support to be such as "ALI, OBJ, OTF, SCR, URL" ...
How may install these format in XI 3.0
Please Advice I will be really appriciated

I am trying to use the function module L_TO_CREATE_SINGLE, i fill in the T_LTAK-MBLNR and T_LTAK-MJAHR. But do not know which fields to fill in.

can you tell us the name of the transaction in which you saw this field?
If it is in PO Creation or Change you can probably look at the bapis
BAPI_PO_CREATE or BAPI_PO_CHANGE

Get purchase order doc date using BAPI function module

I have a .net windows application that uses BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL function module to get particular details of a PO in SAP. But i am not able to get the "Doc Date" for a particular PO. I am able to get all the details of items from the table "PO_ITEMS ". I used only 1 input parameter "PURCHASEORDER".
Please help me to get this thing done

Material creation for All VIEW using BAPI Function modules

Dear All,
             I want to create materials for all views using BAPI F.Ms. By using BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA i have extended materials for for only specified views. now my requirement is to create Material with All views including Classfication view also. For this i found BAPI_OBJCL_CREATEFM.
         Tell me that shall i use both Fm's at time to create material.Will it work? According to my knowledge we need to create Characters first ,then we should assign this character to this class, then while creation of material we should select this class .
        so pls guide me the procedure to follow for both FM's .
Note : Pls don't suggest me LSMW OR BDC procedure.

U can use both the FM. using BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA u can create all the views and for classification view use BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE. before assigning class to material u hve to make sure that the characteristics are uploaded and is attched to the class using transaction CL03.

HR ABAP - Using of function module HR_READ_INFOTYPE

I want to replace the below SELECT statement with the function module by HR_READ_INFOTYPE.
IF l_begda LE '20100331'.
          l_assgnda = '20100401'.
        ELSE.
          l_assgnda = l_begda.
        ENDIF.
SELECT SINGLE werks
        FROM pa0315
        INTO e_t_data-zz_werks
        WHERE pernr = wa-pernr
        AND endda GE l_assgnda
        AND begda LE l_assgnda.
But the problem is, in the where condition i have to use LE or GE condition for endda and begda. So how can i use the function module for replacing the select statement without changing the functionality.

You are selecting a single entry... So you will just need to pass the variable l_assgnda to the BEGDA and ENDDA parameters of the FM...
added: also, if that infotype can have concurrent records (but in that case the select is not correct), you will have to take the first one from INFTY_TAB...

Partner Function Upload using BAPI function BAPIBUSISM007_CREATEFROMDATA

I can able to create Business Partner in SAP using BAPI function module BAPIBUSISM007_CREATEFROMDATA but i don't able to upload partner function (i.e. It will come under Sales Area) using this BAPI. I don't want to go for BDC method.Is there any function modules. Is there any function modules or BAPI to upload partner function. Please suggest me.

Later i created LSMW for XD02 and uploaded partner functions for those BPs.

I am webdynpro java developer, In my application i created model using bapi function module and fetch those values using iviews mapping to custom controller . While running that application i got an error as shown below

Have you deployed your application?because it is mentioned that the "Searchapp"(which i suppose is your application) is not deployed.
Take the "Deploy and Run" option by right clicking the application(i mn Seachapp). It will prompt you to enter the SDM password. Give the pwd and it will open the explorer and will show you the output.

"CNTL_ERROR" raised , when using a Function Module

Hi All,
I am trying to reuse an existing Function module. This function module, fetches data in an internal table and creates a popup using ALV, using the Call Screen statement. I cannot modify this function module.
Is there any method, how I can use this Function Module in Web Dynpro Application(which would be executed from portal) , because if I use it directly, I get an error .. Exception condition " CNTL_ERROR" raised as the Custom Container object doesn't get created. As far as I understand, we cannot use such a function module directly, but please let me know if there Is any work around apart from creating a new function module.

If the correct configuration allows for manual entry of the condition type you want to populate, You can map your value using
' ORDER_CONDITIONS_IN' . If item level map line number, cond step number of the condition type in your pricing procedure, your condition type you are using, condition value you are sending into the system, currency, and cond unit. If it is a header condition, then send in 000000 as the item number.   You can also consider using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2
