HT204022 I do not have a delete button to manually delete photos in photo stream I have iPhone 4. Help as all my storage is depleted.
I do not have a delete button to manually delete photos that are located in photo stream and are taking up all storage on my iphone 4. How do I delete these photos.?
To delete photo stream photos, open your my photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tap Edit tap all the photos you want to delete, tap Delete. This is permanent so be sure you save any that you want to keep before deleting them.

IPhone will not backup or delete Photo stream
So, this all started because I was trying to update my phone with to the iOS 7.1.2 but I wanted backup my phone to iTunes first. It would give me an error that it could not backup because of some unknown error. I thought maybe it was my pictures. I had over 5,000 pics from over the years. So I copied all of the pics to my computer then deleted them off my phone. Then I noticed that my photo stream still had pictures. I turned photo stream off in my settings and it asked me if I wanted to deleted all. I clicked delete. The pictures are still in My Photo Stream album on my phone and now I cant even access the album to manually delete them. It force closes every time I click on the Photo Stream album. All I really want to do is back up my phone. I have the iPhone 5S 32GB. It will not backup to the cloud either. I have tried to reset the lockdown folder, deleted all previous backups on my computer, deleted all photo stream pics on my computer and other devices. Let me know if there are any solutions other than restoring my phone to factory settings.
I have deleted all photo stream photos on my computer and other devices.
You only need to delete them in one place because they are only in one place.
The Photo Stream cache on your iPhone has not been cleared.
Quit the Photos app.
Double tap Home then swipe up on all icons (to close them all).
Then reset the iPhone.
Press & hold both Home & Power until you see the Apple logo (about 10 seconds).
Now go back to Settings > Photos and see if you can turn Photo Stream On then Off. -
RECENTLY I PURCHASE MY NEW IPHONE 5S AND AFTER BACK UP I SYNC THROUGH ICLOUD.NOW AND IN ORDER TO SAVE MEMORY I WOULD LIKE TO DELETE THE PHOTOS FROM "MY PHOTO STREAM" HOW I CAN DO THAT.PLS NOTE WHEN I TAP A PICTURE FROM "MY PHOTO STREAM" THE BIN ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT DOES NOTE APPEAR.
Hello EFSTATHIOU,
Congratulations on your new iPhone 5s! It sounds like you are trying to delete photos from My Photo Stream to save room on iCloud.
The photos in My Photos do not count toward your iCloud storage:
Does My Photo Stream use my iCloud storage?
No. Photos uploaded to My Photo Stream do not count against your iCloud storage.

If you would still like to delete the photos from My Photo Stream, use the steps below. I understand you are not seeing the trash can icon. You may need to tap on the picture one more time to see it, or you can delete multiple pictures by tapping Select when viewing the My Photo Stream album:
On an iOS 7 device
In the Photos app, tap Albums, then tap My Photo Stream.
Do either of the following:
Tap a photo.
Tap Select, then tap one or more photos.
Tap , then tap Delete Photo or Delete x Photos.

If you are still not seeing the option, I recommend restarting your iPhone and trying again, and then trying a reset if the issue persists.
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device until the red slider appears. Then drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Does the magic mouse not have the feature of viewing all open pages on the desktop like you do when you use the side buttons of the wired mouse?
No, you'll have to use Mission control for that. It's either located on the dock, the F3 key on recent laptops on a swipe on the trackpad.

how do I delete photo ALBUMS from my iPHONE 4?
I sync via icloud and I can not see any folders selected in itunes.
I searched the internet and basically there is no one who has the answer (so far)
to how you delete the iphone photo library and misc albums
I have also had every iphone and I am not stupid.
charles altmanReplying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

I have 1000 photos on my iPhone in Photo Stream... all have already been added to iPhoto. If I delete the photos in Photo Stream on my iPhone will I lose them on iPhoto??
Its the first time ive used iphoto, hence the vast number of photos i needed to import. I was importing from my phone to my macbook iphoto, my son caught the usb connection during the time when iphoto was deleting from the phone, after it had apparently imported all of the photos but none of them are on iphoto and only 195 are still on my phone.
The problem is not deleting them but finding them all?
Sorry ive typed this in the wrong place now cant delete it - if anyone can help with my problem however i would appreciate it! -
First, this has ROYALLY pissed me off. I was not asked or emailed or consulted on this prior to this happening. Now, it only moved 41 pictures when I told it to archive out of THOUSANDS of pictures I have on Adobe Photoshop Elements 10.
In order to edit - it tells me to first start by accessing
iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Android device ..................... I DO NOT HAVE ANY OF THOSE DEVICES OR MOBILE DEVICES......................WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE????????????? HOW CAN I EDIT MY FILES WHEN I DO NOT HAVE A MAC, OR IPHONE OR IPAD OR ANDROID DEVICE AND NO INTENTION OF BUYING ANY OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Pamela-
I am sure Scott covered this in the other post, but for everyone's benefit, I'll add my two cents:
You do not need any of "those devices" (Mac, ipad, iphone, etc) since you have a pc. You can access Revel via adoberevel.com on a browser.
I am sorry you are unhappy about the move. Customers were notified by Email on 2/22 and also on social media. Additional emails followed. Some users had forwarded our emails to spam and therefore saw the news later than others.
Because a decision was made to discontinue Photoshop.com sharing and storage, we gave users the option to have them moved to Revel rather than having all of their efforts deleted. Users who had files on Adobe Photoshop.com Sharing and storage cloud site and did not opt out, did or will have their files copied to Adobe Revel (another Adobe cloud sharing and storage service) by 6/18. These files will remain available in Photoshop.com also until 6/18 in case users wish to archive them with our media downloader. No files were copied or moved from your Elements organizer (if you use it) or hard drive, just copied from Photoshop.com.
This was not done to upset customers, but rather was done as a convenience for customers so that they did not have to go to the effort of downloading from the one site and uploading to another since that can be very time consuming. Revel is a free account that you login to with the same credentials as you did on Photoshop.com. Although Revel is not a replacement for Photoshop.com (it has more of a focus on sharing between devices), it is an alternative.
Revel clients are currently available for iPad, iPhone and Mac. We also have plans to release Revel for Windows and Android in the future. In the meantime, those users can access Revel via a web browser at adoberevel.com.
IF you are on a pc, you will notice that the web browser version of Revel does not offer editing capabilities. Until we release a version for Windows, you do have some options for editing and getting photos to revel: You can edit in Photoshop Elements 11 or Lightroom and upload to Revel from there, You can use older versions of Photoshop Elements or Photoshop or any other editing program and save the photos to your hard disk and then upload to Revel. You also have access to the Photoshop.com Photoshop express editor if you are not a user of Elements or another editing program. I gave instructions to another user on this post if you are interested. http://forums.adobe.com/message/5232833#5232833 .
You can sign up to be notified when Revel is available for Windows and Android by going to http://www.photoshop.com/products/revel ….scroll down and look on the right side where it says "coming soon- Notify me" for windows or android. Click and you can sign up to be notified.
We realize that Revel does not have some things that you are used to seeing on Photoshop.com, and we realize how frustrating that must be, especially since we do not have one option that covers all of the needs of what is being discontinued. Many of the requests we have seen will be implemented in Revel moving forward.
I hope that helps explain things.

I want to delete photos from my photo stream on my iphone 4s but I don't want the photos to get deleted from my computer. Is that possible or not?
Thanks in advance!Hi amz743,
They will be deleted from the PhotoStream folder in iPhoto, but if you have sync'd them then they will still be there in your Events or whatever new Folder you may have created for them. Also, deleting photos from PhotoStream does not delete those same photos from your Camera Roll, so either way, you will still have them.
Or, conversely, if you are asking if you would need to delete them from both PhotoStream and iPhoto (if they have aleady been sync'd), then yes, you would need to delete them from both places. PhotoStream is a separate entity from your actual photos that get sync'd.
Cheers,
GB -
I'm just confused, so if I delete a photo off my photo stream on my iPhone will it be deleted on my computer the next time I connect the two together? Or will it still be on my computer
If your computer is signed into your iCloud account with photo stream enabled, it will. Deleting a photo stream photo on any of your devices will delete it from photo stream an your other devices that are syncing with your iCloud account with photo stream enabled.
However if when you say "the next time I connect the two together" you are talking about connecting your phone to your computer with your usb cable, then no. When you connect your phone with your usb cable you are only importing camera roll photos, not photo stream photos. Thus, nothing you do with your photo stream photos will have any effect on this. -
IPhoto9.3.2 on 10.7.4 will not let me delete photos any more
iPhoto9.3.2 on a iMac i7 2.93 GHz with 12GB running MacOS 10.7.4 will not let me delete photos any more, neither delete, comman delete or even emptying the trash works since i updated it a week ago.
anyone else have the same problem or a solution?Same issue, but it's more involved... I don't use iphoto much, just to store photos, but I first noticed the problem about 2 months ago when trying to delete a photo. It would not delete, and afterwards iphoto would hang on close, and trying to delete caused a crash entry in the log. here's some details:
OS X 10.7.4, and 10.7.3. Possibly earlier.
iphoto 9.3.2, and one of the version 8's as well. Recently updated it.
If you try to delete a photo, here is the subsquent syslog:

I have repaired, and rebuilt the database. No change.
I have created a new database, imported 1 photo, and tried to delete it. No change.
I have copied the database (duplicated). No change.
I have deleted the iphoto preferences file. No change.
I have removed the application, and reinstalled from my iLife 11. No change.
I have removed the application and preferences folder, reinstalled from iLife 11. No change.
In addition to not being able to delete a photo, these additional problems exist:
Cannot delete an event.
Cannot move a photo from one event to another.
At this point, I'm fairly sure this is not a database issue. I'm also certain it's not related to the new update. Anyone got an idea that isn't related to the database? -
I just bought an new ipad mini with wifi and cellular. Is there any way to send text messages to people and contacts that do not have iphones such as friends with blackberrys or a samsung galaxy smartphone from this ipad. Everytime I try to send a message to a person that does not have an Apple product ( Iphone or Ipad ) it comes up saying contact is not registered for iMessage and wont send it. I can only send them a message from my iPhone 4 instead. Do I have to install a new App from the App store to send these non iMessage cell users a message?

Hello,
I had a one on one with my apple rep yesterday. They backed up my camera roll from my iphone as well as my ipad on my computer as I was not able to backup to icloud due to lack of space.
They advised me to delete photos from my photo stream on my iphone and ipad and then do a back up.
I deleted the photos from photo stream on my iphone and ipad.
I was able to backup my iphone but NOT my ipad as it is saying that there is not enough room on icloud to do this back up.
Any solution? If it says Not Enough Storage Space on iCloud then you can get more Storage space for iCloud if you want to backup more Data on iCloud Storage. You will find the Pricing for Additional Storage Space and how to Buy Storage Space for iCloud from your Device in the Link below.

HT201365 How do I change settings so I do not have to enter pass code all the time?
How do I change sttings so I do not have to enter pass code all the time?
The passcode is a key security feature to ensure that nobody has access to your device and data without you entering the passcode in. You can only have the option to have it on or off so if you wish to disable it then go to "settings>general>passcode lock" to do this.

I cannot beleive VZW does not have a way to black ALL international calls
My husband has been receiving harassing international call for well over a year. He answered the first few and there were a couple of girls laughing and speaking in a foreign language. He has not answered these calls since but they will not stop. Yesterday he received 33 calls from the same number. They use so many different numbers and area codes it is impossible to block them all. VZW of course wants him to change his number but it is a business number and they may be too costly to us. So yesterday I had to sign up for usage controls which is $5 a month/ $60 per year to try to stop them. I load in the max of 20 numbers allowed by VZ to block and this morning when we checked his phone the was a totally different number on the missed call list!
I cannot believe a company as technically advanced as VZ does not have a way to block ALL international calls.
Does anyone have any suggestions other than changing his number?Assuming your content was purchased from the iTunes Store, go to the iTunes Store, log into your account, and click the Purchases link under the Quick Links. From there you should be able to re-download some or all of your purchased content. Note that not all content has been licensed for re-downloading in all countries at this time. why i can't make a normal video call over my cellular operator using by iphone 4s ????!!!!
is it possible that if my mobile is iphone so i can not contact (Video Call - or Send Files over Bluetooth ) people do not have iphone ??????!!!!!!!!!
i'm still looking for solution, but if i there is no solution so i will throw My Own iPhone 4S in the nearest Trash.
(I had got a big problem and thanks for Nokia saved me. and if i don't care about apple products i will never send to you this, so kindly find solution or people in middle east will stop using iphone)No clue why you cannot make video calls over your cellular operator... have you tried contacting them?
If you're referring to FaceTime, it is currently limited to Wi-Fi only.
Sending files via Bluetooth is not a supported feature of the iPhone or iOS. A simple search of the web or these forums would have made that abundantly clear.
Threatening to throw away valuable items in these forums only serves to make you look less than intelligent. No one here is an Apple employee, we are all users like yourself. As such, we could care less what you do. If you choose to be stupid, that's up to you.
