HT201398 How do I delete an application - which is no longer visible in itunes or on the device - from ipad
Hi
I am getting an error that an app can not be copied due to an internal error.
I have deleted the application from my iTunes library and from my device but when when I do a sync, it still gives me this error.
Reset the iPad. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
Then sync again.

Why connect as SYS? Any DBA account should do.
After all, it is considered poor practise to connect as SYS on a regular basis (just as logging on as root in *nix is considered poor practise).

A couple of months ago I closed my BT mobile account. When l log on to MyBT to look at my landline/broadband account, the account shown first is the old mobile account so I have to reselect landline and wait for it to change.
Can I either delete the mobile account or move it to second on the list so that I do not have to keep changing? I cannot see any way to do this.

there's an "x" in the bottom left corner instead of the way it use to be also. I am totally frustrated because Im not a computer whiz and dont know how to get things back to their original position. Ive read the troubleshooting responses. it does not hel.
Were you using an add-on or extension that has disappeared after updating to Firefox 12 ??

Press the app until the apps start to jiggle, then touch the "X" at the upper left corner of the icon.

Thanks for your help. I just got my ipad yesterday and am totally overwhellmed.To delete an App, touch and hold on the icon until an "X" appears. Touch the "X" to delete the App. Press the Home button to restore the icons to normal.
To write papers you might consider the Pages App. -

In iPhone 2.0, how do you delete an application? I've tried by pressing and holding the app until it wiggles and this clicking the "x"; that removes the icon,but when I sync it comes back. I've tried by going to my library, right clicking the app and choosing delete, but it still seems to not go away.

I use iTunes Match so I can't confirm this on my computer (my Music tab looks different), but as I recall, on the Music tab you have the option to check to sync selected playlists, artists and genres, and then check which playlists you want to sync below that. Then, like songs, you would uncheck the playlists you don't want on your phone and sync to remove them.

Movies are not re-downloadable anywhere but in the US at present, so unless you are indeed in the US, you'll need to restore the movies from your backup.
