Howto clear datagrid contents?

Is there an easy way to simply clear all the contents that
were previously displayed in a datagrid?
I have a datagrid, when a user logs in, they can hit refresh
and it will populate the datagrid. But I would like to clear the
contents when the user logs off. Or simply by clicking a button to
clear all of the contents.
Does anyone have any ideas on this? I've searched the forums,
but nothing popped up.

So I have this function to create my output that I use to
populate the datagrid:

Can I simply do this (below) and set it equal to nothing? It
seems to work, but I want to check to see if it's acceptable?

Today I had the screen of the old 4s fixed. Now I want to clear all contents and installation so that I can sell it.
Problem is, that it keeps asking me to verify my Apple ID with my old e-mail address, which obviously doesn't work.
I've allready changed the Apple ID e-mail address in the Apple-ID area in settings. But this doesn't help.
Does anyone know the way out of this?!?

Need to function module to clear Subscreen contents

Hi.
can anyone say Function module which clears the contents of Subscreen when navigated from subscreen to subscreen.
MY Problem:
i have 6 subscreen.(A,B,C,D,E,F) each subscreen has 100 checkboxes.
i checked some checkboxes of subscreen A. And navigated to subscreen B. And again navigated back to subscreen A.
I found all the checkboxes what i checked before are checked. I want them to be unchecked(screen not refreshed), when i come back to that subscreen.
Any Function module avaliable to refresh screen contents.
Help me.

Don't think so. I am affraid you will have to clear all checkboxes one by one. Anyhow you can use field symbols to address them dynamically and clear their content.

I was using a 'build table' to collect some datas and pass it to an 'Express table'.
what are the possible options to clear the contents of that table?
How can i clear the contents using a 'button'?

Build table function has an additional input called 'Reset'
Attach a boolean to it.
On front panel, set the boolean's mechanical action as 'latch when released'

U need to clear the contenents of internal table used to store the record displayed by table control.
Every time the PBO is triggered the table control is automatically cleared, so you need only not to transfer any data from internal table to table control.
So you should show how your PBO if you want a right answer.

I think you have doen some thing like this in PBO.
screen_field_name = 'some value'.
So now in PAI you can do the following.
CASE sy-ucomm.
WHEN 'F_CLEAR'. " Fcode for the clear button in the screen.
CLEAR : field_name.
ENDCASE.
If the field is a mandatory field then you need to create a AT EXIT module and write the same code in that.

Clear the contents of a field on open

Hello,
I would like to clear the contents of a field upon opening a form record. This field will then be populated with the logged on user name, V('APP_USER'). This is to display the user who last edited the record.
Does anyone know how to do this? The field will only update if it is empty to start with so I need to delete the field contents only if the 'Save' button is pressed and then replace it with the current logged in user.

I read that it's safe/ok to clear all contents inside /var/folders and saves GB and computer goes faster. Any feedback for this ?

But then I inserted a DVD movie that I created using iMovie and it told me the same thing. No matter what DVD I inserted, I got the same response..Does this mean that the Optical Drive is dead? There are two schools of thought on external optical drives.
You can go with cheap drives (anything under $50) and know going in that you may have to replace the drive in a year or two if you use the drive regularity.
The other thought is to purchase more expensive drives that will last longer than two or three years that are faster and are bulit to be more durable and rugged.
I am in this camp.

Sounds like you did not set back as new, or if you did you reset the iPad with your Apple Id again.
If it had been reset back as new it would have stayed at the Begin Setup screen, and you wouldn't have been able to see any Apps being downloaded, as you wouldn't have acccess to the Home Screen yet.
Follow Diavonex's post to restore the iPAd back to factory defaults, and that's it. It should be back to the Setup screen, without any Apple Id associated with it, and no Home screen visible.

Settings > General > Usage - Photos & Camera.
Swipe across Camera roll then tap Delete.

I have checked the idc analyze. "check search index" is not running shows error. please check the log file below without selecting "check search index" other three(check database, check file system, generate report) ends with 0 errors. Is there any other solution to clear the workflow items?

Clear UDF contents

Hi,
We have a UDF in the header level of our ItemMaster data. The number in this field is used to calculate discount and new price.
The trouble now is that we need to remove all of these numbers using DTW, there are too many to update manually.
I tried using a / in the fields we want cleared but it seems to give the UDF a value of 0 instead of clearing it completely (I am assuming this is because the UDF is defined as a numeric value).
Is it possible to use DTW to "clear the contents" of a UDF, as opposed to replacing it with a "0"?

This UDF doesn't have valid fields defined.
This goes back to a thread I posted some time ago asking about item based quantity discounts. Even though the functionality exists within SBO, our partner company had to write an addon to handle this (not sure why).
So we have 6 total UDFs.
Level1Qty - 2
Level2Qty - 4
Level3Qty - 6
Level1Price - .90
Level2Price - .80
Level3Price - .70
If the buyer purchases 2 of an item they get the level 1 price, 4 items gets them level 2 price, 6 items gets them level 3 price.
By using DTW to replace the numbers (they are all just numeric values) with zeros, I am worried that it is going to adjust the price for all of these items to $0.00 regardless of how many they buy. This is why I would prefer to have the fields blank.
The only work around I can think of is to set all of those field values to 9999999 since no one will ever buy 999999 of an item.
I would prefer to stay away from editing via SQL unless necessary. What are the steps involved in doing it via SQL?

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. Temp files get automatically deleted when you restart. Old apps you can either uninstall (if it was originally installed with an installer, there should be an uninstaller somewhere) or drag it to the trash. What's "old content"?

Is there an easier way to clear out files (send to trash) from the downloads folder, other than dragging one by one? The downloads folder closes immediately upon dragging one file out.

You do not need to invoke Finder to do this. Create a new empty Automator workflow and use the "Run Shell Script" option. Paste in the following....
mv ~/Downloads/* ~/.Trash
You can then save the workflow as an application, attach it as a Finder action or add it to the scripts menu, whichever you like better.
If you would like to bypass the Trash and just completely delete the Downloads folder contents immediately, then paste in this command:
rm -rf ~/Downloads/*
