HR-ABAP delimitaion of the relation.

Hi Friends,
I want to know which function module is used to delimit the relation between Org & Position.
That function module should be wokred like pp02 delimitation activity.
Here i have the requirement to create the realtion , delimit the relation and enddate change for a relation.
Should not use the BDC of PP02 for this.
I am able to do the creation by using RH_INSERT_INFTY_1001_EXT function module by passing the fcode as 'INSE' and to do the enddate change by using the same FM by passibg the fcode as 'AEND'.
But don't know which one(FM) is exactly suitable for the delimitation.
please let me know.....

I try to add a custom WD ABAP application to the related activities of our managers. Please could you tell me exactly what I have to do to achieve this? I've found many threads on SDN about this topic but I was not able to implement a working solution. Here's what I've done so far :
1. create a WDJ iView using the RelatedActivitiesLauncherApp application and Service ID Z_SERVICE (is this the id of the service we create at step 3 or the name of the ICF service corresponding to my WDA app? what should I put in the object name field?)
2. create a new resource Z_RESOURCE with URL of PCD page = id of iView created at step 1 (which format should I use : "pcd:portal_content..." or something like "ROLES://portal_content..." ?)
3. create a new service Z_SERVICE (same id used at step 1) and indicates service type = WD ABAP and resource = Z_RESOURCE (created at step 2)
4. assign service Z_SERVICE to subarea MSS_HCM_SUB_RELATEDACTIVITY_ESS
I'm able to see the new link in the related activities but my WDA app is not launched when I click on it.

to integrate a WDA application into the related links area you have to perform the following tasks:
1.) The Service called from the related links area has to be a service/iview based on the WDJ application "sap.com/mss~hras/RelatedActivitiesLauncherApp". This iview has a property in category "Self Services" named "Service-ID". Here you pass the Homepage Framework Service ID from your custom WDA application.
2.) Your WDA application needs to retrieve the pernr the WDJ Starter application "sap.com/mss~hras/RelatedActivitiesLauncherApp" has stored in the ABAP memory in your Backend. You do this with the Functionmodules from Functionmodulegroup "HRASR00_WDA_SET_GET_DATA". The Pernr Memory Id is "MSS01" if i remember right.
Thats it. I hope it does help.
Anyway... I've created a Web Dynpo Abap iView as you suggested and everything works fine. Now I just have to find a way to find out which employee is selected in my WDA app.

If you check the box 'cancel requisition' when you cancel the PO, the req is cancelled, else the req is not cancelled and should become available again in the autocreate pool.

When I start Acrobat the related window opens normally but, after some scroll up and down along the document, it blocks, Acrobat doesn't respond to any command I can give and, in place of the pointer arrow, a vertical bar, as the one of the text editor appears. The only way I can stop Acrobat is by means of the task manager. I tried to de-install and the re- install Acrobat but the behaviour is always the same. What can I do??

Have you opened Acrobat and gone to Help>Updates to get an updated install?

How to remove bullets and spacing for url links in the Related Links iview?

I tried to look for a property that I can edit the look-n-feel of the url links in the Related Link iView using "Theme Editor".
All I need is to remove the bullets and increase some vertical spacing between the links.
Currently, it looks like this:
URL iView A
URL Iview B
I go through the whole section of Related Links properties, none of them seems to do what I want.
Here are the list of properties in Related Link section (of Navigation Panel):
Link Color
Text Decoration of Link
Hover Color
Text Decoration of Hovered Link
Initially, I thought "Text Decoration of Link" should be the right property I should look at. But there are a drop-down with 5 options: None, Underline, Blinking, Overline and Line-Through, which really can't achieve what I want.

I checked the Related iView properties (URL Template), I don't see what layoutset it is really using. I am not sure, is that a layout set apply to the Related Link Iview?
For the regular KM iView, I will see what Layout Set I want to apply, then I can go and change the properties (of layout coontroller, collection renderer & resource renderer)you mentioned. But for this Related Link iView, I really don't know. I guess it may be in the code itself.
If there is a layout set for Related Link iView (or the place to apply layout set to it), can you point to me which one is that? (I did a search through the layout set names, I only find the AppQuicklinkExplorer (I used this for Dynamic Nav. Link iView before), if I can aply this layout set to Related Link iView, my problem will be solved.)

Siri has a problem with the relations of my contact

Recently i deleted my iCloud id from my iPhone and added another, making sure i get to trasfer all my contacts to the new one. All went well, but since then Siri, despite the fact that she knows who i am, won't relate to my contacts, mother, father, girlfriend etc.
The related contacts are there and all's well. I even deleted my own contact and started from scrath but every time i tell her to call "x" she says there's a problem.

I am Working on a panel for Adobe Premiere pro CC, Now we got a panel set up which will install all the related folders and files which are part of the Extension content folder in the
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files \Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\extensions \Panel\CONFIG folder. But we need to change this location to C:\Users\USER\APPDATA folder or any other user specified folder during installation itself.
Is there any way to do this from extension builder?

Got it !! Hybrid extensions.
I am using Adobe Extension builder 3 in Eclipse to code and create the zxp for Premiere pro panel.
Seeing the hybrid extension part in HTML Panels Tips: #10 Packaging / ZXP Installers | Photoshop, etc. I have added a hybrid extension panel using the bundle manifest editor in the extension builder. it creates an mxi file automatically with all the properties, I have to change the maximum host version number in the mxi file in order to make the extension work in the Premiere pro CC 2014. Using the Hybrid option in the Bundle manifest editor we can choose a set of folder paths for placing the files during installation itself and later can be used using 'csInterface.getSystemPath(SystemPath.CODE)' from javascript functions to modify them.

You can extend this as far as you like -- it's really easy and MUCH MUCH easier than the old way with fieldcatalogs etc etc.

Need Recommendation of Online Sources in Learning to Use the Relational DBs

Please recommend some online sources in learning to use the relational databases; such as the ways relational databases are different from flat files, how to retrieve data from relational database tables. Thank you.

Actually I figured the OP was looking for a source that would instruct one in building ones own database rather than using an existing one.
Myself I would just buy a book (or read the one I already have.) I wouldn't expect to find to many sources like that online althoug one might find some college course materials for a class.

How to finish ABAP program in the process chains

we have one ABAP program in the process chains which was created in the BW system only.
this program we are using in the synchronous mode. according to my understanding we can not capture the failure of the ABAP program when it is in the synchronous mode.
but i found a way through one this forum topic to capture the failure of the program through asynchrous mode by calling a function module RSPC_ABAP_FINISH but it was with the R/3 program in BW.
can we use the same function module for BW program also.
kindly let me know what steps we need to follow for the BW program in the process chains to capture the failure status.

I want to include a abap routine in the infopackage for Multiple Selection so that I can fetch only the required Material Numbers when the InfoPackage is schedule. As I have the constraints that I have to select certain Material Numbers only, that are not in series - so I cannot select"BT' fuction. Tell me what ABAP Code will work in this scenario.
