My iPad will not update to 5 at all. I don't even have the option of software update in settings. I've tried to update over iTunes and it doest work there either.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

My iPad3 has suddenly stopped working, it won't charge up and the screen is blank I have tried to reboot the device by holding the top and home buttons but I don't even get the Apple logo. any advice?
Plug it into the charger/wall socket and let it charge for at least an hour. It just might start charging. If you have already tried charging it for a fair amount of time and it didn't work, try restoring the device with iTunes.

I am having trouble.I can't even set my Touch back up. I can type on the key board. I try to touch one key and a bunch go. I don't even have to touch the screen.
First make sure the screen is clean,
The try:

Ok so I have an iPhone and an iPod which share the same iCloud/appleID. I did this today when I got my new iPhone I put in my iCloud details which put everything I had on my iPod onto my iPhone(I was unaware this happened). I'm happy with all the apps added straight on and my contacts added but I don't want to have all my photos from my iPod on my iPhone. I want to keep the photos from my iPod on my iPod and when I take pictures on my iPhone they stay just on my iPhone. I'm wondering if this is possible as it's with the iCloud? I have previous synced my iPod on my laptop when adding music ect but I don't know if that effects iCloud I don't really know but I'm worried if I delete all the pictures off of my iPhone then sync that then sync my iPod into the same laptop will it wipe those pictures since there off my iPhone? I don't really get how all this works so help is very much appreciated!! And I hope what I've wrote makes sense to someone!

If you don't want photo stream to sync your photos between devices go settings > iCloud and uncheck photos, do this on each device. -
I have done a restore to back up per the Apple guy that was nice enough to help me at Best Buy. Basically it is totally unusable as I don't even touch it and it just starts typing. I told my husband it's like it is possed. Any ideas?
iOS 5 does slow a 3G iPod somewhat but not the way you describe. I would try restoring to factory defaults/new iPod. If you still have the problem then it apears that you have a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Why I can not download audio book to my iPod after I paid for in my iPhone .
Audiobooks can currently only be downloaded once - if you want to put it on a different device then you should have copied it from your iPhone to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases and then synced it to the iPod.

The Firefox name and the bar at the top w/ bookmarks, etc. and the bar at the bottom have disappeared. I've tried solutions but w/out the Firefox name and the bottom bar, I don't know what to do. And, yes, I'm a computer dummy who only wants to use her computer the way it did a few hours ago. Thank you so very much.

I have an iPhone 3GS. I want to update to iOS 4.2.1. In settings, general, I do not have a software update option. What to do?
You won't see this until you update to iOS 5. You'll have to update using iTunes by going to the Summary tab of your sync settings and clicking on Check for Update (you will probably be prompted that there is an update available when you connect your phone and open iTunes).

My ipod front camera goes blurry when i flip it from back camera to front camera! and when I go onto vine it doesnt even have the camera flipping icon!

Why do emailed photos save as firefox documents and not jpeg? I don't even have an option!
I can download the photos from Facebook as JPEG butwhen I open them from email to save, they only save as a firefox document. I don't even have the option of jpeg. Is there a way to correct or get around this than a technophobe can understand and execute?

I have recently purchased a new computer and photoshop element. It looks like its downloaded it but I don't know how to access it. it says file are ready...down load files have been extracted and saved to folder....launch PS elements and open specific folder. it looks like it downloads. It then keeps taking me back to this page. Im not sure where to go next
if you have a win os you should have dl'd an exe and a 7z file.
put both in the same directory and double click the exe. -
A few days after i've updated to iOS 8.1.1 my iphone 5s died and isn't turning on and its not charging. i have my legit charger that came with my phone and after 6 months it stopped working, i even have a charging case and that wont charge it. I am trying to purchase an app and when I try to it tells me to login. When I log in it ask me security questions which I don't even remember the answers to. I put, "forgot answers" and it says, "we can help you reset your security information by sending a message to your rescue email address: [email protected]" I only have one email and thats on Yahoo. i still click send email button and it tells me to check my email but i dont recieve anything. please help me
