If it's a store's demo model then as far as I know only Apple can potentially change it's iOS version to a non-demo version - you've tried Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings directly on the iPad ?

Hi Jen. My daughter just compleated her nursing program and is now working as a full time nurse. Focus and study hard and soon you will be there too. Now to the problem at hand. I have the same problem. I gave up on it and satisfied myself with my iPod without the upgrade. Reason being I've read so many posts of people having problems after the upgrade. But I'm sure other factors are involved. Nevertheless here is the fix most say works to solve the problem: What ever virus protection you have installed on your computer, disable it. Then try to install the update. After that enable the protection. I had Kaspersky, and it does it's job well. The thinking is, the virus protection is blocking the upgrade. Hope this works. Charlie

Try resetting the device by holding down the home and sleep key, past the red slider, and until you see hte silver apple. That will reset the device with no damage to your info.
What you probably did was try too e-mail something too big to be e-mailed. I shot a 3 minute video that was 80+ megs....e-mail often only allows a fraction of that. It's likely trying ot upload something it can't handle, and is hung up.

I just upgraded to Mavericks and it now says that iphoto is not supported on this type of Mac. It worked fine before the upgrade. Any suggestions?

Further info - I changed my security settings to allow apps from anywhere, and again tried to install. I again got an error message
that the update failed to install, and to contact Customer Support.

You have one license.
You can download and install it on an infinite number of computers, as long as it is only installed on two of your computers at any one time, and in use on only one computer at any given time.
So in your case, current iMac, that's would mean its installed on one computer, no problem. Future iMac and future MacBook ... so if you uninstall from current iMac and install on Future iMac and future MacBook, it's now installed on two computers at a time, no problem, as long as you're not using Lightroom on both simultaneously. And if after that, you got two new computers and uninstalled Lightroom from the previous two, you're still good, it's only installed on two computers at any one time.

Storage: I got a 32gig iPad for Christmas, and literally I am already down to 2 gigs of storage left. I believe my iPad is a 4th generation, and currently on my device I only have a 10 apps, 6 photos, 3 personal family videos 10mins in length each, and about 10 disney channel tv shows for my kids. I realized after downloading 4 tv shows for my daughter I was getting HD, so I did change the other 6 to SD which I know takes less space. However it hasn't really helped. Recently I started using the camera to take a few short movies of my kids 3 videos about ten mins in length each and that ate through space in no time.
My iPad is 32gigs but really only started with 28 gigs capacity.
Is there something I can do? Am I doing something wrong? Sorry I am not the most technically inclined, but a co-worker of mine has an older iPad with thousands of pics, hundreds of songs, plenty of movies, at least 20 apps, etc and her 32 gig iPad still has 12 gigs left. She has WAY more stuff on hers than mine.

Look, any officially unlocked GSM iPhone will work in India. You purchase from Dubai, no FaceTime, and Dubai is part of the UAE. You purchase anywhere but India, and you will have NO warranty or support. Frankly, doesn't make any sense to me why you want to do this...and don't bother telling me you save hundreds of dollars...still doesn't make any sense. Do a forum search here.
