Paid for an item on a game, cost 55.00 quid, moneys out of my account yet what i paid for i have nothing.
On the email that was sent to me via itunes, the link does not work to discuss the problem.

Only when i go to a different browser (like IE) after i clear it , then all that shows up is the pages i visited in IE , that is what bugs me , why is IE browsing history sowing up in Firefox ??
Basically , i can clear the history in Firefox , and then for a example , go to Craigslist , using IE7 (launching it from a complete different Icon , in other words at that time i never open Firefox) , then after closing out , or even leaving open as it does not seem to matter , i go into Firefox , and hit History , and there is every place i visited in IE7 , on my History in Firefox

You don't in the condition it's in. You will either have to get the phone replaced by Apple or pay a 3rd party to repair it.

It appears that you may not have a properly installed OS X system.
You must be connected to the Internet to reinstall OS X.
In the menu bar, choose Apple menu > Restart. Once your Mac restarts (and the gray screen appears), hold down the Command (⌘) and R keys.
Select “Disk Utility,” and then click Continue.
Select your startup disk from the list on the left, and then Repair Disk.
After disk is repaired, select Reinstall OS X, then click Continue.
Follow the onscreen instructions. In the pane where you select a disk, select your current OS X disk

ITunes does not work for Asia ( Hong Kong )

I just purchased my first iPod Nano ( 2nd Generation) was was told by store staff all I have to do is register and download apple itunes software and then I could download MP3 songs from iTunes...paying for songs of course.
I was shocked to learn that iTunes does not work for Hong Kong residents, nor does napster,yahoo music unlimited, etc.
I am a Canadian living in Hong Kong, so can not read write or understand chinese, does anyone know of a English subscibtion mp3 download service that works for Hong Kong, and not emusic, tried that one, not for me .

You won't be able to download music, films or TV programmes from iTunes until either they are available in Pakistan (which will need a sufficient number of content providers to grant Apple a license to sell their content there), or you move to a country where they are sold. Are there other music purchase downloads sites in Pakistan ? You can also copy your own music CDs via your computer's iTunes (so you could buy CDs and copy them) and sync them to your phone.

Click on a link in Outlook 03 message, the "locate link browser" dialogue pops up until I cancel it. The only info on the web is for xp, and the tab they tell you to use does not exist in Windows 7. Tried suggested reg edits for Vista, they don't work.

This is what does not work, its the same instructions I am referring to in my question, if you noticed. I tried all that but reinstalling, which I will try now. (Update: that did not work either). There is no "file types" tab in Windows 7, and I did the registry edits, nothing worked. As you don't say what suggestion it is that you've tried, I don't know whether you mean for having notifications muted, so you may already have tried the following.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. For the 10^6 time -- JMF on Fedora does not work!

I've tried everything under the Sun (no pun intended), and I've seen many other people with this same problem, but no solution...
(1) I installed the performance pack version of JMF 2.1.1 for Linux.
(2) I modified my .bash_profile to read as follows...

JMF classes.....Not Found
and none of the sample JMF apps on the Sun website work.

Yes, I didn't make that clear (first thing in the morning). Even though the JMF Diagnostic applet doesn't work for me on RedHat 9.0 using the Java Plugin with JDK 1.4.2, JMF DOES work for me from the command line. It seems that the Java 1.4.2 Plugin isn't finding JMF on the path. For me, the Java 1.5 Plugin resolves this issue.

PLEASE HELP ME. 12.1.1 itunes does NOT work for my windows 7 64 bit

I have read all the tutorials on here and elsewhere online and nothing works. My cousin goes to school for MIS help and she couldnt even figure out whats going on.
I HAVE DONE THIS NUMEROUS TIMES!
- Made sure my windows had all the necessary updates and everything was installed.
- I uninstalled ALL itunes products in the proper order according to apple discussions.
- Went through all the folders in program files.
- Reinstalled it and I get an error message. ( Apple mobile device service (apple mobile device service) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services )
- I have gone through the Services window and tried stopping and restarting the program but I get an error message. (Windows could not start the Apple Mobile Device Service service on Local Computer - Error 1053: the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion) I have gone through all the start and stop tutorials and none of them have worked.
- I have tried clicking ignore and sometimes it finishes installing but then gives me an new error message. ( iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (windows error 193) - I tried reinstalling and nothing.
- I tried finding the ituneshelper download but couldnt find it, I've also tried repairing and nothing works.
- I had downloaded and older version of itunes a few days ago that WAS working the 12.1 version (NOT 12.1.1) but then my cousin came to see if she could fix it and now I can't even download that version.
I am OUT OF options and I dont want to have to spend the money on support. Can some one PLEASE HELP ME!!! I have been trying to fix this for days.

Hi Thank you, the apple mobile service links did not work, i had tried them all. however that same link with the previous versions worked. I had to download the one below and I can at least use itunes.

How do I get albums out of "compilations'? On one of my machined I can go to individual songs, "get info" and uncheck "part of a compilation", but that does not work on my office machine. I would also like to be able to do this in a group for an album,

I don't know how so much of my music got lost by being labled "compilations"? I would like to go back and catagorize it as it should be but the screens are gray and will not let me alter them as to the catagory I wish them to be in (or even the genere they are already labled? On my home machine I can (by individual song) "get info and uncheck "part of a compilation" and when this is finished the album goes to the genere as it is listed? Frustrating bit of hous keeping. The Get Info. fields show up gray if the files is locked and iTunes knows it can't edit the file. Make sure the files are not marked as read only and, if necessary grant both your account and system full access to all files and subfolders of your media folder.
You can set Part of a Compilation for multiple tracks from the Options tab of Get Info.

We don't have a relationship with Puffin Browser, but it is the only viable option for Flash on iOS and Android that I'm aware of at the moment.
You'll need to work this out with the folks at Puffin.

Just got a nano. Wanted to take all my music from my computer that I had even before I had Itunes not all were bought from itunes. I loaded them into itunes and all of them won't transfer to nano only the ones that I brought from itunes. why not all?

I just purchased a Nano. I have a ton of music that I on my computer from before I had a nano and had a mp3 player. I never had a problem transferring that music before. So I didn't purchase them from Itunes. Now that I have a Nano I want to put all those songs on my nano. I also have a iphone that I did buy some songs so those will transfer on my nano. All of my music shows up in itunes but won't transfer to my nano. grrrr. Any thoughts?

To confirm, al songs are already in your iTunes library of current computer, and they all play using iTunes (on the computer)?
And you are saying all the songs you purchased from the iTunes Store can be synced to the nano without any problems? But NONE of the other songs (that are NOT from the iTunes Store) can be synced to the nano, or SOME of them?
