HT1923 I can syn the iPod 1 week ago and now can't find it on the itune. iPod don't appear on the PC too.
Why the iPod is so funny while it can syn i week ago and now can't even find the iPod on the itune left hand column. I can still hear the sound when the iPod is plug in the PC, Why? I have install over a thousand songs and reinstall itune means to do it all over again. What a waste of time and energy? There are songs I can not retrieve again!!!!

Are you using the Office for Mac 2011 version, as you need to do? The Office for Mac 2004 is Not at all compatible with Mountain Lion, and the 2008 version has been noted to have some problems running with ML.

Just thought that I'd report that I've decided on my solution.
It seems that just making do with what I can find on the US store is the easiest and perhaps also the best way of going about it. All other methods mean trouble. I'm lucky that China hasn't outright blocked the US store, as they HAVE blocked iTunes music store in China already (something about a song about Tibet caused them to block the store entirely).
So yeah, just going to deal with it I guess. I should be grateful I'm getting anything at all, considering the country I'm in. Still, I just feel so ripped off sometimes when I pay for expensive devices and I can't even get much out of them do to my region. iPhones cost around $700 in China because there's no company like AT&T that you can just sign a contract with to get one, so you have to pay up-front for the phone, and get less features out of it in the end. Makes buying smart phones look like a waste of time and money sometimes, since you can't use the device to do what it was built to do due to censorship and not having any content for your region (though they do have a lot of Chinese apps that I can't use due to not knowing Chinese). -

I hate to say this, but unless you are paying the 25 bucks you cannot back up your library to the cloud.
All you can do is back up the items you "purchased" from Apple.

I allowed Apple updates about two weeks ago and now Safari is way too slow. I have tried using Airport and Ethernet and the problem is the same. Yesterday, I upgraded to Safari 5.1 and now the problem is worse. Any solutions?

And you can't ignore all the problems which arose when upgrading to Lion and were related to the new build and specs of Safari 5.1.
The best example is the apparition of "garbage type" (use of Last Resort font) when reading numerous sites. This never occured before and is the direct consequence of Safari compliance to Web Open Type. This standard prohibits the use of Type 1 Postscript Fonts and is the reason why so many people are in trouble.

My Mac is always up-to-date and despite all my Mac loving care, I run into some problems.
Imagine the nightmare which can occurs for the vulgum pecus who isn't, by definition, a power user aware of all the requirements for running a System in optimal conditions.
May be Safari is one step in advance on its time but lambda users are paying the price for it. -
I purchased a wireless keyboard for my iPad a week ago and now the keypad doesn't pop up when I want to type anything.
Have you tried to go into bluetooth and telling it to forget your keyboard?
Drastic but might enable you to repair the devices and see if it clears up the glitch.
I had a period of time when my iPad always sensed and used my bluetooth keyboard. I think it finally went away after I powered down the iPad. (not just a put to sleep, a bonafide 'slide the red slider to shut it down' powering down. -

I uninstalled firefox a few weeks ago and now want to reinstall it. When I install it it downloads fine and runs, it extracts up to 100% then othing happends so it doesn't install.
It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading and installing work. -

Are you running Leopard on your Mac, Laurie?
If so, try instead updating to iTunes 10.6.3.25. (That supports earlier models of iPhones running iOS 6, even though it can't run the new iPhone 5s.)

Place the iPod in Recovery Mode and restore via iTunes.

Because you need to restore to factory settings all data on the iPhone will be erased. Because the iPhone was never backed up most of the data you won't be able to get back.
