HR master table needed

Hi All,
   what is the master table for all Employees.I need Employee No and Employee name
   PA0001 and PA0002 are not the master tables.
  Please help me out.
Regards
Kumar

Hi Kiran,
  Master table is PA0003, where all pernrs will be
  stored here.But to get employee name you can use
  PA0001-ENAME (Formatted name of employee)
  PA0001-SNAME (Employee's name)
  For last name and first name you can check
  PA0002-VORNA and PA0002-NACHN.
  Hope this will you.
Thanks & Regards,
Srilatha.

  • NEED HELP ASAP-populate contents from 5 tables into one master table

    Scenario:
    Assign a new_customer_id to each existing customer of our three business. A master lookup table (M) was given to me with pre-populated (SEQ_NOs), (NEW_CUSTIDs), and NULL in (OLD_CUSTIDS). My duty is to
    (1) Fill the M.OLD_CUSTID column with existing customer ids from T1, T2, T3 (uniquely).
    (2) Once the master lookup table is filled, add (SEQ_NO), and (NEW_CUSTID) column to the 3 existing customer tables to hold the new information.
    (3) At the end of the project, remove the existing customer ids from the T1, T2, T3.
    My problem is that there are no associations between the master table and existing customer tables (no keys). The code would be:
    update M
    set OLD_CUSTID= (select OLD_CUSTID from T1 where M.??=T1.??)
    Since the M.OLD_CUSTID and T1.NEW_CUSTID are NULL at this stage, and there are no keys to tie them together. I don't know how to fill both tables. Can someone help me ASAP? Thanks in Advance.
    -ORACLE Newbi

    I am building a "MASTER LOOKUP TABLE" to map the NEW_CUSTID and the OLD_CUSTID. The columns in this M table are:
    CREATE TABLE MKT.M
         "LOOKUP_SEQ" INTEGER, <=== from sequence
         "NEW_CUSTID" CHAR(6), <=== populated with strings given by biz analyst
         "OLD_CUSTID" INTEGER, <=== need to dump all existing custid (unique)
         PRIMARY KEY ("NEW_CUSTID") RELY NOVALIDATE
         ORGANIZATION INDEX TABLESPACE "MKT"
    Table T1/T2/T3 are slightly different but they all contain:
    CUST_ID INTEGER
    CUST_NAME CHAR(50)
    CUST_SINCE DATE
    CUST_ADDR1 CHAR(30)
    CUST_ADDR2 CHAR(30)
    DITY CHAR(30)
    STATE CHAR(2), etc.
    Since M is the lookup table for old-to-new customer ID mapping. There are no need to associat other than just enter the old IDs into the M table.
    Thanks for helping me. Any suggestion?

  • How to get the links from Master table

    Hi,
    I need to show url on the jsp page which should be taken from Backend "Master Table".
    say an example like some value CRM_IMAGE =  ZWEB CRMIMAGE.I need to show CRM_IMAGE as  Hyperlink on the product detail.jsp.
    Can anyone help me for this.

    Hi Ecom,
    To retrieve value on product detail page you have to develop your custom code in which you have to create BO, BOM, BEI and BEO to access Your master table data from ISA page.
    You also need to create Custom RFC in which you pass porduct ID and retrieve related value from Master Table.
    You can find example in ISA tutorial how to get value from Back-end via JCO.

  • ADF Master Table, Inline Detail Table - How to Scroll Range/Disclose Row

    JDev 10.1.3.2 ADF/BC
    I really need some help here. I've tried as many things as I could think of and I still cannot get this to work.
    Scenario: I have query/result page. User clicks a link in the result table to take him to another page. This page has a Master table, Inline detail table component (bound to a tree in the pageDef). Before the page renders, all I want to do is scroll the Master table to the current row (based on the previous query/result via invokeAction in pageDef) and disclose the inline detail. Simple, right? In addition, I'll need to scroll the inline detail to the current row as well.
    I would like to do this prior to the components rendering but would be interested in any coding to scroll and disclose.
    Thanks in advance,
    Tom

    I've come up with a solution to my problem. Unfortunately I'm not able to manipulate the table prior to rendering but this solution is probably the closest I'm going to get. Here is my code:
    I set up a af:poll component to fire once on my jspx.
        public void poll_PollListener(PollEvent pollEvent) {
            if (this.getFromProcess("unitRowKeyValue") != null) {
                int curIndx = this.getIteratorBinding("UnitsIterator").getRowSetIterator().getCurrentRowIndex();
                this.getUnitTree().setFirst(curIndx);
                if (this.getFromProcess("systemRowKeyValue") != null) {
                    this.getUnitTree().setRowIndex(curIndx);
                    DisclosureEvent de = new DisclosureEvent(this.getUnitTree(), true);
                    this.getUnitTree().queueEvent(de);
                this.storeOnProcess("renderPoll", false);
        }The setFirst method scrolls the table to the index specified. If the user, in my case, has selected a detail item (system), I want to disclose the detail. First I need to setRowIndex to the current index and then I fire a disclose event.
        public void unitTreeDisclosureListener(DisclosureEvent disclosureEvent) {
             if (disclosureEvent.isExpanded()) {
                 CoreTable coreTable = (CoreTable)disclosureEvent.getSource();
                 RowKeySet rks = new RowKeySet();
                 Object test = coreTable.getRowKey();
                 rks.getKeySet().add(coreTable.getRowKey());
                 coreTable.setDisclosureState(rks);
          }If I don't set the rowKey via the setRowIndex method above, the getRowKey does not return a valid rowKey. In my case, I only want one master row to be disclosed at a time.
    This all works great except for a bit of flicker to process the PPR request for the component.
    Next step is to see if I can scroll the Inline Detail table to the detail row selected in the Query/Result page.

  • How to create one master table and two detail for it

    I have one table , imagine it like mastertable( empid,deptid );
    and two different tables like employeetable(empid ) , departmenttable ( deptid )....
    I dont have any relation on database side. I need to create view link and ı need to use only one master table for two detail tables.
    How can ı manage this scenerio ?
    thanks...

    yes Shay ı really want to use two detail table in one UI as you suggest in your blog. But in that scenerio probably tables have link in database side with foreign key. My detail tables dont have any connection in database side with my master table. How can ı link them under one mastertableVO ?
    I am really sorry about my bad explanation. I am a newbie and probably ı dont know the correct words to tell my problem.
    Thanks for your time...

    Also please clarify what is meant by [SP as Key] & [SH as key]! Is it needs to be defaulted!
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks,

    Hi Prasad,
    For your another Query
      SH- Ship To Party,
      SP - Sold To party.
    You can set anyone of them as Default depending on ur Bsuiness requirement ie. You are Forwarding ur Invoice to ship to or sold to Party.

  • Primary Key Materlized View and primary key in master tables

    We are using Oracle 11g2 and I created a materlized view on several master tables. The master tables all have primary key, but I did not include all primary key columns in the defining query.
    According to Oracle Manual e10592 Specify WITH PRIMARY KEY to create a primary key materialized view. This is the default ....
    The master table must contain an enabled primary key constraint, and the defining query of the materialized view
    must specify all of the primary key columns directly.My MV created OK and works. My question is what can be the impact on my MV? Could it hit the performance. It takes 40 minutes for the MV to be created and 5 minutes to refresh for single row insert in each mater table. I would like to see it refresh in seconds.

    Retrieving rows from the mview is purely a function of the number of rows and indexing on the mview itself. Refreshing the mview wall time depends on the quality of the query used to refresh the mview. Whether you include PKs from the source table in the mview is of little, or no, consequence here. What matters is the execution path of the refresh query. Is there proper indexing on the underlying tables to support the joins. Did you use mlog$_s to enable fast refresh - are mlog$_s even usable for your mview. There are a number of possible causes to your problem and we do not have enough information to make an estimate of the problem.
    BTW, if the mview could refresh in seconds w/o mlog$_s, you probably do not need an mview.

  • How do I pull information from a master table to another table?

    This may be quite simple, but I'm missing something.  I want to pull information from my master table into a secondary table.  In the Master Table in Column A, I have a list of teams ("Team 1" through "Team 12"), then in Columns B through D I have information for each assignment given to each team.  I want to have a secondary table for each team that lists all of their assignments.  So, this is what I want:   if Column A says 'Team 1', then I want the secondary table to have the info from Columns B through D.
    Again, I'm sure it's simple, but I just can't figure it out.
    Thanks for any help.
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
    1)  But does this work if in the Master Table (which will be over 300 rows long) each team will show up 10-15 times over the course of the 300 rows randomly (hence the need to have sub-tables for each team...so it's easier for them to see what their tasks are).
    Your fellow Numbers enthusiasts in this forum will need more information to help you with that. You are on the right track though with the idea of many tables. Therein lies the power of Numbers.
    2)  I'm a bit confused by the formula.  With the "$A2" do I select the first column in the Master Table?  And can you break down the second part of the formula?  The "$A$2:$D$4,2,0"  Why would you have A2 and D4 in the same formula?  They are not in the same row.  And what's the 2,0 at the end?
    Breaking this question down:
    With the "$A2" do I select the first column in the Master Table?
    No. The $ keeps the reference to Column A absolute (it won't change to B then C as you Fill Right in the Team Task Table.
    And can you break down the second part of the formula?  The "$A$2:$D$4,2,0"  Why would you have A2 and D4 in the same formula?  They are not in the same row.
    $A$2:$D$4 is the range of cells (a rectangle) where VLOOKUP will search (in my example) but not in your 300 row table!
    And what's the 2,0 at the end?
    The syntax of VLOOKUP is VLOOKUP(search-for, columns-range, return-column, close-match)
    The 2,0 at the end means "return column" is 2 (the second column of the range) and 0 means "Exact Match" - it won't find a close match. After Fill Right you will need to edit the formula in each Column to change "return column" to 3, then 4, then ...
    With a table selected, click on the Function Button in the Toolbar and choose Function Browser. I find that much more useful than the Help Menu. However (there is always a however in life) the Help Menu will show Numbers User Guide, and Formulas and Functions Help. Download them and read at your leisure. The first four chapters of the User Guide are well worth a read. Use other chapters as a reference when you need them.

  • Updatable Materialized View and Master Table on same database

    Hi all,
    My first question - Is it possible to have an Updatable Materialized View and the associated Master Table located on the same database?
    This is the requirement scenario:
    One unique database D exists.
    A is a batch table. Only inserts are allowed on Table A.
    M is an updatable materialized view on Table A (Master). Only updates are allowed on M (no insert or delete).
    Requirement is to push updates/changes from M to A periodically and then get the new inserted records from A into M via a refresh.
    Is this possible? What other approaches are applicable here?

    John,
    My question is related to the implementation and setup of the environment as explained in the above example. How can I achieve this considering that I have created an updatable m-view?
    If possible, how do I push changes made to an updatable m-view back to it's master table when/before I execute DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH on the m-view? What is the procedure to do this if both table and mview exist on the same database? Do I need to create master groups, materialized view refresh groups, etc.?
    One more thing.. Is there a way to retain changes to the m-view during refresh? In this case, only newly inserted/updated records in the associated table would get inserted into m-view. Whereas changes made to m-view records would stay as-is.
    Hope my question is directed well. Thanks for your help.

  • Creating a master table and using it to populate other tables.

    Hi everyone.
    I am a novice at using Numbers and I need some direction.
    I am looking to create a master table with information for our summer camp. This table will include vital information such as name, address, etc. along with cabin assignments, tuitions received, and more.
    We will separate this information into smaller tables that different portions of that master table for specific use. Such as: names and addresses for leaders, names and tuitions for registration, etc.
    My goal is to type the information into the master table and have it update the other tables automatically. Can someone direct me how to format the master and sub tables so that this is possible?
    I would greatly appreciate it and it will greatly reduce the record-keeping time for our camp.
    Thank You!
    Roy

    Hi Roy,
    Welcome to the Numbers discussions. You are giving us a tall order, especially when we don't know your level of experience in programming spreadsheets.
    Here are a couple of basics to start the conversation...
    In normal spreadsheet programming, we Pull data from one location into another, we don't Push it or Send it. This should help you to understand that the hard work is done in the sub tables, not the master.
    You will use LOOKUP functions to pull the data to your sub tables. Download the Numbers User Guide and the Formulas and Functions User Guide and read up on them.
    In your master table, make sure you have one column that uniquely identifies each participant so it will be easy to reference that person in your sub tables.
