    When I bought my Macbook Pro on Thursday I also purchased Pages whilst in the Apple store in town. The assistant helped me start the installation whilst I was there and he told me that it would continue when I got home, even if i shut the laptop down there. So this is what I did, however, since I've been home, every time I click Install on Pages in the App Store a message comes up saying : "There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later."
    Another thing I should mention is that I purchased Pages on a different Apple ID account when I was in the store, but I was told I only had to log in to that account from my Macbook Pro and I could easily download Pages.

    Simple solution:
    Go back to the apple store and say that you couldn't download pages
    Or you can let me remotely control your screen which I'm sure your not going to do the reason that I would control your screen was because I have bought iWork 09 and I could install pages on your MBP using my apple id

    If you're been waiting for a while and it still won't connect might try this:
    1 - enable the Debug menu in App Store:
    open the Terminal application.
    copy the command below and paste into the Terminal window:
    defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool true
    followed by Enter.
    launch App Store, login.
    2 - select the Debug ➙ Reset Application option:
    3 - try again.

    Does the app show up on the App List on iTunes? If it does, then it's been saved to your iTunes folder on your hard drive. Do a search for the app, because I just don't think you can move an item from your iPad to iTunes, unless you purchased it on the iPad, which it sounds like you didn't.
    You should be able to re-download the iPad version of the app, if one exists. Contact the developer, who might be able to help out.
    But thanks for pointing out the app. Just downloaded it to my iPhone 4.

    I am trying to download netflix and pandora and there is no button in the App Store to let me download it

    I have the exact same problem on two different iPad 2 (WiFi), the iPad 2 (ATT) and iPad 3 (verizon) do not have the issue.  All 4 are running 7.0.4.  Basically many apps do not have the 'free' or '$.$$' while many do.
    A quick look shows the same ones as the OP Netflix & Pandora, there are alos many others... Vudu & Red Karaoke are a couple other examples I was working on when I ran across this thread. 
    I've done a hard reset on both iPad 2 but it did not work.  As I said many apps apear normal (both free and paid) but a lot are unavailable to download.

    Only downloads from iTunes will be tied to that iTunes account, unless you subscribed to iTunes Match and uploaded the other songs from your computer to it. If you can't remember the account's password then you could try seeing if you can get reset via this page : http://iforgot.apple.com
    If that doesn't work then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can help : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
    When you've got access to the account you can update the primary email address on it to be one that you still have access to : http://appleid.apple.com
    If you don't have the music that wasn't downloaded from iTunes on a backup then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back from your iPod : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

I now want to download the app again through MY account. When I click INSTALL it asks for ID, but it shows up automatically with the other person's ID, so I delete that and enter mine instead. I then click SIGN IN, but then it says "Unknown error", then I click OK, then it says "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)". How do I get rid of all info of other people's IDs so I can get the app through my account again?
    The app that I'm trying to download actually might have been a pirated app. But I deleted it, so why is it not letting me get it through my account?
