  • SCCM OSD for Windows 8.1 - TPM Owner Password not found

    Hello,
I have been actively using these forums and the TechNet Guidance for the MBAM 2.5 client deployment, however I am still seeing some issues and looking for appropriate steps to troubleshoot.
I have a MDT Integrated Task Sequence to deploy Windows 8.1 to various machines. The Windows 8.1 Image has been created via a MDT 2013 Build & Capture Task Sequence on a VM and then imported into SCCM 2012 R2. In the MDT Image creation I am disabling
TPM Auto Provisioning by adding the Registry Key as per link below.
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/dn260276.aspx
The MDT Task Sequence has had the built-in Pre-Provision Bitlocker and Enable Bitlocker Steps disabled. I have included a step that runs the Clear-TPM powershell command before the Setup Windows and ConfigMgr and I have to confirm the TPM clearance at the
    first reboot.
To begin the MBAM encryption I have scripts as supplied from the blog, firstly prepares the drive, reboots, installs MBAM 2.0 SP1, then encrypts.
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/deploymentguys/archive/2012/02/20/using-mbam-to-start-bitlocker-encryption-in-a-task-sequence.aspx
The machine encrypts every time and the Recovery Key is escrowed, however I have not been able to get the TPM Owner Password
Any troubleshooting steps for the TPM Owner Password would be greatly appreciated

  • NB500-10F - Drivers for Windows XP

    Dear friends
I have Toshiba NB500-10F (PLL50E) and I install Windows XP on it but I can't find the drivers for the LAN,WLAN and VGA that work with XP.
    Can any one help me?

    Hi mostafaalsaddy,
You will not find any drivers for Windows XP on NB500 because this old Windows version is not supported. Everything what you can download on Toshiba website are drivers for Windows 7 but Windows XP is not supported.
If you cant believe it check the page yourself:
    http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads > Download Drivers
Maybe you can find on external pages some 3rd party drivers but there is no official support for XP. You should install new and better Windows 7 on this great netbook ;)

    Hi,
Too early to ask, they may come one day. HP people are testing new Windows 10 like you and me and they will anounce a list of machines which support Windows 10, similar to Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 (note: not all machines will support Windows 10).
Please use Windows 10 updates, it's very good on my machine, only 1 driver missing and I won't bother to find it now because it MAY come at a later date (or it may not come at all. That's life).
    Regards.

  • SL500 Drivers for Windows 7

Hi! Have looked for a solution to my problem without clear success.
I have an SL500 (Model & Type: 27464RM) which I upgraded from Vista Business to a purchased copy of Windows 7 Home Premium (upgrade).
Due to the significantly slow performance using Vista I decided to ensure ALL aspects of Vista were discarded and formatted the C:\ drive, Q:\ and S:\ drives (all my data was backed up on external drive)
Installing Windows 7 would have to have been the easiest installation of an OS I have ever done.  I now had a very quick performing SL500 laptop running Windows 7.  However, on closer inspection I needed to install drivers from Lenovo.  Unfortunately I couldn't find anything that told me which drivers I needed specifically or what order to install them.  I began installing SL500 drivers from the bottom of the list up - still not sure if this was the right thing to do.
I now have three errors associated with drivers to fix:
    1.     Driver Not Installed - Unknown device ACPI\LEN0014 - Whilst a driver for ACPI for Vista & XP is avaiable I have not found one for Windows 7 for Lenovo SL500.  Can someone please advise what device this is?  I do not think this issue is causing me any problems.
    2.     Driver Not Installed - Base System Device (PCI bus 13, device 0, function 2) - I found a thread recommending to install Ricoh multi-card driver, however, there is no such driver for SL500.
    3.     Driver Not Installed - Base System Device (PCI bus 13, device 0, function 3) - same issue as above.
I do not know what PCI 13 controls and would appreciate knowing.
My main concern is trying to connect my HP Officejet Pro K5300 (via USB) which I downloaded and installed the Windows 7 driver (before installing Lenovo drivers) and can not get the printer to print resuting in the error - "Unable to establish two way communication" and wonder whether any of the above driver issues are causing my problem?
I am thrilled with the increase in performance of the SL500 using Windows 7, but would like to resolve my couple little issues and hope someone can help.
    Thanking you
    Joanne

Have you tried using the Thinkvantage system update?
    Cheers and regards,

  • Drivers for Windows Vista 64-bit on Satellite L300-1AM

When I can get drivers for Windows Vista 64-bit? Or I need to intall 32-bit drivers on my 64-bit Vista operating system?
    Please links ;)

    [Toshiba - Download Drivers|http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp]
In the Drivers Search Page (the link above) select these filters:
    _Product type:_ +Notebook+
    _Family:_ +Satellite+
_Product Series:_ +Satellite A Series+ (don't try the L series if you want to find anything useful)
    _Operating System:_ +Windows Vista 64 Bit+
_Country:_ +World Wide+ (you have to select this in order to get rid of those multiple country options available for the modem)
    _Language:_ +English+ (obviously)
Don't modify any other filter. The results will be about 100 (maybe more, but the site is set to show up to 100 results).
    Advices:
    1. Download the latest versions only (there's no point in downloading multiple versions of the same driver, yet they will be shown in the search results area)
    2. Download what's specific to your laptop only (network - RealTek, both wired and wireless; chipset and graphics - Intel; modem - Toshiba; webcam - Chicony; there's no point in downloading anything from otehr vendors - except maybe the touchpad, but Windows can handle it properly without aditional drivers)
    3. Don't download any BIOS or Firmware file; they might not be for your notebook, and installing the wrong ones is a sure path to screwing up your notebook (and losing the warranty); if you need them upgraded, go to the download page for your specific model, Windows XP or Windows Vista 32 Bit drivers (since they are OS independent anyway)
Toshiba utilities (DVD Player, ConfigFree, etc.) should be OK too (again, download the latest version only).
BTW, I own 2 Toshiba notebooks (L300-1AM and L300-1AN; quite similar, the differences are in HDD and CPU only) and I had the same problem: no 64-bit drivers (and the same "support"). Quite strange the idea that Toshiba is testing these 64-bit drivers before releasing them (according to a previous post), since the same drivers, for the very same chipsets - but installed on other models - are available. Windows Vista 64-bit is out on the market for nearly 2 years now, the production of these models has already been stopped (and I assume they have not been produced during one night only :) ), yet they had no time to test the drivers... High-class support from Toshiba!

When you go to install the graphics you have to install these drivers in this order and reboot after each installation.
    1. Intel chipset installation utility.
    2. Intel HD graphics driver.
    3. Nvidia HD graphics driver.

  • No drivers for windows 7 64 bit for PI21AG

    I just paid $170 for a Cisco Aironet  802.11a/b/g Wireless PCI Adapter ( AIR-PI21AG-A-K9 ).
I was suprised to discover that it doesnt have drivers for windows 7 64bit. for the price of one of these it should be able to be supported on windows 7.
ive tried to run it on compatibility mode for vista and still nothing. this is very fustrating for an expensive product.

    Hello,
I have the same issue; the Vista drivers don't work for me, the computer hangs; what's worse is that they even hang a computer with Vista.
What can I do? This is very frustrating
    thanks

  • AirPort Extreme Drivers for Windows XP???

This may be a very silly question, but I've got a new Mac Pro that will be arriving in two days and I couldn't help but wonder, "How will the AirPort Extreme WiFi card be able to connect to the Internet when I'm running Windows XP from a separate hard drive using Boot Camp?
The Internet connection in my apartment is wireless only (coming from a router upstairs in my landlord's part of the house). Are there any AirPort Extreme drivers for Windows XP? If so, I have not been able to find anything online.
Any suggestions on how to do this?
    Thanks,
    ~Greg

    Thanks for the info Stefan,
However, I don't think that the Macintosh driver CD will do me any good in this case because I am not planning on running the 32 bit version of Windows XP. I will be installing XP64 tomorrow once my CD arrives in the mail.
I've heard of quite a few people who are currently running XP64 on their Mac Pro's, but I'm also pretty sure that the driver CD created by Boot Camp will only work in Windows XP 32-bit.
If ANYONE knows of a work around for installing macintosh drivers for my super drive and airport extreme, PLEASE let me know, because I will most certainly need to be able to use my wireless card and keyboard (especially for the CD tray)
    Thanks,
    Greg

  • AUDIO DRIVER of compaq presario f761us for windows XP

where can I down load the audio driver for windows XP.

ps: there is no audio driver in HP's web sit as below,
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=228&lc=en&cc=au&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=36787...
    Thank you.

    Hi:
I looked around and all I could find were audio drivers for Windows Vista.
If you can connect your notebook to the internet, I recommend you download and run this free tool called Device Doctor. It has helped me out lots of times.
It will scan you computer and then find the drivers from a database somewhere in cyberspace.
Hopefully it will point you to the XP audio driver. I don't recommend you update any drivers that are working but for ones that you can't find, you have nothing to lose.  Again, your notebook must be connected to the internet for this to work.

Where can I find the drivers for windows 8.1 for this monitor?
Please note that the Win7 x64 drivers are not accepted by Win8.1 x64.
Adding it as legacy hardware with the INF provided by the Win7 install program doesn't work either.
Please help! I bought these two monitors just a year ago and now they're useless already!

Hey there. I'm also looking for the same. Was there ever anything released?
