HT201301 How do I send photos from my "Camera Roll" album to my computer

I'm trying to export photos from the Camera Roll album to my computer.  How do I do that?

One way that you can do it is to import the photos to the computer much like you would do with a digital camera.

How can I copy photos from the camera roll to an already existing album in ipad?

If you are in thumbnail view in the Camera Roll, tap the Edit button in the upper right corner. Tap the photos that you want to add to the existing album. Tap - Add To - in the upper right corner and then tap - Existing Album.
You can only add camera roll photos to albums that you have created on the iPad. You cannot add them to albums that you synced from iTunes.

When I go into iphoto, it registers Apple iphone - but the commands "import selected" and "import all" are not operational.

  • HT4910 How do i get photos from my Camera Roll into my Photo Stream?

How do i get photos from my Camera Roll into my Photo Stream? It seems it is supposed to do it automatically , but it does not.

Photos are normally uploaded automatically as long as you are connected to wifi, have the camera app closed and have at least 20% battery life remaining.  (It doesn't require a manual iCloud backup first.)
If yours are working, if you haven't already done so, try turning off photo stream, then turn it back on.
Sometimes people have issues getting photo stream to work on their home wifi, even if other devices in the home seem to work fine.  To troubleshoot this as a possible cause, some things to try include:
Power-cycling your router (unplug for 15 seconds, then plug back in), then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Reset Network Settings, then rejoin your wifi network.
See if there is a firmware update available for your router.
Change the DNS settings in your router to Google's Public DNS (see https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using)
As a diagnostic step, go to a public wifi hotspot and take a photo, then wait a minute or so to see if it appears in your My Photo Stream album on your phone.  If it does, this confirms that the problem is with your home wifi.

  • How do you Remove a photo from the camera roll album without deleting from other albums

How do you Remove a photo from the camera roll album without deleting from other albums

If it was originally on the camera roll try this: take another unimportant photo for test purposes, copy it to any special folder you have created within Photos, connect your iPad to your computer, locate it as any other external device, and most likely that Photos folder will be the only thing that will show up, locate the photo, delete it and then sync your iPad.
If the test photo is gone from the camera roll but still in another folder within the app then you know that the system works so go ahead with the process. I understand that there are other photo apps which might let you achieve your goal much quicker.
    Hope thi helps.

  • How do I delete photos from my Camera roll in iOS 7

I have over 1,000 photos in my iPhone Camera Roll.  I would like to delete all the photos in the Camera Roll.  How do I do this efficiently in iOS 7?

    Hi mikeschumann,
Of course you can delete photos from your Camera Roll:
Go into your photos app and select the Camera Roll album
Click on Select at the top right of the screen
Select the photos you want to delete
Click on the Trash can at the bottom of the screen
Just remember, if you have not imported those photos into a photo app on a computer, they will be permanently deleted. You may have them on an iCloud backup, but each backup you do has only the image of the current state of your device. So, if the 1000 photos have been backed up in the last iCloud backup you do, then you delete them, and do another iCloud backup, that backup will not have those photos. Then, say, you take another 100 new photos, and back up to iCloud. That backup will have the most recent 100 photos, but not the 1000 previously backed up.
So, your best bet is to import them to your photo app on your computer, and then select delete photos from device when asked.
    Cheers,

I just recently got an iphone 5c. All of my photos from my camera roll are on my 5th generation iPod touch. How to I transfer the photos from my iPod touch to my iphone?

    Hi,
Sync your device using iTunes. In the Photos area of iTunes you should be able to restore them in your new device.

  • How do I move photos from my camera roll to my photostream on the iPod Touch

I turned off the photostream because I didn't like that when I would delete a photo I'd have to delete it from two seprate places. But now syncing my photos to my computer is a huge pain since I don't use a Mac. So I figured photostream was my best bet since it syncs into a nice folder automatically on my computer.
When I turned photostream back on it didn't include any pictures from my camera roll that I took after I had initially turned photostream off.
It doesn't give me the option to select them from my camera roll and copy them to the photostream. Please tell me there's a way to do this?

  • How do you send photos from a Windows 7 64 bit desktop computer to a 2nd gen Apple TV.

I've gone through the other posts and tried every suggestion.
Both the Apple TV and Itunes are up to date. Ive tried disabling the firewall, unchecked Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6), stopping and starting Bonjour, stopping and starting the Apple Mobile Device in the services window. Both devices are on the same network and Home sharing is enabled on both. In Itunes when I go to "choose photos to share with Apple TV" in the file>HomeSharing menu, I can select photos and folders but when I hit apply nothing seems to happen except the apply button becomes greyed out. Then on the Apple TV end when I go to Computers i get a loading screen that says its loading my library followed by a cannot connect screen. Ive restarted both devices several times. Apple TV is finding my music on the computer, but does not load or find photos.  We are desperate and very frustrated at this point.

  • TS3989 how do I get photos from my "camera roll" to photo stream and icloud?

I just set up my i cloud account and can not get my photos over to my pc

This works only for new photos, but you could also create a shared photo stream to share older pictures with someone else. (This shared photo streams will be also displayed on your other iOS devices or on a Mac using iPhoto/Aperture and should also work on a PC)

  • How do you delete photos from the Camera roll without losing duplicates in Albums?

    Please help thanks!

Correct, they are only links, not separate copies. At the moment you can't directly on an iPad, albums that you create directly on it only contain links, not actual photos. You could copy the photos to your computer, organise them on there, and then sync those albums back - or you could use a third-party photo app such as the Photo Manager Pro app that I linked to in your other thread
