Issues with iTunes Home Sharing using iPhone 6 Plus

Hi guys,
I'm having problems with streaming music and video on my iPhone 6 plus from my Macbook Pro (mid 2010 model) using iTunes' Home Sharing . I am able to stream without any issues using my iPhone 4S and my Apple TV, however.
I am using iTunes version 12.0.1.26, iOS 8.1.2, and OSX 10.9.5.
Using my 6 plus, I am able to connect to my iTunes library, both music and video. Album art shows up for music but no cover art for the videos. So, all in all, I am able to see the contents of my library.
However, when I try to play songs, a couple things may happen. First, nothing plays for about 10 seconds; then a second or two of the song plays followed by silence again, appearing as if it's buffering. Second thing that may happen is that a second or two plays immediately followed by silence. If I press next to play the next song, what usually happens is that nothing plays, although the song title does appear.
As seen in this video, I don't have any issues with my WIFI connection or internet speed, as demonstrated using the iPhone 4S and Apple TV.
I have no clue as to why this is happening.
Hopefully someone could shed some light with this issue. Please feel free to comment. I'm open to and appreciate any suggestions while Apple tries to find a solution. Thanks.

UPDATE
So, after working with the guys at Apple, they were able to provide a solution. Now I have no problems using Home Sharing with my iPhone 6 Plus!!!
(I should add that I have the Linksys Advanced Dual-Band N Router (E2500))
The issue was fixed by giving one of the wi-fi channels a different name, thus splitting the channels into 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Then, I connected my iPhone to one channel (2.4 GHz) and my MacBook Pro to the other channel (5GHz). In this configuration, I have had no issues streaming my music and video.
It seems that the problem is some kind of interference between both devices when using the same channel (i.e., when both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channel share the same name).

Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

Hi can i get help on this issue? We have set up Active-Active GG on Test Environment.
While testing Golden Gate on Test environment we observed that test module level caching is not working as expected. Generally if a ban number is previously launched then on any subsequent execution of the same ban we should see test modules with timestamps in red color ( which basically indicates it’s been executed previously and no fresh tests are run provided no test module failed with test error ).
Now with GG setup we can see that the Data is getting replicated on both the Data centers but still when we re-launch the ban at second datacenter it does not show us as being cached(i mean since after executing test the DB is updated but on second data center still it tries to re-execute again and again but it doest get cached).
These both environments work fine as a standalone caching but not replicating the test results.
Any idea people?

Hi Mike, i have not architectured my application, i am contractor who came to implement Golden Gate in our environment, this is first time i am observing this kind of issue of caching not happening, it is replicating data fine but the cached results once we give any BAN on one side it populates data and it is replicating that data(records) fine, but when we give same BAN on other Datacenter it is executing tests and populating data agiain, which is undesirable.
Can you please tell me from whom i can find out what will be the root cause of this issue, and which team to contact.

HT4557 Issues with my home sharing between my iPad and my iPhone

I have recently changed my Apple ID name, its still the same account. I have logged out of iTunes and Music on my iPhone and iPad and logged in with the new name for my apple ID. My home sharing is now not working. I have just bought a song on my iPad and when I see it on my iPhone I just shows as being purchased and won't let me ICloud it over to my iPhone

All purchases are tied to one apple ID. That is not the same as the email you may have changed with the ID.
If I initially purchase with [email protected] and then try to change the id to [email protected] it will not work. However, if I purchased with [email protected] and changed the email associated with [email protected] to [email protected] then there should be no issues.

Need help to solve Wireless issues

Hi guys,
I have a DSL connection with a very poor quality router (ISP provider needed). But when reaching 10 wireless users my network goes down so I’m looking a solution to expand my Wi-Fi capacity. I read that a Wi-fi router can help me, my question if this is correct and what options can I found here in Bestbuy in order not only to solve me capacity (maybe up to 30 concurrent users) but also I want to manage bandwidth for every connection.

Up to 30? Just a guess, but are you perhaps a business owner?
At any rate, for 30 users, I'm almost tempted to steer you towards a business class WiFi router. Granted, yes, a "commercial" router will work, but a business class might also have options to limit bandwidth per user as well.

Need Help In solving report Issue!!!

I have a structure in report, hardcored periods. when I drilldown by any free characteristics(eg., Doc Number), it is displaying all the "Doc Numbers" available in the cube for all the periods. But I want to display only respective "Doc Numbers" for the particular periods.
I know, if I remove the structure and use just "Posting Period" in the rows, it solves the issue.But user wants structure in the report.
Is there anyway I can achieve this???

I need help,Mpeg2 HD Playback Issues with Quicktime

I have a problem with playing some large Mpeg2 HD 1920 x 1080 files with Quicktime 7.0 and Quicktime 10. I have the Quicktime Mpeg2 Component installed on my computer.
The videos are 4gb and higher. They will play for more than half their length and then the counter will continue to move but the video image does not move.
I am able to play the videos fine with VLC.
Any suggestions?

Need help bad!! issues with usb and updating to 10.4.11

So a few weeks back I was getting error that was something like IOUFamily.kext was missing and it would not let me attach a usb flash stick. but the usb mouse and keyboard have worked fine. TOday i installed the 10.4.11 update from 10.4.9, now the mac is stuck at the loggin screen and i can't get any mouse or keyboard to work! so i can't even access the mac! Please help!

First, which machine is it? There are no G5 Intels. There are G3, G4, G5s, and there are IntelMacs.
Try booting from the install CD/DVD. You may have to unplug everything for a few minutes first.

I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I can understand your concern as a iTunes and iPhone user.
I do notice that you stated that you restored your computer a few months ago. The files from iTunes are typically stored on your computer in a specific place. If the computer was restored it may have erased these files. Were you able to review your computer to see if these files still exist. For a Windows 7 user these iTunes files can be found under:
• \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: To quickly access the AppData folder, click Start. In the search bar, type %appdata% and press the Return key.
Keep me posted. I would like to know if any of the information is currently on your computer. If not you will be able to erase and sync.

HT5622 When I try to download an app from app store, it is asking for Cloud ID and Password.....but though i submitted correct password...it is not allowing to download....stating "Password incorrect". What is the way out...!!

Suggest a way out for download an app, when phone shows a message-----password incorrect; though i gave correct password. Even i have logged into icloud and ensured the password is correct.

You may have to either sign in to the website to confirm your account details (or do that through iTunes on the computer) or go to iforgot.apple.com to reset your password again.
