actually, unless you take an extra step, the first opened swf will close. if you want the 2nd to close, the initial receiving lc will send a message to sender that causes the sender to close. -

Welcome to the Support Communities! The "From" field should be showing by default, but you can check or change your settings for Mail with the instructions below:

In the Composing pane, you can set the email account that you want to send new messages from.
Also, check the View command on the Menu bar. View > Message Attributes should have a checkmark beside the "From" field.

A specific answer as to how to otherwise share media will depend upon your computer setup, about which we currently have no idea. Do you have more than one, at they networked, does she use the media on an i-device? -
All of my devices seem to be connected... It's messages that I want to turn off. I don't want to receive any messages on anything except my daughters iPod that are sent to my Apple ID. You need the first Internet connection in order to share another connection with the other devices. If you use the Mac and Internet Sharing, then the connection is only going to be as fast as that connection and maybe a little slower since you are all sharing that connection.
You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear as the saying goes, you cannot speed up the connection by any magical means.
You should be able to use the personal hotspot feature on the phone if the carriers there support it.

I have almost 10,000 songs/cuts in my music collection and, because of the poor quality of iTunes music, very few of those songs/cuts come from iTunes. My music came from me ripping it disc by disc over hundreds of hours. I would like to be able to add a disc and have both the iMac AND the MacBook music files (plus an external backup) be updated. Surely there is an intelligent, relatively easy to implement procedure for doing this.
