HT1338 How can I delete extensions that I previously downloaded?
I installed extensions and do not know how to forever delete them from system.
Are you writing of kernel extensions? To see which non-Apple kernel extensions are loaded on your system, open Terminal (Applications>Utilities) and copy and paste:
kextstat | grep -v com.apple
...this will give you a list of the non-Apple kexts that are loaded.
Generally, they will be at the root directory of your drive in System>Library>Extensions, but they could be hiding in a user folder. Usually, all you have to do is use a free tool such as EasyFind (from the App Store) to search for a key word in the extension ("blackberry", for example, to find a BlackBerry driver) and then you can delete it.
If you're not writing of kernel extensions, you'll have to explain more clearly what you're trying to find.

The problems you describe are likely to have been caused by garbage software of which "TechTool Pro" is only one example. That system has been altered from its factory configuration through the installation of several third party system modifications, any one of which can cause poor performance. Interaction between two or more is another possibility. Running a torrent client is another way of inviting malware intrusion.
Safe Mode or "Safe Boot" is a troubleshooting mode that bypasses all third party system extensions and loads only required system components. Read about it: Starting up in Safe Mode
You must disable FileVault before you can start your Mac in Safe Mode.
Starting your Mac in Safe Mode will take longer than usual, graphics will not render smoothly, audio is disabled on some Macs, and some programs (iTunes for example) may not work at all.
Merely starting your Mac in Safe Mode is not intended to resolve the problem, it's to observe its performance without certain additional components.
To end Safe Mode restart your Mac normally. Shutdown will take longer as well. -

How can i delete messages that are saved on imessage
Hi. I have an iPhone 5s (16gb). I have no storage left on my phone and for some reason whenever I try to send someone who has and who doesn't have an iPhone a message through iMessage, my message send but i don't receive any messages. When I click send my message goes through but it still says sending on the top. I tried restarting my phone and backing it up but the problem is not not resolved. I was looking at my settings the other day and realized the my 'saved' messages on iMessages take up 11.0gb. I found this out by clicking settings -> general -> usage. I figured maybe this might be the problem because I have no storage left due to my messages. How can I delete these 'saved' messages so i can have enough storage to update my phone (my phone hasn't been updated since 6/2014)? Another issue I'm having due to my lack of updating my phone is that my camera roll application always crashes on me and is constantly restoring my photos. It attempts to restore but it then says I have 0 photos. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!

well, i have the ios7 and recently i updated it once more and now my father is recieving all my imessages on his ipad. You can't delete them without doing so on his iPad.
It's probably happening because you are sharing the same ID for iMessage. To prevent it, one of you needs to go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. (You can continue to share the same ID for iTunes.) -

How can more than more than one song be deleted in iTunes on computer?
If you slect one Song then hold down the shift key and click on another song, those two songs and all the songs between them will be selected, and can be deleted at once.
If you select a song, hold down the Ctrl key and click another song, that other song will also be selected (but not the ones in between). Holding down control and clicking another song gives you three different songs selected at once, and so on. All the selected songs can be deleted at once. -

How can I delete bookmarks that aren't in a folder (unorganized)?
When I click on "Organize Bookmarks" I don't find a way to get to the bookmarks that aren't organized into a folder. I'd like to delete some and to sort others into the folders, but none of these show up. There is an item in the left bar named "Unorganized Bookmarks" but when I highlight it, it shows nothing as if it were empty. Is there another way I can access those single bookmarks to sort them and delete them?

If you want to burn them, you need to have the song files physically on your local drive.
If they were purchased from one of the online stores that allows re-downloading (Amazon Digital Music, iTunes Store, etc.), just download new copies. -

This is how it works for me in my Sports Illustrated magazine app. If this doesn't work for you, you will have to seek your individual magazine support to find out how to do it.
You can tap and hold down on a magazine icon until it wiggles and then tap the X on the icon to delete it. Or, tap the Library button in your magazine app to show all of the issues on the iPad, and then tap the Edit button to bring up the X to delete. -

If you mean that they show in the Videos app then check to see if Settings > iTunes & App Store > Videos (in the 'Show All' heading) is 'off' - if it's on then set it 'off'.

I have an account that I used to use up until about 2007. I now see that iTunes has a function to download previously downloaded songs that may have been deleted or something. I thought I would be able to go on an old e-mail account and try to use it, however we no longer use the e-mail provider and there is no way for me to get an e-mail sent to it to change the password. This is also troublesome because I cannot remember my security question. Does anyone know how to possibly get around this?
ive had that problem...if you email the support they'll reset it for you but u need to know all the information on the account to verify it before they'll reset the account password.
