My Numbers update shows 2.3 but the app store says I was updated to 3.1?
You should have both versions. After the update, the old versions are moved to an iWork '09 folder in the Applications folder.
The new versions are completely rewritten and are missing some features. I imagine that is why the kept the old versions arround. It is much like iMovie, Final Cut X, etc.
They have been slowly adding features as they go.

The App Store says I have updates for I-Photo and Garage Band. When I try to update I get the following message: You have updates available for other accounts To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it." Both apps came with my computer and as far as I know I only have one Apple account. Any thoughts? Thanks.
KarenThanks for you reply. I'm 99% positive that I'm using the user id and password that I used to set up my computer. That's why I'm stumped. I read the solution someone else suggested (type your user name without @gmail and create a new password. When I tried it, I was asked for my birthday. It didn't recognize it. I know I got my birthday correct. Oh well...

Most apps require more than double the size of the app available in order for installation.

Just did an update that the app store told me i needed to do. The computer had to be restarted and everything im running verson 10.8.4 i believe it was a RAM update. What do i do? I feel like this is bad for my computer and i dont want it to overheat and what not.

Want to download a previously deleted app but the app store says it's already installed
While updating the 'Tumblr' app on my iPod, my internet connection went down and the updating stopped. When I regained internet connection I clicked the app and it just deleted. Now, when I go to the app store to try and install the app again, it says I already have the app and the downloading button is replaced with an 'open' button.
I've already checked the iPod and it hasn't been moved around or into a folder. If somebody could help I'd be very grateful!What happens when you tap the "Open" button?

I have tried syncing and re syncing and nothing. I've tried holding the home and top button and doing a hard shut down and nothing. I can't think of anything else to do.
Does a spotlight search on the device indicate the app is installed?

When you updated to Mavericks and qualified for the free iWork apps and then installed them, the old iWork apps were rounded up and put into a folder name iWork' 09 and the three new versions of the apps are scattered in the apps folder in alphabetical order.

I deleted all Apps on iPad as they were associated with an out of date Apple ID (which I have forgotten the password) and I could not update them, but the "App Store" logo still shows that there are 2 to be updated and when I go there I cannot delete. Please assist. Thanks.
Why don't you explain what happens when you try to delete these two apps that are showing that they need updates. You can only delete them if they are actually installEd on the iPad. Are they on the device?

Nope that's not it, I always use that particular ID, but the @me.com portion of the Apple ID is missing when trying to download from the App Store on the Phone.
It is grayed out inside the App Store app so I can't change it there and I already changed it in the settings.
The entire Apple ID is fine in the Settings so I don't get why the App Store ID is different and missing information.
