HP Proliant DL370 G6 The controller was built as Raid 1 and I would like to make it Raid 5.

I am not sure if this is in the right forum. I didn't see servers. I would like to discuss Raid 1 to Raid 5.
I have a Proliant DL370 G6 with 8 driives.
2 140gb.
6 500gb
In server Manager I see
disk 0 with 136gb NTFS
disk 1 465gb NTFS
disk 2 465gg NTFS
disk 3 465gb NTFS
Not sure why he chose this over raid 5 but as a file server I would want to have less drive letters and more capacity.
The bad part is that we are using the server so I need to backup and rebuild over a week.
My ? is if I rebuild to Raid 5 will I be able to leave Disk 0 alone as this is wher the OS resides. I would like to rebuild Disk 1,2,3 to raid 5. Can I also reduce the drive letter from 3 to 1 giving us full capacity on one drive letter?

You need to dispute the transaction with your credit card company. Apple is only a merchant. You can also contact the iTS web based customer service and tell them but they will direct you to dispute with the CC company.
Change your iTS password.

Yes - well you have to make the file in a word processing Application.
You could use TextEdit (it's free) Pages (words only), or Numbers (data base) (they are part of iWorks - and may or may not be free (included) on your machine. You could use MS Office (it is not free) You could use any Open source word processor that plays well with Office (NeoOffice, StarOffice) they are free.
That's how you create content and copy/paste URLS. Then you save the file to the desktop. If you are going to make more than one file... you make a folder on the desktop and save, or drag the file(s) into it.
You attach it to your e-mail client which will compress it and e-mail it. An excellent reference is to use Help, from the menu bar, also from inside any application. From your library or book store the OS X for Dummies has a lot of useful information (you don't read it cover to cover but look up chapters about what you'd like to do)

How do I change the image title when it is uploaded from iphoto to iweb. At the moment the image title is /shapeimage_2.png and I would like to put in something more relevant than just shapeimage_2?
When you drag images from iPhoto to iWeb, iWeb retains the original filename.
When you use a mask, iWeb creates a png file with the shapeimage name.
So do not use a mask and crop your images before dropping them on the iWeb canvas.
When you use an irregularly shaped mask, then png files are created. They have to be png because of the transparency of the shape.
You can use a 3rd party application to create the png images yourself, and give them a proper name.
Or use the published png files, rename them and drop them back onto the iWeb canvas, while first removing the previous images. -

I would like to transfer all of my contents to the younger version, Iphotos, itunes, apps, docs, mail and all? Whilst retaining all of the info still on the newer version. I have backed up onto a 1Tb hard drive (iomega) and thats where the trouble has started.......
It will not let me transfer across, you know the story......different user, keychain, system already exists etc etc.
Is there an easy way of having one access (without it keeping the original user hidden away to P*ss you off from time to time) i don't want to see his name appear now or in the future, just my name, on my Macs, that I bought with, my money.........

PJWell there is Migration Assistant in the Utilities folder and that's designed to migrate user accounts from a same or older machine to a newer one. But that comes later.
You want to retain the previous owners data but want to delete his name from the machine, so your going to need to have Admin access on that newer machine or access to his account to get the data off the machine first to a external drive by copying the users folders (music, pictures, movies, documents etc.)
To get the old user off the machine unfortunalty requires wiping the entire drive of all data, including programs installed and the operating system and all accounts, then installing OS X fresh again and setting it up like a brand new machine.
Apple squirrels the original user name all over the machine, and the only way to get rid of it all is to wipe the drive completely.
Once OS X is reinstalled, and you go through the setup process, the Setup Assistant will transfer the User account of the older machine to the newer one via Firewire Target Disk Mode, or via a external TimeMachine drive made on the older machine. Then you can transfer the user data from the backup drive you made earlier.

I have MacBook Pro. I have my iPhoto library on external hard drive only. It has 30,000 photos on it. I have bought a 2nd external hard drive and would like to copy my iPhoto library onto it as a back up. I tried plugging both in and dragging the iPhoto library into the 2nd external harddrive. It looked as though it was working as it said 20 hours, however I then got a message box saying FiNader could not complete the task due to incompatible files. How do I do this please.

The TOU for these forum state that you should test your answers prior to posting them -- you obviously are not doing that and you advice is endangering users photos - please only post tested answers

Have you failed to regularly backup the device to iTunes or iCloud? If so, the data is gone.
If there are backups, restore the most current one from prior to the data disappearing. -
Hi... I would like to purchase a Tablet Sony Xperia Z 2 10.1 (the last one of the Z series) and I was told that Adobe does not support Sony anymore.... I need to be able to open and read Adobe PDF files and I would like to know if this tablet can still use Flash Player...

I asked in the shop and I was told "yes of course" , but when I contacted Sony directly I was advised to check with Adobe as apparently in the recent months Adobe and Sony haven't been getting along anymore...You may be mixing up two entirely different Adobe products.
1. Adobe Flash Player. Needed to view web pages designed with Flash. Not needed to view PDF files. Not available for Android (not just Sony).
2. Adobe Reader. Reads PDF files. However, the Android can also read most PDF files without needing Adobe Reader. -

Do you mean the App Store app on your iPad ? If you do then it can't be deleted, but you might have hidden it via Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps 'off' - if that is 'off' then turn it back 'on' and the app should show on one of your iPad's home screens again

iCloud's mail server settings are different from MobileMe's. Strictly speaking Lion 10.7.2 is required for iCloud, and on that Mail is set up automatically.
Snow Leopard cannot access most of iCloud's facilities, however you can set Mail up manually to access your email. The method is described here:

iCloud cannot access your AOL account (the MobileMe facility for checking external POP accounts does not exist in iCloud) - you will have to do this in the Mail application in the usual way. You could of course set up forwarding from your AOL account to iCloud (assuming they provide this facility) but you will not be able to reply using iCloud's SMTP server with anything other than the iCloud address as the 'From' address. -
