PLEASE HELP ME. 12.1.1 itunes does NOT work for my windows 7 64 bit

I have read all the tutorials on here and elsewhere online and nothing works. My cousin goes to school for MIS help and she couldnt even figure out whats going on.
I HAVE DONE THIS NUMEROUS TIMES!
- Made sure my windows had all the necessary updates and everything was installed.
- I uninstalled ALL itunes products in the proper order according to apple discussions.
- Went through all the folders in program files.
- Reinstalled it and I get an error message. ( Apple mobile device service (apple mobile device service) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services )
- I have gone through the Services window and tried stopping and restarting the program but I get an error message. (Windows could not start the Apple  Mobile Device Service service on Local Computer - Error 1053: the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion) I have gone through all the start and stop tutorials and none of them have worked.
- I have tried clicking ignore and sometimes it finishes installing but then gives me an new error message. ( iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (windows error 193) - I tried reinstalling and nothing.
- I tried finding the ituneshelper download but couldnt find it, I've also tried repairing and nothing works.
- I had downloaded and older version of itunes a few days ago that WAS working the 12.1 version (NOT 12.1.1)  but then my cousin came to see if she could fix it and now I can't even download that version.
I am OUT OF options and I dont want to have to spend the money on support. Can some one PLEASE HELP ME!!! I have been trying to fix this for days.

Hi Thank you,     the apple  mobile service links did not work, i had tried them all. however that same link with the previous versions worked. I had to download the one below and I can at least use itunes.
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
I tried this one but it did not work.

  • The Help Link from the Application Pages Does not Work for Peoplesoft Campus Solutions 9.0

    Hi everyone.
    I have a problem, I have been trying to set up the Help Link from the Application Pages for Peoplesoft Campus Solutions 9.0 according to the instructions given in the Document: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17566_01/epm91pbr0/eng/psbooks/EnablingtheHelpLinkfromApplicationPages.pdf ,  (referenced in the Doc ID 1289101.1, E-PB: How to Set Up the Context Sensitive Help with Hosted PeopleBooks using Universal Linking).
    I follow the instructions of that document carefully:
    I go to: PeopleTools -> Web Profile -> Web Profile Configuration
        2. Then I choose the Web Profile: "Development".
        3. Then Change the value for the Help URL field by entering the following URL format: http://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?id=%CONTEXT_ID%&ctx=hrcs90r5 , the ctx parameter selected is the one that correspond to  the Campus Solutions (hrcs90r5) according to the Product Line Code Table (ULinkID) especified in the mentioned document.
        4. Stop the Web Domain and Clear cache.
        5. Start the Web Domain again.
    After setting up the Web Profile Configuration I test the help links, thas is why I click in the Help link in any Peoplesoft CS 9.0 Application Page (modify a person), but the next error message appears: "We're sorry, the topic you requested was not found.".
    I tried many combinations with the ctx parameters URL but it does not work yet. 
    I did the same test, but this time using the Help URL field with a HRMS ctx parameter by entering the following URL format: http://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?id=%CONTEXT_ID%&ctx=hcm92pbr5 , and It works fine !!!
    According to the previous test you realize that It works with HRMS ctx parameter but not with Campus Solutions 9.0 ctx parameter,  Does anybody know what else can I do ? Am I doing anything wrong or missing? or maybe the Oracle's ctx parameter for Campus Solutions URL It is broken simply.

    2799444 - The page you are testing with appears to be a Workforce Administration page. Is that correct?
    The CS PeopleBooks would only work for CS pages, e.g.: try navigating to Main Menu > Campus Community > Personal Information > Add/Update a Person
    Also, you can use multiple ctx parameters:
    E.g.: http://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?id=%CONTEXT_ID%&ctx=hrcs90r5&ctx=hcm92pbr5&ctx=pt852pbh2
    This way the help would work for the HR related pages like Workforce Administration, Campus Solutions pages like Campus Community and also PeopleTools pages like Web Profile Configuration. Hope this clarifies your question. Thanks!

  • Please help! New desktop archive function DOES NOT work!

    Am using the new vista Desktop 6.2.1
    I have been using Treos for many years, and I often delete and archive address, memo, todo and datebook records. I keep critical archive files for reference and often do refer to old archived records.
    HERE IS THE PROBLEM: Whenever I delete and choose to archive an address entry or memo from my Treo and then hotsynch, the desktop hotsync process does not add the deleted records to the appropriate archive files the way it should and the way it has worked for years, in this case address.aba and memopad.mpa - the desktop hotsync process OVERWRITES those archive files. You lose all of your old archived data, anything that was archived is wiped out and replaced with the most recently deleted and archived records
    SO for example: I had 20 archived contacts in my address.aba file. I deleted a contact from my Treo and wanted it archived. After the hotsync all 20 archived contacts were gone, the only record in my address.aba file was the most recently deleted and archived record.
    I have tested this carefully and many times now with the address and memopad and the same thing happens.
    Am I the only one who uses the archive PIM files as valuable references? Can not imagine so, and can not imagine I am the only one who noticed this problem, or the only one it is plaguing.
    Can anyone offer an explanation and solution?

    I have the same problem. When I "upgraded" from a Treo 650 to a Centro Verizon, it came with Desktop version 6.2.2. The archive function does the same thing when I try to archive my Tasks.
    I have gone on Palms Chat service, called their support on the phone several times, sent an email to the Access software public-relations message center, and done everything I can to correct the problem with no success. The Palm support people don't even seem to understand my problem, let alone how to correct it.
    One technician told me that Access desktop version 6.2 doesn't work and to go back to version 4.1.4E. That doesn't work either.

  • Itunes does not work on my windows vista

    When I tried to open my itunes, an error window popped up saying, "The folder Itunes cannot be found or created and is required. The default for this folder is inside the music folder" I have no idea what this means. Please help me because this problem started in the summer and I have been almost 7 months without my itunes and my ipod music collection is greatly suffering. and if you can't help me, then receiving numbers for either windows vista help or itunes help would be great.
    oh yeah I have also removed and reinstalled itunes many times before so that doesn't work either.

    Hmm, no sure I totally understand your issue. However, there should be a subfolder in your Music folder called iTunes. This subfolder should hold all of your music files. Does this folder exist on your computer? Are your music files in this (iTunes) folder, or, somewhere else? What happens when you click on one of your music files saved on your computer (If the file doesn't already say open with iTunes, choose iTunes. You can see this if you right click on the file.) Post more info and I'm sure this problem can be corrected.

    Blanco1234 and Capnahabnick to confirm you have both implemented the steps listed in Configuration error - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/configuration-error-cs5.html?
    If so you could still be facing permission difficulties.  I would recommend logging in as a root user and trying to launch Photoshop in that account.  If you are successful then your current user account still has compromised file permissions.
    You can find information on how to log into a root user account at Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1528.

    you can not use gui_download in background.

    Thanks, for info, iPod Classic is a slower machine compared the Nano, unfortunately, if you read these discussions, majority of the freezes involved iTunes 10. Although if might be just slow and some impatient user just disconnect the iPod ands cause more problems. ( Yes I also did that but safely by doing a iPod Hard Reset, before disconnecting).

    or my usual solution for Windows Users.
    Antivirus has a tendency to freeze iTunes sync Operation with iPod Classic, causing a timeout, which corrupt your iPod filesystem, so when iTunes can't read the iPod, it is pointing to this problem. Other causes is when your iPod hardisk is dying, or your battery is dying causing hardisk crashes.
    My suggestion.
    Connect your iPod to the PC and run chkdsk, to fix any iPod diskerror, then disconnect it, after chkdsk complete.
    Disconnect your PC from Internet. (just to make sure no nasties creep into your system while you syncing.
    Stop the Antivirus program
    Connect your iPod to the PC, using a high speed USB 2.0 port at the back of your PC, do not use any USB Hub.
    When iTunes Open up, Restore your iPod please, this is for iTunes to map correctly, to fix the corrupted filesystem.
    When Restore complete, eject the iPod and reconnect again.
    Sync your ipod, preferably manually Manage in small batches and disconnect after every batch, to check that all is well.
    When all sync is complete, and iPod disconnected, start back your Antivirus and connect back the Internet.

    iTunes running under VISTA does not recognize media burned by iTunes Backup (v7.0.2) from a non-Vista machine.
    The original machine recognizes the media just fine, but the new VISTA machine does not recognize the dvd at all.
    Anyone else having a problem with VISTA recognizing burnt media?

    iOS 4.2.1 is the latest version of iOS for the 3G.
    Facebook and Whatsapp both require 4.3 or higher.
    If you want to use those apps, either use the old version that should be in your iTunes library or upgrade the hardware to a 3GS or newer device.

    Yes, I am connected to the Internet through my wifi. Everything is working fine with the e  eption of youtube.  I have reset all Internet settings and have tried synching to iTunes followed by rebooting.  This is all the advice I have found although none of it has been helpful.

    Check Settings > General > Restrictions, and check out Contacts toward the bottom under the privacy restrictions.
    That sounds like the probable cause you cannot add contacts.
    Regarding the iCloud behavior, that sounds like it got huge (35,000) because of incorporating other contacts (from social media, perhaps).  Also contacts sync has nothing to do with iCloud behavior.  The whole idea of keeping your contacts in the cloud is that once you change them on one device, they change everywhere.  Specific syncs are not relevant.
