My wife and I shared the same AppleID but now want to break these apart into separate accounts. I have set up a new appleid for her and also set up on line. However, I can't figure out how to change this on her iphone4. I have looked at all of the General settings but need guidance. When I use the phone to try to purchase songs from itunes, it reverts to the old appleID.
Any suggestions?

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)

You may be able to buy a program to do this - not supported by Apple.
the ipod is not a storage device. The sync is one way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchaes.
The music should be on a computer as that is where they came from in the first place. -

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

hello, this is a scam tactic that is trying to trick you into installing malware, so don't download or execute this kind of stuff! as you've rightly mentioned, you're already using the latest version of firefox installed and you can always initiate a check for ''updates in firefox > help > about firefox''.
you might also want to run a full scan of your system with the security software already in place and different tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes], [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner] & [http://www.kaspersky.com/security-scan kaspersky security scan] in order to make sure that there isn't already some sort of malware active on your system that triggers these false alerts.

There has to be at least one administrator. Change the password of the old account. While logged in as that user, open the Accounts preference pane in System Preferences, authenticate, select the new account, and uncheck the box labeled "Allow user to administer this computer."

Well, you use the different accounts such Phone Numbers, email addresses. And make sure that your iPhones have no receipient address in common, then you can avoid this issue.
I use iMessage on my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, iPod touch.
Each of them has a individual address to receive messages, so they won't combine all the messages among all the devices.
Try this, if it doesn't work, tell me, I'll figure another way out. -
My Old IMac G5 kaput, its ON or seems to be ON but its black screen can't do anything, though all my pictures and files are there. I want my photos and my itunes library Can't seem to get them. I have tried to restore my i phone 3gs using a USB cable connecting to itunes.The process has gone smoothley but i am now getting this message on my i phone;"your i phone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable.Try connecting your i phone to itunes to activate it,or try again in a few minutes.I have been trying and trying again and switched off my firewall too.but still getting this message.Can anyone please advise me?That is almost always because the phone was hacked to unlock it from the original carrier.

Using router and USB wireless on same machine but can't browse

I have a WRT54G connected to my desktop to enable a laptop to exchange files with me.
Also have a WUSB54G on the same machine to connect to a local hotspot.
Problem is I lose the ability to browse the net when the router is connected.
Does anyone know how to configure this setup so the web browser (IE6) will look for the internet through the USB adaptor instead of trying to go through the router?Are you able to go online, when your computer is connected directly to the router?? also your laptop is able to go online?? If computer is running on Win XP…. you need to completely uninstall wireless adapter from computer click on start >> programs >> wireless G USB adapter >> uninstall, insert the CD for adapter and restart the computer, one window would pops up found new hardware, install only the drivers no need to install software or utility and use WZC to manage wireless connections…check whether it works or not.

Aperture 2 won't recognize jpg files on Canon S90 after upgrading to 10.6.3
