  • It's not showing up on my iTunes Library

Okay so previously I was an owner of an android and have recently switched to an iPhone 5s. I downloaded iTunes and did all the required steps and whatnot, but then I had also transferred all my music from GooglePlay to iTunes. For the most part it was successful, without flaw, the problem only occuring when I had to of the same artist, but different albums. I read the pop-up box about it having to merge and I thought it was good, right? Wrong. In my Music Folder on my desktop it says it is in iTunes, but the it's not showing up on my iTunes Library. Why isn't it showing up and how can I get it to show up so that I can listen to mutiple of their albums?
(The first album from the same artist was uploaded via CD and the second was vis GooglePlay. I synced my phone to see if the other albums from GooglePlay had problems but found none. It's just when I have two of the same artists and different albums.)

Copy file from DVD to your hard drive then add to library?

  • How do you delete duplicate songs from your iPhone that do not show up in your iTunes library?

everytime i purchase songs on itunes and sync them to my iphone 4, the songs downloads twice. one as the actual song, and the second one doesnt do anything. when you click on it, it just skips to the next song and doesnt play anything. also this second song has this cirlce dot thing next to it when i am scrolling through my songs in my music...so how do i get rid of this second download? its really annoying to have and it wont let me delete it off my phone. alsoooo since it doesnt show up in my itunes library, i cant delte it off there either! HELP PLEASE

On the springboard, locate the app you want to delete. For this example, I’ll use WeatherBug.
Tap and hold down the icon of the application you want to delete. After a few seconds your screen will start to “wiggle” and an X will appear next to each of the apps you’ve installed via the App Store.
Tap the X next to the icon of the app you want to remove. When prompted, selectDelete.
    And now it’s gone.
If the application is listed in your iTunes Applications as well, you’ll want to remove it from there – or else it will re-install the next time you sync. Alternately you can keep the app in your iTunes Applications, and set iTunes not to sync all applications, just the ones you want to keep. See the Applications tab of your device the next time it’s connected in iTunes for syncing options.

  • The music I have purchased on my IPod are not showing up on my ITunes library on my computer

The music I have purchased on my IPod is not showing up on my Itunes account on my computer, I went to the itunes store on my computer and went to see if I could download a song i previously purchased, but it was going to have me pay again. I have about a hundred songs missing on my computers itunes. It won't let me sync my ipod to it anymore and when I tried to update the software it wouldn't let me. I am completely at a standstill with this.

Then you're doing something wrong.  Are you signed in with the same Apple ID on the computer that the content was purchased with?
Did you check the purchase history?

    Why?

  • Some of my recently purchased music (from iTunes) is not showing up in my iTunes library. It should be on the cloud, no? How can I get it onto my computer?

I recently had to wipe my macbook, and when I brought all my content back from my external hard drive, my itunes library wasn't up to date. I hadn't backed up my computer in a few months, and a lot of music I purchased in the last few months didn't show up in my itunes library. I went to the itunes store "Purchased" and re-uploaded my recent purchases, but it still didn't put all of my music on my laptop. I know my most recent music purchases must be on the icloud, but why aren't they uploading to my library, and how can I get that music back (that I paid for)?

Downloading (using iOS or computer) past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not all media formats are available in all countries (see: iTunes in the Cloud, iTunes Match, and iTunes Radio availability by country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085); apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this).  Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later.  Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones, audiobooks), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.  Apple recommends,  "You always back up your iTunes library in the event that a purchased item is no longer available on the iTunes Store," (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519).

  • Songs I purchased on my iPhone not showing up in my itunes library, or purchase history. The iPhone was unauthorized, but connected to my iTunes account.

So I got a new iPhone about a month or two ago (I no longer have this iphone) and I bought some albums from iTunes but now that I'm on my computer (which the iphone is not authorized on) I cant seem to find out how to download the albums I downloaded. The albums were bought on the iPhone through the iTunes app that was associated with my account. The songs show as purchased on the iTunes store, but theyre not in my purchased list.

With your iPhone connected, iTunes open and the iPhone selected in the devices panel, go to File menu and click "Transfer purchases"

  • Apple TV not showing all of my itunes library

I recently bought an Apple TV, but I'm having a problem with the Apple TV showing all of the content in my iTunes library. For example on my computer I have Shrek 1, 2 and 3, all play fine on my computer, but from my Apple TV I only am able to see Shrek 2. What do I need to do to have my Apple TV recognize my whole iTunes library?

what is the source of your movies?
i already know the answer (from your removed post), but if you can confirm it.
if you purchased them from the itunes store then they are already appletv compatible.
if you have ripped them from DVD (and i believe you have) then we you already know the rules regarding that.
as a general rule, just because something is in itunes does not automatically make it appletv compatible. if it is not showing up on the appletv, it seems it is not compatible.

  • Content on my Ipod Touch that does not show up in my iTunes library.....???

I have a group of about 6 podcasts on my ipod touch that I am trying to delete b/c I've already listened to them and want to free up space. Problem is when I plug into iTunes my library does not list these podcasts as being on my ipod. I know they are on there because I can listen to them but for some reason they do not show up. All of my other podcasts show up, just not these. I'm running iTunes 9.0.3.15 if that makes a difference.
Seems like i've run into this problem before as well with an audiobook. Don't remember how I got rid of that.

No problem. Glad to have helped.
Not sure as to why it happened. I just know this has been happening to a few users lately. It may be with how you have your iPod touch configured to sync Podcasts. So you may want to double check these settings as well as mess around with them a bit to figure out if that is the cause. Otherwise, I'm not entirely sure on this one. Sorry I cannot be of much help here.

  • Here is what to do when rentals do not show up in your itunes library!!! Windows and Mac

    Windows
Step 1: Make sure your rental is in your purchase history...here's how
    -Click on the Store Tab
    -Click View Account
-Scroll down to Purchase History and click See All
-Your latest purchase should be listed at the top of the page
    Step 2: Click Start
Step 3: Click on Music tab
    Step 4: Double-click on itunes
Step 5: Double-click on itunes media
    Step 6: Double-click on movies
Step 7: Find rental in list and left-click on it
Step 8: Click on option Open with itunes
Step 9: Movie should now start playing.
This worked for me after many times having the rental dissapear. Took a lot of research but finally found the answer. Please let me know if this helps. Thanks(:
I do not have a Mac but am pretty sure this similar solution will work.
Step 1: Make sure your rental is in your Purchase History...instructions listed in my Windows solution.
    Step 2: Click on Music
    Step 3: Click on itunes
Step 4: Click on itunes Music
    Step 5: Click on Downloads
Step 6: Rental should be listed

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
The Rental section should show up when the movie has fully download, are you saying it hasn't.

  • I purchased a few ringtones from itunes, but about a week later, they dissapeared. They are not showing up on my itunes library either. I tried to re-purchase them and itunes recognizes that i have already purchased the ringtones. How do I get them back?

I would like to know how to retrieve them so i do not have to purchase them again.

call the APPLE store, even though it reconize you purchase them already, APPLE will charge you again.  it happened to me.  when u call them they can resend them to your phone FREE of charge. It makes no sense, i mean they know you already purchase them, then y dont they just allow us to redownload them free of charge.SMDH

  • My audio books that were bought through Itunes on my Iphone do not show up on my Itunes account.

I bought audio books on my iphone, but they do not show up on my itunes account on my computer.  The books I purchased through the computer show up on my itunes account.  My phone is at it's max and I need to remove these books, but do not want to lose them.  Thank you for your assistance.

This isn't completely coherent so I am not sure what is wrong other than some (al?) of your tracks have broken links.
If you are browsing through iTunes you are not looking at files you are looking at data entries that point to files, with those locations being incorrect right now.
There isn't a file called iTunes media, there is a folder that should be in your iTunes folder called that.
You mention something about external drives. I presume one is for your Time Machine backup but is the other one used for iTunes?  If so, what do you keep there?

  • HT201272 Why all my previous downloaded apps (free or paid) suddenly not showing up on the iTunes store "purchased" section.  Every time I select "purchased", the next screen shows "no purchased app available for downloaded"?? Please help!!

Why all my previous downloaded apps (free or paid) suddenly not showing up on the iTunes store "purchased" section.  Every time I select "purchased", the next screen shows "no purchased app available for downloaded"?? It is the same on my iphone4 or ipad 2!!  Please help!!

Dear Metal Wheels and King Penguin.
I have to actually same problem today 23.10.2012. For an example I have only changed billing methods and have bought hundreds of apps but I remember clearly that I bought for an example ,,Wikipanion Plus'' and ,,OPlayer'' which is now HD OPlayer and I did not see them in purchased items, neither ,,not on ipad/iphone'' nour ,,not on my computer'' and I check in both my computer. I confirm hereby that I took the chance to re-buy these two Apps again through the same account but I got the message ,,As you have bought the previous version on this account you will get this update for free'' so I clicked yes and I got them both. This doesnt only proof that I have purchased them before and purchased items in iTunes Store has some lacks to fix but also it proofs that I also bought them through that specific account as I had to confirm the buying process. In my opnion this is not a thing which Apple should be relaxed with as its very important that powerusers and regular consumers can trust and rely on doing business and to shop via iTunes. I have a lot of expensive Apple Hardware and for me this is a stepping stone and a serious test on the circle of trust. If this cant be fixed I cannot recommend others to trust the store.
